I was trying to flash X-Note Rom over my GS5 but it says in the installation instructions that I needed the NG2 bootloader so I downloaded it and tried to flash it using odin but odin keeps failing to flash it
This is what I get when I try to flash it:
Code:
<ID:0/005> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/005>
<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Note: Im using the G900T

You didn't tell us what the full file name and version of the bootloader file is? Or much else.

I really need help do not know what to do I really need help do not know what to do when I try to reinstall the official rom the following message appears ::::::::::::::::
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> There is no PIT partition.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
<ID:0/003> Removed!!
observation : and recognized by odin
PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE :::::::::::::::
Download the PIT file for your device, which should be available on the forum. Then flash a stock ROM and the PIT file through Odin. This should correct your issue.
Just bought a phone, already upgraded to latest Lollipop firmware from Samsung.
Knox warranty is 0x0.
Now I want to flash Cyanogenmod, and first I tried to install recovery (CWM/TWRP). Downloaded odin 3.09.3, did everything according to tutorial, odin says everything is ok:
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/003> recovery.img
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003> RQT_CLOSE !!
<ID:0/003> RES OK !!
<ID:0/003> Removed!!
<ID:0/003> Remain Port .... 0
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)
Phone reboots into samsung firmware. Turning it off and holding vol up + home + power on brings stock recovery, no changes.
What should I do? Maybe bootloader is locked somehow? How to check and unlock? I did it once on a Nexus 10 tablet. Thanks!
Uncheck auto-reboot in Odin before flashing. That should fix it.

Thank you. Helped!
I have one Samsung S5 4G+ SM-G901F on Orange network, Romania.
I want to downgrade from 5.0.2 G901FXXU1BOC4_G901FORL1BOC1_G901FXXU1BOC4 to 4.4.4 G901FXXU1ANH7_G901FORO1ANH2_G901FXXU1ANH6. Tried to flash with Odin this firmware from Sammobile and got this error:
<ID:0/003> system.img.ext4
<ID:0/003> modem.bin
<ID:0/003> cache.img.ext4
<ID:0/003> hidden.img.ext4
<ID:0/003> FAIL! (Ext4)
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)"
Also tried to use a PIT file G901F_pit_G901FXXU1ANH7_FTM but same error.
Now I flashed again 5.0.2, but how can I get back yo 4.4.4? I have understand it is something about new partitions size...
Thank you!
P.S. There is one thread about downgrade, but is for G900 models.

Your bootloader is locked and you can't downgrade.

We have the same problem. And we can't downgrade cause our bootloader has been locked.

No. It means that you cannot downgrade due to the locked bootloader. just stick to Marshmallow, just get used to it.

Is there a way to flash the bootloader via twrp to bypass this error?like bootloader flashable zip file?
