[Q] X8- Cypress ...

Is cypress digitizer not working with modules like x8 mddi by DX???...
Cause everytime i play a game...it will lag a while...and when i press home button...it takes time to recover or restore bak the launcher??i mean it blackout awhile..and lags...and then slowly initialise...is so slow...is it better for me to go back to stock rom??..i just wanna know is cypress working with the mddi lag fix module?
i got 60+ apps....

Calm down, mate.
I encounter the same thing here, but I THINK that cypress works with Dx's mddi. whenever I press the home button from my game it blacks out too. just like you, it's because our x8 doesn't have enough RAM I guess. So it'll load a little slower.

But i some time sms ...i use go sms...den when pop out came....the launcher will blackout agin......does my apps have too much?...is the stock really more lags?...cause i never tried stock for even 1 day...=,=...but i love some stock features.....
and the launcher takes 10 second to initialise.....damn

what ROM are you using? Well, stock isn't lag at all. but it's not as smooth as custom ROM's, and it's more battery draining. Try to full wipe, wipe cache, dalvik cache. etc. reflash.

I'm not sure about that.. just try to reflash the ROM and wipe everything. I have no lags in this ROM.
i never have a lot apps in my phone just a few.

I have cypress digitizer and mddi lag fix don't work for me!

when i was on froyobread v19 it worked alright (i had no red lines in fps2d)

My SE Xperia Arc is sluggish!

Hi all ,
Bought my Arc two months ago and loving it , however I’m little bit annoyed with its sluggishness. Whenever I exit any APP like email, games etc. APPs in desktop isn’t not appearing promptly and scrolling to other pages becomes literally very slow and sometimes freeze for a while! I occasionally can’t answer incoming calls, I keep sliding to answer but no response . I’m not quite sure what could be the reason.. although I’m not using any task killers apps, and my Arc is NOT rooted. And I always make sure that before installing any APP it is compatible with SE Xperia Arc and from Android Market!
I’d appreciate any help guys, is there anybody facing the same ? is it a manufacturer flaw ? is there a fix for my problem ?
I’m using Gingerbread 2.3.3.

How much free memory?

I have the neo which is pretty similar phone, I had a issue mush like yours 2 days ago, so i checked to see what running in the services there was an app using 80 meg of memory which seemed alot so i removed the app and now its fine, it was this app https://market.android.com/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle&feature=search_result you may have this app or a different app thats doing something similar

Also suffering with this. Sometimes my phone will freeze going into dialler even when I have an app killer in the background.

i notice the amount of free memory varies from 67 MB to 96 MB as max. could this be the root cause ?

Thanks for the reponse i'm not sure if i have APP using similar amount of memory MB ! what is the maximum limit of MB allowed per APP ? what tool are you using to determine that ?

You have to have good amount of RAM left. It's in the system, you can easy check this out.
And I personally don't recommend any background task killers.

My advice is get ur arc rooted, u will benefit much more from this. In addition, using Autokiller Memory Optimizations, it would serve ur sluggishness well

Actually, I suggest you make a back up of important stuff and then use SEUS to repair/reflash your phone.
A fresh phone might just solve your worries. Good luck with it.

There are many stuff u can do when u get ur fone rooted:
+ Remove the bloatware that I'm pretty sure consuming a lot of both memory and battery
+ ur able to use tweaked kernel (made by DoomLord & if2 atm) or software like Autokiller Memory Optimizations which can optimized ur phone running smoother & faster. Besides, there is kind of handy script for arc called v6 supercharger. it is reportedly working on arc so well (no sluggishness, no lag)
+ and so many more u can find out of ur own accord
By the way, my arc is running perfectly with normal use. it can easily run for at least 2 days without recharging battery and smoothy as well.

You require an unlocked bootloader for that.
You don't NEED an unlocked bootloader for root.

This is the problem here, your phone does not like iOS users.
Just kidding, any of the solutions above (rooting and removing unnecessary stuff or reflashing ) should solve your issues.

I used to have the same problem. Facebook Integration was the problem... I disabled the sync and removed the photos being synced with it. Also removed most of the widgets and the phone wasn't lagging as much as before. I ended up rooting...

After playing with the touchpad and ipad I've really noticed how much you have to move your finger to actually scroll on the 10.1
Is there any setting to make it more sensitive?

I have tried this app (touchscreen booster) on my p7500, and I don't think that it changes anyhing at all.

all i can say is that i am using it, on my 10.1 v and 10.1, together with" ADW ex launcher " and it works for me.!!!
eg.
i barely touch my screen and can " swing " the icons around in a circle !
flicking from desktop page to page, is smooth and fast !
i have played with a ipad 2 a few times and its smooth, but i rate my 10.1v and 10.1 right up there !!( facts, according to me)
Finally,the customization, bit from android does/swings , it for me !to the 10.1
Just read the " relevant app " market reviews,and there is quite a few! ( nearly all are very positive reviews and i see the rating is 4.7 out of 5 ? ( if i remember correctly ?)
so all in all,

The Touchscreen Booster app does not work. Nobody cares about scrolling/swiping speeds on the home screens. That is not the issue.
The issue is scrolling in apps especially web browsers. Scrolling in web browsers on the tab 10 is the most frustrating experience you can have. It scrolls so slowly that you have to swipe up or down 100 times to get to the top or bottom of many webpages. Very annoying and frustrating.
Your Touchscreen Booster apps does nothing to resolve this.

plse read my post ,i gave an example about sensitivy ( in case you don't understand what i meant with ..eg ..abreviation ? Further i use it with ADW ex , ( not as a standalone ? )Further, i said read the reviews about the relevant app ( market ),etc .In general ,this is my experience and what i found.Above all, it is not " my" touchbooster as you state in your post "Your Touchscreen Booster apps does nothing to resolve this."

