Hey all I recently just installed the latest CM11 nightly on my LG G2 T-Mobile and as I'm checking out the ROM I've noticed that I can't just say " Ok Google" and it pop up as in the Nexus 5 or can't slide to from left screen to pull it up. Is something that yet hasn't been implemented or did something go wrong during installation? All else seems to be working fine though. Haven't checked camera but assume it works... Any information would be great.

When you install CM11 did you remember how you had 2 choices for your launcher. One have the Google always listing feature wile the other does not. If you switch the launcher than that feature should work.

Today I read a post that talked about some app of quiet hours.
I my mind is not bad I remember that android had this on 4.0.4???? Am I wrong? Cause my nexus 4 on 4.2.2 doesn't have it.
Thanks

Not on stock. CM has had it since gingerbread though. Maybe even froyo.

PA must have added it in because I have it and I'm running PA.
You could also use the app called - Battery Widget. It has the feature to set up quiet hours. You could also setup a tasker script for the same.
Thanks , mm yeah, I thought that was a stock option.
It would be nice google to add it.

Google just puts the bare minimum and if you want more. Do it yourself and install a app or flash a custom rom. That's the joy of having android, the possibilities of adding things yourself
I personally don't use profiles.

Did a google search and came to this thread. Thanks for the help!
Well, I'm not on a custom rom (running stock android 4.3) nor do I have the screen filter. Still there is this problem. Help please!
Today I noticed that when I unplug my headphones I get a toast saying that it was disconnected.
This thing occurred today so maybe Google did what Sony did and pushed a few modified files over to all the Nexus 4's on stock without any OTA's or anything like nothing happened.
Does anyone with the stock rom get this today?
Go to http://flic.kr/p/fb5Uiy for screenshot.
Cannot upload image to XDA anymore for some reason.

Stock rom, toast in Android means this black rectangular shape with text within on the bottom of the screen, refer to screenshot in the first post.

I haven't seen that toast. It could be coming from an app you have installed and not the OS. Perhaps the Zoner AV you have installed.

Your right, It is the Music Tagging app, I just greenified it so it will not occur again.
This is what happens when you think too hard when there is a simple fix.

Clearly not from stock software, hardware icons go to the right with WiFi and BT.

What hardware buttons?, I am using the Google-all-clean-stock rom.
Bluetooth is off so the icon does not show which is completely normal since Android 1.5.

I never said buttons. On my G1 there use to be a headset icon indicating headphones, I can't recall if my other android devices had it tho. The BT icon was an example to emphasize where hardware based icons go relative to the status bar.

The Nexus 4 never had the headset icon, I know what you mean because I seen it on my hard bricked LG GT540.

That is Google Music, you can still have that icon without earphones.
That is for changing songs from the notifications bar.
Apologies for late response, I am in Madeira at the moment and I only can get internet at certain times.

Hello, whenever I tap on an app or something in an app it takes about 0.5s for it to actually recognize that I tapped an app, however tapping the softkeys or swiping left and right seems fine, I have the international version stock rooted with TWRP

Do you use Nova launcher? I have the same issue, and when i switch back to stock launcher it gets better. Not only on launcher itself but also within launched app. Never had a similar issue on android.
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2479892
Already did
I had the same problem, I was actually returning the phone. I did a factory data reset in settings and it fixed my problem for now.

Does anyone know of an IR app that will work other than the LG one ? Im running CM but I would love to have the remote function back. Thank you
Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk
IR is not just an app. It needs to be supported in the framework first.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
I'm wondering about this too. Would Unified Remote work since it has IR functions now? I may just buy it and check because it's a great app regardless but if anyone knows of an alternative that does work with CyanogenMod I'd like to hear about it.

Read above, no IR app is going to work on any AOSP ROM at this point.
That's unfortunate. Back to stock I go then.

Doesn't the HTC One Google play edition have an IR remote app? (that is a question. I don't know)
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The HTC One Google Play edition does have an IR blaster app, but as stated previously no app can fix this - it is something that needs to be added into CM first.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy I used this with sgs4, it's not compatible with LG g2, but developer said they working on it
