l7 cant boot to emergency mode

hello all, i want to flash my lg l7 and i cant go to emergency mode :crying:
i pressed volume up + power button but nothing it just vibrates NO SIGN OF EMERGENCY MODE! please help me ,thank you!

ive managed to enter to emergency mode but now after reset phone step im getting error :WParam : 100 LParam : 2 and nothing... please help!

Then try launch software with type 3GQCT and phone mode CS emergency. Next, connect phone via cable usb without battery. Maybe reinstall kdz and drivers.

Ok first i had ICS then i got jb cm10 it worked normally for couple days ,but when ive downloaded chainfire 3D and installed drivers it doesnt boot! then ive tryed to flash it

**** IT! same error.... now i will try different version of kernel.

I have lg l7 p705 and same problem i stuck on EMERGANCE MODE

If you currently have a Jelly Bean then install Jelly Bean.
Uninstall KDZ Flash Tool + drivers and install again.
1.Install drivers.
2.Install KDZ Flash Tool.
3.Turn off your phone. Connect phone via cable USB and pressing volume + and power (without battery). On screen shows emergency mode with yellow background.
4.Open KDZ and:
a) 3GQCT + EMERGENCY
b) 3GQCT + CS EMERGENCY
Disaster recovery software for LGMobile Support Tool rather not work. But you can check it.
If you have P705 then install for P705:
-Hong Kong or Taiwan: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=13

try this it worked for me:
turn the phone off
remove battery
press "volume up"
connect to PC via USB
this is the only way to enbale emergency mode which worked for me

i researched on xda and the whole google articles but found no post as this....
i literally cant enter into lg's emergency mode.. tired many methods and button combination no use...
tried to use kdz but device not found...
neither when i connect i get to hear the new hardware sound

1.-uninstall the drivers and programs lg l7 on your pc.
restart your pc, and reinstall all programs and drives
for your pc to recognize the phone.
2.-remove the battery, press the power button and volume + and connect the phone to the pc, buttons go into emergency mode
Try this a few times.
you may need to perform step 2 more times

what are you trying to do with your phone to begin with ?
what system are you running on your pc ?
assuming its windows
do what he said and then see if any unknown devices (or with yellow triangle) in device manager.

i was running the stock version rooted on my phone.. i was doing a shutdown procedure to complete 2nd partitions script mounting. after shutting it down my phone never started. dats y i tried getting into the emergency mode to flash stock rom if in case of soft brick..
im using win7 and stock rom on my phone. moreover on connection with my computer it doesnt recognize my phone now...

is your phone in bootloop ? or does it display blank screen ? (black or white)
did you try to remove sdcard ?
did you try to hard-reset ?
can you try to remove anything related to lg from your pc ? (all programs and drivers)
do you have qmemo button on top of volume buttons ? you can try to enter safe mode (most scripts will not work in this mode so you might get lucky)

I no longer use this device, so I'm not aware if other users had the same issue like you.
First, did you try searching this forum for similar issues?
If not, it might be a better good place to start.
Second, please explain better whats happening to your phone:
Can you turn it on? If you can, what do you see?
Can you enter recovery mode? (volume down + home + power)
Can you enter emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power)
Did you try flashing stock firmware with KDZ-flasher?
What ROM did you try to install? Did you check the ROM's page in these forum?

I Tried To Enter The Recovery Mode But When I Try To Do The Capacative Touch Buttons Light Up For A Second OR Two, The Device Vibrates And Then Again Dead!
Cant Enter Emergency Mode Same Thing Happens Above There ^
Tried To Flash Using KDZ But Device Was Not Found!

It's very problematic that you can't enter your device into emergency mode.
I think the only option that is left regarding software is to uninstall all of the drivers that are already installed for you device,
installing the latest drivers from the official site, and then try to use LG Mobile Support Tool to flash stock firmware.
Other than that you can only send it for a hardware repair

Bro i Tried To Use LG Mobile Support Tool And In Downloading Mode (Remove Battery>Press And Hold Volume Down Button>Plug In USB) It Gets Recognized (Only In Downloading Mode) And Shows The The Device LG E400 Has The Latest Software Installed V20A. When I Try To Use Update Recovery It Downloads A File Of 166.76 MB And Then Starts Installing it But It Gets Stucks @ 4 % For 5-10 Mins And Then The Tool Asks Me To Replug USB Etc And Then Retry But Same Thing Happens!
In Downloading Mode The Device Is Also Recognized By KDZ Updater But While Flashing A Stock Rom I Get An Error Of wParam And lParam!

your device not die yet, try use LG support tool again, when it stuck at 4% or above, reboot your phone while plugging in computer. after that, hope it continue processing. this had worked with my fiend's phone

I Found That In LG Support Tool It Says The In The Phone The Software Version Installed Is V20A
But There Is No Such Software Version For The Device L3 In LG Firmware Download Page!
But There Is One For LG Optimus L5
So I Guess That I Installed The Rom For L5 To L3 And It Is Bricked Now So Any Solution? o:

When saying download mode you're referring to emergency mode?
Do you see in your phone that you're in emergency mode?

