Streaming to tv with screen off?

So i am streaming my videos with a micro hdmi cable. But when I turn my tab to sleepmode , tv goes blank. Any way around this?

One would think. Not sure if it's a hardware limitation where it must mirror what is being sent to the N10 display, or if it is how the software is handling it (probably fixed easily with an app or added ROM setting in that instance).
Try Root Dim

Modern Combat 4 controls........GRRRR

have any of you had any luck with this game? The gyro is backwards so i cant use it. I plugged in my sixaxis PS3 controller into the dock. most of the buttons works, but i cant look around with the right stick.
So im forced to touch screen with snap aiming help. its ok, but the snapping is very glitchy and sometimes dont snap at all. so i am stuck at one point.
Is there any other option here? I would love to use my sixaxis but i dont want to root quite yet (warranty).
Thanks

[Q] Issue using Sony DS3 and GTA San Andreas

Hi all
I have an ATT version of the Note3 running Android 4.3 on Baseband N900AUCUBNB4 - rooted of course.
I have a Sony Dual Shock 3 controller linked through bluetooth via the Sixaxis Controller app and I'm trying to use the controller to play Grand theft auto San Andreas. So far I've gotten it to work, but there is a massive delay when using any button except for the analogue sticks. I've googled this and searched the forums but can't find any information leading to a resolution. All the buttons work, but there is a big delay in the game.
Anybody know how to resolve this issue?
edit:
Issue also exists with mupen64 application. Controller is brand new and never tested anywhere but on this phone... Also I noticed if I disable the native gamepad option in the sixaxis app there is no lag, but then none of the buttons work...
Anyone? Still can't figure this out. The buttons seem to work okay in the main screens but if I launch any game whatsoever it goes to 3 second delay on any button except analogue stick...

Mojo Controller Dpad not working in the Game Menu

I installed Eternity Warrior from google play and have no control on the menu of the game with dpad. Only select button work which takes it to the first level of the game. Once the game started I can move but after the first level finish I cannot go to the second level since i cannot move the selection with dpad.
To trouble shoot this problem I installed the same game in my nexus player and pair the mojo controller with nexus player and found everything work fine. No issue with the game pad or with the game.
I flashed the mojo with CMOD 12.1 and still see same issue. If you know the fix, please let me know.
thanks

Any way to simulate touch input?

My son wants to play Super Mario run on the shield. Problem is needs you to touch the screen to play the game. I thought just using a mouse would work, but it doesn't.
I was hoping there was some way to simulate a screen touch. I tried downloading a couple remote apps but I haven't found anything that works yet.
Any ideas, Is it even possible?
Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tincore.and.keymapper
I have a Nvidia shield tablet which has a controller mapper built in. Try pressing and holding the start button on the controller.
