I was on every thread that was talking about bricking LG G2 after OTA update and tried every solution, but it's still booting to recovery.
So, here's the thing:
After OTA update, my G2 got into recovery bootloop. I tried to wipe everything, to install new ROMs (CM11, SlimKat, Paranoid), none of them worked. After that flashed TWRP 2.6.3.2 and tried to flash with that - Nothing. Also, I can't get to download mode.
I'm out of solutions and ideas, so every help would be appreciate.

My friend's d802 G2 is stuck in recovery, it wont go into download mode either.
he has stockrom installed and was prompted to install an update which MAY have been an official LG update.
The phone now is stuck in TWRP recovery and he can't boot. he has cynogenmod and stockrom .zip's on his SD Card but installing them and rebooting still doesn't work (with or without wipe).
Is there something he can do to fix the phone? perhaps using ADB from recovery?
Any help much appreciated
May have found the solution in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696

Hello, a few days ago I had a problem after flashing the LG is always reiniciava in recovery and tried to install a rom Kitkat, but I was still too rebooting to recovery, until I found the solution from the terminal recovery and I went back into the phone. With version 4.4.2, and want to do a factory reset, I started in the recovery, but without ROOT! It is a stable recovery? If not, how do I uninstall?
Thank you.
After installing the update every time I try rebooting the phone it reboots into recovery mode and there is nothing to my knowladge that I can do. I saw the solutions for TWRP, but unfortunately I have installed CWM. My phone is only rooted and I haven't flashed any custom ROM.
PLEASE HELP!
lg g2 att rooted with stock ROM
i actually already found a fix here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
but i tried it and it didn't work.
the phone connects fine to my computer and ADB works even though it's in recovery, but after copy/pasting the code i'm still getting the same problem.
i've tried a full wipe, and trying to install an old backup. i've tried installing the stock rooted rom again, still ending up at CWM recovery.
any other options?
Hello everyone and I apologize if there's been a solution to this before but I couldn't find it.
I was on Rooted stock V20F, and there was a new OTA update from LG (around 110 MBs). Before installing anything i made a backup from TWRP Recovery just in case anything went bad.
So after I download the official update, the phone reboots, and boots into TWRP recovery. From that moment, I can't get the phone to boot properly no matter what I do.
I tried restoring my backup, the phone will still boot into TWRP. Tried Factory Reset, Format Data, installing a new custom rom and nothing. It always brings me back to TWRP.
Also when i try to get into download mode so I can flash a KDZ file with flash tool, it boots into TWRP again.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.
edit: I actually found the solution here (it wasn't in the troubleshoot section and I didn't notice it..): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
Is there any way to install official OTA updates without the phone freaking out?
