[Q] stuck in CWM recovery after accidental OTA update - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

lg g2 att rooted with stock ROM
i actually already found a fix here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
but i tried it and it didn't work.
the phone connects fine to my computer and ADB works even though it's in recovery, but after copy/pasting the code i'm still getting the same problem.
i've tried a full wipe, and trying to install an old backup. i've tried installing the stock rooted rom again, still ending up at CWM recovery.
any other options?

[Q] Can´t get into recovery (CWM) via hardware keys - but only via adb-command

Ever since my installation of a wrong firmware on my F320L (Korean variant) a few months ago, I can´t get into stock-recovery any more. At that time I didn´t install CWM or TWRP, nor did I flash any custom ROMs, but something must have broken the recovery along the line. Since then I could never get into recovery mode or use the hard factory reset function, even though after installation of the right firmware for my device, everything else worked fine again. Download mode too is OK.
Now I have recently flashed stock-firmware (F320L 11c), rooted and installed CWM 6.0.4.4.
Interestingly I can´t access CWM via the hardware-keys either, just as the problem before with the stock recovery, but I can get into CWM if I use the adb command to boot into recovery.
But in order to do that the device must be fully functional and bootable, otherwise adb won´t work. I am a bit concerned that if anything happens and I were to soft-brick my device, I wouldn´t get into CWM-recovery any more, since it is not accessible via hardware key-combination, but only over the adb-command.
Anybody got an idea how to solve this issue?

[Q] LG D802 stuck after trying OTA

Hi all,
After holding off on the kitkat bandwagon for a while, I decided once the OTA was available that I should just do it.
Background - this is a D802 european model with root on stock 4.2.2 firmware. I also have TWRP 2.6.3.3 installed.
Prior to proceeding with the update, I made a backup of the phone and rebooted the phone a couple of times to make sure everything was okay.
After that, I then clicked install on the OTA and the phone rebooted. After rebooting it has been constantly going to TWRP. I have tried wipe dalvik, wipe cache, restore backup, restore factory settings, reboot to system but nothing works.
Also, trying to get into download mode just boots into TWRP. When I try to do a adb sideload, the device just shows up on the PC as LG-D802 and no drivers are found for the device so I am not able to install a new firmware or can't try to go back to stock either.
Please help!

[Q] [Help] LG G2 stuck on Recovery Mode.

Hello everyone and I apologize if there's been a solution to this before but I couldn't find it.
I was on Rooted stock V20F, and there was a new OTA update from LG (around 110 MBs). Before installing anything i made a backup from TWRP Recovery just in case anything went bad.
So after I download the official update, the phone reboots, and boots into TWRP recovery. From that moment, I can't get the phone to boot properly no matter what I do.
I tried restoring my backup, the phone will still boot into TWRP. Tried Factory Reset, Format Data, installing a new custom rom and nothing. It always brings me back to TWRP.
Also when i try to get into download mode so I can flash a KDZ file with flash tool, it boots into TWRP again.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.
edit: I actually found the solution here (it wasn't in the troubleshoot section and I didn't notice it..): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
Is there any way to install official OTA updates without the phone freaking out?

[Q] D800 - Stuck on logo / loading apps post-restore

EDIT: Well it's not solved, but in the process of trying to fix it I soft-bricked it so I forced myself to have to tot back to 4.2.2 using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687768 . Now I'm simply trying to get it to OTA back to D80020y (on Cricket... using a prepaid AT&T sim to try and force an OTA... no luck).
I'm sure I'll end up facepalming as I've gotta be missing something simple.
I was running stock D80020y, rooted with a few exposed tweaks - nothing major. I flashed TWRP using Autorec, did a full "nandroid", then proceeded to install Blisspop 3.3 by doing the following steps:
A full wipe
Flashing LP_30d loki'd bootstack (my hunch is this is the problem)
Flashing the rom + gapps
I had lots of issues with it not recognizing my sim card and acting as if I had no service, despite the APN settings looking accurate. So I got back into recovery (had to install/run autorec again as I couldn't get into it from the rom), restored my EFS just in case, then did a full wipe and restored the nandroid - all of it.
The first time it booted up, it went through the update of every app and just hung on "starting apps". I let it go for a good 10 minutes before rebooting and it just hung at the logo prior to full boot. I got back into recovery and restored again, but no luck - it just hangs every time.
Is the bootstack my problem? I REALLY don't want to have to flash back to stock via kdz or tot as I'm on cricket and won't be able to OTA back to D80020y. Any input is appreciated!
