i don't know if it is related to the problem but the google play store crashes many times when i use it.

Hi all!
I bricked my N7 a couple of days ago, while flashing and update. I did not bother to revert my navbar to stock before flashing gapps update (smart huh?). Im trying to solve the problem through adb. The device will not be recognized when i plug it in, so im trying to mount it manually. therefore i need my specific vendor id. Q is -How do i get it when its not recognized in device manager. The N7 is dead as a fish. im sure i need to completely wipe and push a new bootloader image, before any hopes of recovering. Any help is appreciated. Im using ubuntu 12.04.

Never experienced using Ubuntu, but if you can boot to fastboot mode on your N7 then you're not fully bricked. If you can fastboot, then just flash stock rom again.

Hi, _frog hair...
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if your bootloader is truly broken (corrupted or erased), then there's not a lot you can do.
Some guys on this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879228 have been experimenting with the possibility of nvFlashing a bootloader in APX mode, but so far nobodies figured a way of doing it. Something to do with encryption keys, I understand.
Rgrds,
Ged.
(PS, Have you tried these power-on button combinations.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133986).
Dumb question, but you're sure this tablet doesn't have a dead battery which needs charging?

not sure how you bricked your nexus doing that. i have had no problems flashing a update with gapps without reverting navbar stock first.

You believe android antivirus?? Also if you instal only via Google play its minimal chance
What antivirus do you recommend? the malware send messages in broadcast. avast and other don't detect it
My antivirus is my brain Apps in android cannot check another one Its not a windows
Best thing is Xprivacy. (Xposed module, requieres root acces)
Hi everyone,
I have a couple of questions that I hope can be answered. I live in Ireland and have just bought a brand new at&t Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900A from a neighbour thats just back from the states, I am hoping that I can root it and get rid of nearly everything that they have on the phone..
Is it possible for me to root the phone and flash a standard samsung kitkat rom on it? I want all the s pen functions and want to feel like I have a normal phone and not one thats been destroyed by at&t.
Thanks in advance and hopefully I can get some pointers..
PS: I have also put this in the at&t galaxy note 3 section but it doesn't seem like anyone answers any questions over there lol
Yes as beginner I think it is possible by just flash an usual stock rom
Gesendet von meinem SM-N9005 mit Tapatalk
OK so I have rooted my note 3 using towelroot.com and installed supersu and rootchecker to cinfirm its rooted. Now how do I go about rooting it?
Is it odin I use? Where can I get a standard kitkat rom?
Thanks again

Hello Everybody,
I am an owner of Huawei P8 and have some experience on root and flash . Now I asked but firmly the garkein Custom Rom there for Huawei . What do you think will be this as it may do in the near future a little ? Otherwise I probably made the wrong decision .
What I find very impressive is that there are several custom ROM for my Xixoon , and that was a really cheap China phone .
Best Regards from Germany
Hi, I like the overall speed of this ROM. Thanks.
I only have an annoying problem: when I clock the Home button to wake up the de vice it takes sometimes about 10 seconds. Randomly. If I click it twice it wakes up immediatly.
Anyone else has this?
I also look for a custom rom, something like CM12 or other thats close to "stock" Android.

Help needed P8 bricked following OTA update
Firstly sorry to post in this thread but I don't appear to be allowed to start a new one. I need help, I took an OTA update this morning on my GRA-L09, it was about 108mb and I think it was to update to B161 but I might be wrong on that. Update downloaded OK and appeared to install OK as well but on reboot its stuck on the Huawei logo and no matter how long I leave it wont go any further. I can get into recovery (stock) and factory reset but this doesn't seem to function properly, it starts to countdown the %age completed but when it gets to about 10% it jumps to complete and invites a reboot but that just takes me to the logo and no further. Bootloader is unlocked and the phone is rooted but I didn't think that would be a barrier to accepting an OTA. HiSuite doesnt recognise that the device is connected and I'm stumped. Can anyone help me out of this mess?
Try this one

What you can try is : get into bootloader mode, or recovery. Try to do adb reboot fastboot, and flash TWRP, do factory reset from that. If that doesnt work, you can get a friend who has P8 to backup via TWRP and restore to your device?
I can look into the exact commands in about 10 hours
Main focus : try to get into Fastboot mode, and flash twrp (if you know how to)

Since its german instructions, I need to backup my rom, Factory reset, copy the file to sdcard, then flash from sdcard?
Flashed TWRP and now it isnt booting to system or bootloader -_-
What caused it : I used ADB reboot recovery... What now ._.
If its only reboot to twrp you need to turn off your phone.
If you dont have a update.app in your dload folder please press vol+ and vol - and your power button. Then its reboot into recovery and there you can boot system ..
Its a twrp bug

Hello everyone,
I was using my moto x play normally and I was surfing on the internet. Suddenly the device disconnected, I pick up my phone, disabled wifi, and re enable it, since that the device freezes and suddenly rebooted. Showed me a quick animation of moto bootanim and restarted.
When the phone booted up again, the moto shows me ''optimizing apps''. I have no idea what the problem is but it is no the fifth time that the moto did this problem. I have try everything like a hard reset and the provider had replace my battery, but with no results.
I have also filmed my problem if you want to see the video I can send you a link with the URL.
Please is there anyone who can help me.

Is your phone rooted or has unlocked bootloader?
Sent from my XT1562 using Tapatalk
What does rooted and bootloader mean? I have never download some illegal software on my phone.
They're asking if you've unlocked the bootloader by getting the unlock code from Motorola, and then enabling root access.
Have you done a full factory reset or reflashed the firmware using your computer? The former is in the Settings -> Backup and Restore menu. You'll be wiping the phone and resetting all the settings to their defaults, to see if there's an application is crashing your phone.
