You omit to include the "aosp" ROM you're on.
CM11 on the d802 works just fine. Perhaps you're using a CM derivative that is somewhat behind, or your phone variant has some significant difference in terms of hardware/API/Driver.
I am running liquidsmooth but it did it on cm11 as well

Something odd about your phone on AOSP perhaps. Someone using the same might chip in.

I was told its a AOSP rom issue.

Is there any chance that future roms based on stock android could contain the knock-on feature? That is currently the only thing holding me back as running stock android would complete this phone.
Thanks
There will AT LEAST be swipe to wake I'm sure (where you swipe across the screen to turn it on) but I'm sure there will be knockon

It seems to rely on the stock launcher/framework to fully function (maybe) so I doubt it. Probably just swipe to wake

That makes sense. In that case, there is nothing better than the G2 at this point.
Cant see this asked anywhere here so apologies if it has but does anyone know if its a particular piece of hardware or code specific that stops HDR + being incorporated into cm11 or PA say? Camera module maybe? Or it can be and I'm just blind.

Hey all I recently just installed the latest CM11 nightly on my LG G2 T-Mobile and as I'm checking out the ROM I've noticed that I can't just say " Ok Google" and it pop up as in the Nexus 5 or can't slide to from left screen to pull it up. Is something that yet hasn't been implemented or did something go wrong during installation? All else seems to be working fine though. Haven't checked camera but assume it works... Any information would be great.

When you install CM11 did you remember how you had 2 choices for your launcher. One have the Google always listing feature wile the other does not. If you switch the launcher than that feature should work.

So playing around with some night vision goggles I discovered the proximity sensor turns on when the screen turns off. I tried a phone call and discovered the flash pattern was the same. I played around with the settings but could find nothing that could explain this (on my s4 quick glance the culprit). Does anyone know why this is happening?

Possibly related to the feature where our will answer a call if you place the phone to your face

Wouldn't it start looking for your face only when a call is coming through?

The sensor stays on to prevent knock-on from working in your pocket. If it detects that the phone is in an enclosed space, it will not knock-on.

I'm really trying to use kitkat on my g2, but all the roms I tried made me lose rotation, light sensor and proximity sensor. Any1 that made it work could share with me how did you do. . ?
Thanks!

It's just the text. Pretty sure my phone is a d805