Maybe try what @kien_vip suggested.
And maybe try flashing the right stock version with KDZ-flasher.

When i say download mode i mean (Remove Back Cover and Battery>Plug in USB while pressing Volume Down Key!)
As far as i guess we can enter emergency mod by pressing both the volume keys and power key at the same time.
I tried using KDZ but at some point gives me an error of WParam and LParam as I posted above.

Yes, you're right - to enter emergency mode hold volume up + volume down + power
When you're inside you'll see on your screen "EMERGENCY MODE" on a yellow background.
Only the use KDZ-flasher or the lg mobile support tool.
If you're indeed in this mode, then try what @kien_vip suggested above.

The buttons just light up for a second or two then vibrate then again dead.

Before entering emergency mode you should remove the battery for a few seconds. Place it back into your phone then enter into emergency mode. Hope this could help you.

Lg update tool uses baseband as the only check whether your device has the latest update. This means you will get the update if you use an older baseband. However, you should try emergency option.

I have lg optimus e400, first I flash ICS cyanogenmod then I return to stock ROM....then I discovered a kitkat update and I flash it but due to my vision issues again I returned to stock ROM, until I noticed really odd problem my system memory became smaller, 62MB to be specific, which is usually 125mb free space after a factory reset, I do the reset again and again using factory reset on settings and in the cwm recovery and nothing happens my installed apps is still there ,,other than that many apps stopped unexpectedly and doesn't work anymore (e.g. message, camera, gapps,WAP/mobile data,com.android etc)...
solution I tried:
-factory reset
-ROM reflashing
-clearing data and fix permissions via cwm recovery(this one fix the gapps and com.android force stopped)
any suggestions ....
thanks any effort and help is much appreciated..

Hey, Sorry If im Replying Too Late.
Try Re-Flashing Stock RoM Using Kdz Updater.
This Should Help You! Then If You Want To Root Again Try SuperOneClick Root (Easiest Way) And Install CWM

[Q] bricked my phone (lg g2)

I think i flashed wrong stock ROM.
problems with phone now are
1.no recovery
2.no download mode
3.stuck at lg logo.
4.whenever plug in USB it starts automaticaly and get stuck at LG logo.
5. can be power of by long pressing power button (it gets reboot in between).
but it can enter in "three button press" mode
please help me ...

Are you sure download mode isn't working? Easiest way is this... With phone off, hold ONLY the up volume key. Then while holding, plug in the phone to the PC. What does it do?

I recently tried to install a custom rom on my LG L5-E610 so I rooted the device, unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM Recovery on it. So far so good.
Btw I was going to use this custom rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/development/l5-l7-cyanhacker-v2-0-sbp-t3061734
Beeing in CWM I flashed GApps, SuperSU and the rom of course AS WELL AS some sort of baseband (which I think is something that I was not supposed to do as it's not claimed in the custom rom thread)
And now everytime I try to power up the phone this happens: (video on my dropbox) https://www.dropbox.com/s/eifhw0pk1kwz2fd/LG L5 problem.mp4?dl=0
However sometimes after beeing stuck on that screen (and the screen turns off) i can (after pressing the home button) use the phone normally with the custom rom on it. Although sometimes the touchscreen or the speakers won't work.
But usually it's stuck like shown in the video.
I also can't enter CWM Recovery anymore.
Nothing helps so I hope some kind person on XDA can help me

Don't be desperate
You installed the baseband of aidasaidas75. I don't know why he made this new baseband, but several people have passed or are going through this situation you are going through right now. The screen is gray? It should show the LG Logo and a message like "Don't remove the USB cable" or something...
Have u done this procedure? ---> 1st - Remove the battery and insert again | 2nd - Click the Volume Up (or Down, try both and see which one works) button and connect USB cable to PC | 3rd - Open KDZ and flash the stock ROM (or whatever .KDZ file you have for the e610) | 4th - If it shows an error in KDZ like Wparam or Lparam (0) just ignore it and wait till it reaches (100) | 5th - Let the phone reboot... You have to be patient here because it takes a really long time! | 6th - Enjoy your phone

my phone doesn't show any logos
the moment it turns on the screen the screen just stays as shown in the video
whenever i connect the phone to the computer (whilst pressing both volume up+down) and then start the kdz updater the only thing that shows up is:
PHONE WAS NOT FOUND!
i tried most of the things you suggested but nothing works
i think the problem is that i'm missing some sort of driver as my phone doesn't get detected by the computer as a LG L5 but instead as "android" wich my computer thinks to be a Mass Storage Device.

you have to leave the screen like this:

If you get put in this way, just connect to your PC and have them install the Stock ROM.
Now, if you could not leave it, try other key combinations to try to enter download mode.
do not give up!!!
