Yes, it's Snapdragon 800:
Sony product page Z2:
2,3 GHz-Quad-Core-Prozessor der Marke Qualcomm MSM8974AB
http://www.sonymobile.com/de/products/phones/xperia-z2/specifications/#tabs
Sony product page Z1:
2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) Quad-Core-Prozessor
http://www.sonymobile.com/de/products/phones/xperia-z1/specifications/#tabs
Explaination: http://www.androidbeat.com/2013/09/difference-snapdragon-800-2-2ghz-2-3ghz/

Galaxy S5 has the 801,
http://blog.gsmarena.com/mystery-so...801-and-is-it-powering-the-samsung-galaxy-s5/
But IDK why Sony says it's 801 lol. and 801 is 8974-AC, and this has 8974-AB.
Edit : my bad, sony is correct on 801, both of them are 801 it's just different clock speeds.

Well the Z1 comes with the s800 although some testers with hands on report there is a s801 inside.
The tablet Z2 definitely has the s801 inside!
But on Sonys site you can see its the s800

Z2 & Z2 Tablet both are using Snapdragon 801

The GPU in the X10 is the Adreno 200 which is part of the first generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that was developed back in 2007/2008.
It can't compare with the Adreno 205 which is part of the second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that's found in more current smart phones such as the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc, Neo, Play, Pro, Mini/Mini Pro, Ray, and Active.
Mobile devices with the upcoming Adreno 220 and up promise 'performance that is competitive with console gaming systems.'
duh.. compare it to a Desire and Nexus One and it's the same.. Adreno 200 is weak.. unlike Adreno 205 which is 2x better
fps uncap is for 2d only

Yeah, and probably it won't have a battery. You'll need a power outlet to use it and the mobility depends strictly on the length of the cable .
At least this seems to be the new thing. Who needs a big battery when you can have a thin and useless phone?
snapdragon 810
Those Specs are Real:
The Galaxy S5 has a Snapdragon 805
And the Galaxy S6 will have the Snapdragon 810
You wont see the 64 bit 8 core Snapdragon 810 untill the Galaxy S6 even though it is already fully working and finished.

And who are you? Most tech sites are already showing the S5 as having an overclocked 2.5ghz Snap800. Not that an 805 is entirely impossible but roadmaps from qualcomm don't put it being out until later summer. Also I'm 100% calling BS on your "S6 specs"
What's the term? Put up or shut up. Prove it

Yes buddy y can't we? Its just speculations based on the previous devices of galaxy s series and some future expectations. Isn't it good?
Might as well start speculating about the galaxy s7

This might be a bit early but I got the sauce on the Galaxy S8. Samsung is planning to change the brand name from Galaxy to Universe so it will be the Universe S8. They hope to have Quantum Computation or xQC down by then. Early estimates show it will have up to a 5000% performance increase. Battery Life still 3 hours of screen time though.

This thread is based on complete speculation and has nothing to do with this sub forum which is for the Samsung Galaxy S 5.

Does the Zuk have 64bit processor?

Curious to know and what verison of 801? AB AC or AA?
According to Zuk web page:
"CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC"
http://www.zukmobile.cc/zuk-z1-u-touch-4g-lte-dual-sim-mobile-phone.html
According to the review from Android Authority on YouTube it's a 32bit processor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFnBdS5Sn1Q
MSM8974AC
(Snapdragon 801)
28nm LP
4 x Krait 400 2,45 GHz
Qualcomm Adreno 330 578 MHz
Dual-channel 32 bits LPDDR3 1.866
Source: http://www.xataka.com/moviles/qualc...a-de-64-bits-y-8-nucleos-snapdragon-610-y-615
So basically this has a better processor than the Oneplus X! apparently they are using the old AA version.
No 32 bit

Is it true that the Kirin 960 = SD 820/821?

I heard a youtuber called Floss claimed that the Kirin 960 is exactly the same as the SD 820/821.
Is that really true?
Currently using Sony XZ I bought two months ago as a temp phone until the new Sony XZ Premium comes out next month but I also had this phone on the radar.
But why would I buy this phone if the above is true and not just wait for Premium with SD 835?
Thanks.
I think you meant SD 820, 821 & 835.
Here is a good comparison (SD821 & Kirin960 included) with benchmarks by a respected site - if you have limited time, just read the Wrap-up near the bottom (last 6 paragraphs):
SoC showdown 2016: Snapdragon 821 vs Exynos 8890 vs MediaTek Helio X25 vs Kirin 960
In everyday usage, you'll not be able to tell between these or the SD835. The Sony XZ Premium seems a bit gimmicky to me with a totally unnecessary 4K screen - the relatively average 3230mAh is likely to take a beating because of this.
