The new google play music keeps crashing, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It just says Google Play Music has stopped working. Anyone else getting this or know a fix?

If it makes you feel any better, this is a cross platform, cross ROM issue. I am having the same problem with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and I have seen the same problem reported on S3s, S4s, Droid Bionics, etc.
I keep looking to see if Google is providing an update, but no apparent response despite the growing chorus of complaints and reports.
I had this issue when I flashed the latest Paranoid Android alpha update and their new gapps.
I flashed previous gapps and updated everything and I'm good now.

I had this problem out of nowhere yesterday morning. I removed extensions, etc. Nothing had changed since it had worked the day before, other than their new "listen" rollout, or that pandora competitor.
It would immediately crash with an "aw, snap" every time, within a millisecond.
So I went here: support.google.com/googleplay/?rd=1#contact=1
and filled that out. Got the auto response email with some pat, boilerplate problem solving stuff.
But I didn't do ONE THING, and it fixed itself.
I have a hunch that they get receipt of that, and check your account and fix it behind the scenes. That's the only thing I can think of, because I didn't do a thing, and it stopped working.... and started working again after I didn't do a thing (other than try to remove extensions).....
that support troubleshooter may have done the trick. I am back up and running.
I had the same problem when upgrading to Play Music 5.0.something; what I did to overcome the FC's:
1. Clean cache Download Manager
2. Clean cache Play Music
3. Clean cache Media Storage
4. Reboot
I had the same problem and uninstalled updates to roll back to the prior version. Then on Friday, I saw the update pending and decided to try again. Somehow, it did indeed fix itself. However, what I notice now is that it likes to un in the background on its own from time to time -- enough that it seems to be interfering with battery life . . . .
Works fine for me, never had an issue. I don't use it though as I don't listen to music on my phone
Hello!
I'm having a lot of Wi-Fi problems on stock based ROM (Cloudy Pro currently, but have tried other as well). Google services seems to have a lot of problems making the initial connection which results in having to turn Wi-Fi on & off before working, but it only fixes it temporarily. After making the connection it mostly works though.
YouTube doesn't work except for a few videos. PushBullet can't connect to my Google account. Play Store doesn't load at all, or takes 30-60 seconds to start a download so updating 3-5 apps can take up to 5min. Instagram I think have problems, not sure since I doesn't use it very often. A random website here and there doesn't work.
Reddit, Imgur, Gfycat, XDA, Twitter, Snapchat all works. If I open YouTube in a browser it works. Other video sites works. 3G/4G works perfectly, no problems at all. AOSP based ROMs works perfectly, except slightly slow download start in Play Store.
I have tried clearing data/cache from Google Services/Play Store & wiping from recovery, neither works.
I have the D802 32GB (Norway) version. I'm using CloudyPro II 2.1, with the KK Baseband D802. I have tried Pardus, CloudyStock & CloudyFlex, all have the same problem.
If anyone knows what causes this, it would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Oh, and it started happening after the KitKat update. No problems before.
Hi All,
For the past few weeks, maybe a month, I have been experiencing random crashes of apps on my G2. Everything from weatherbug to hangouts will randomly crash. Chrome crashes, picasa uploader crashes. I know I could try a factory reset but I really don't want to go down that road because it rarely fixes the issue, at least for me.
Is there any way to check the logs and see what is causing this issue? Phone is not rooted.
Running:
4.4.2
Kernel 3.4.0
Build Number KOT49l.D80020y
Software version D80020y
I'm running Call of Duty Heroes on my 6p rooted MTC19T.
The game keeps on crashing every now and then for no apparent reason. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing cache, etc but no luck so far.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
P.S. Other games seem to work fine (SimCity, Pottery, Sniper Fury).
Any ideas? Or nothing I can do? App Issue?
Most likely app related issue if nothing else crashes. Try sending them an email of your crashes and they can look into it.
I upgraded to Android 7.0 for about one month and all looks OK, just eating my battery quite a lot.
But this morning after updating couple of apps on Google Play, my phone got reboot couple of times.
Anyone got the same issues and know which app causes this?