Again, the touchscreen booster does not change anything. It does not improve scrolling at all. It has no effect on scrolling at all. As stated before nobody cares about the home screens so I dont understand why you posted what you did. This thread is asking about scrolling not touch sensitivity. Touch sensitivity does nothing for scrolling.
Even with the app installed it does not change any aspect of the touch screen. It isnt even compatible with the tablet. Its just does not work at all.

The home screen animations are different, but I'm not really bothered about this

markdj57, please comment on the above and also where you've noticed the improvements
Its the one let down with this tablet, feels a bit of a chore to use for long periods where as the Ipad is a pleasure to use in this area
is this an andriod or samsung problem?

I think the touchscreen booster app does help with scrolling. Has a more "instantaneous" reaction like my ipad. Also the ipad actually flings the pages slower than the galaxy tab IMHO

I am away from tab but I will be back on friday evening, will do a few more tests then.

Something must be wrong with your phone. Rogue apps? in my own experience and also watching tons of reviews online this phone refuses to lag.

I only feel lag when turn on power saving mode and use touchwiz scroll effect

my is snapdragon ...its crazy i read tons of review and everybody got lag i made clean install of the rom and i never had like this lag...and my phone is new from 2 days i saw 2 more phones and they the same ..same lagg
it cant be it need to be the best fuc......ing phone in the world with the best brain chip so why lag ...

I'd love to see what kind of lags you get.
Is it dropping frames during animations and while scrolling through applications?
Or just delays when opening an application or the recent applications menu?

Probably a troll? because I have not seen one video that showed the Note 4 lagging. And they were trying hard. i watched tons of note 4 reviews lol

don't know if it's troll or not..u can see how many threads he make just to post problems with his note..battery issue, lags everywhere, how to wipe etc..
if he really had that all then maybe it's defective unit i think..he should go to samsung and ask them in there..and compare with the test unit in there..

ok guys thx for helping after stop few thing like shelth and svoice etc that im not use and google search its seems good now ...
now i have a few lags in the apps like viper but im sure its from the app not from my device.
my lag was little bit from the animation when open and close it was little bit lag but its pain in the ass lollll
any way seems to be 80% good now again thx for your help guys ..if you think about anything else i will be glad to know :good:

well..if u think ur device was lag..try to go to samsung store and compare with the test unit in there, and if it's bad then maybe u get defective unit..just change it with new one

I've got the same feeling after switching from note 3. samsung is used to launch highgly unoptimized firmwares with new flagships. we must wait 2-3 firmwares before all things get right. maybe lollypop

In stock change launcher fix it .. but custom rom remain problem in any launcher ....also youtube video there is stop in video less than 1 sec it just a moment when video start or when double click to 10 sec forward ..... How can i assure that my hardware is intact i hate android 1 system

Why do you hate Android one system?It doesn't have to do with any of this. This is probably a rom bug, but i assure you that performance works perfectly for me on stock launcher.

Chrome videos sometimes stop for 2 sec then continue ...youtube that i tell u above .... And launcher lag with fb messanger chat head ... I don't know but cpu work perfect according to cpu z and kernal auditor ... I don't know where ia the problem .... U use 32 gb or 64 !

When i use flyme os i found mo lag in ui with messengar chat head so i suspect android one ui may be the problem I don't know

This is interesting, I was involved in another thread where people were experiencing Scroll lag, I had the idea it might be the screen type as there are two different screen types on the A1 but that did not work out as there was no link between screen type and lag.
The storage size question was never asked on that thread, but what could be the cause? the hardware (except screen) and software should be the same.
My only question would be how much of the 32gb have you used?
The only other possible difference I can think of is if you use an external SD as internal.
The only two things I can think to test would be:
1, Temp clear space (even if you think you have a lot free already)
2, If you have extended your internal with and SD, try changing it so SD is external.
I have 64gb and dont have this but my curious mind is trying to spot the link.

I don't know where is the problem ..... It might be gpu is drop when messenger head is moving coz after 3 sec it work without lag if u swipe up .....
Secondly .... 32 gb version have write hard speed never exceed 150 m/s but 64 version has up to 210 ... The difference is really big i don't know why i face this issue might be developers make rom to global and from this u find problem in 32 version ... Cause stock until 8.0 may patch have no problem but 8.1 have same lag in stock launcher but when use another launcher it work without any lag .... But in cuatom rom all launchers have this issue .
