thanks mate but i have already flashed the mk9 official rom and still that pop up persist
i really dont know where that pop up is coming

there is also a pop up showing that "FACTORY MODE IS ON"
what could possibly went wrong?

There's something interesting going on in your phone. You have factory mode enabled, how you did it or what you did to turn it on? This is really interesting.
Edit :
Did you come from a custom ROM or from official Samsung stock.?
you have to read here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703175

i think i made a mistake
as far as i can remember, its running 4.1.2 MC3 custom rom.
then i flashed > Stock_Deodex_Rooted_N7100XXDME6_N7100DBTDME2_N7100XXDME4_DBT
then i flashed > BL_N7100XXUEMJ5_1903221_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5 < so that i can install 4.3 custom rom.
flashed > philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5 < to root
after all those, even if i factory reset the phone, it never came to the usual setting of accounts where we set the language, connect to wifi, samsung accounts, etc.. it just boots up directly to the home screen with a foreign language.. and those pop ups (screen shots) keeps on popping out..
i flashed an official MJ5 rom through ODIN, factory resetted, but still booting it up goes directly to the home screen.
again, flashed official MK9 rom with BL, and still booting it up goes directly to the home screen..
i've messed up the phone..

Wi-Fi won't turn on

Just got a brand new i9505 and the Wi-Fi won't turn on.
When I hit the Wi-Fi toggle it goes on for 1 sec then back off. I have tried a factory reset etc but just can't turn it on. I can't believe it's actually faulty. This is my 2nd faulty S4 out of the box. I brought a i9500 about a month ago and it keeps freezing & rebooting after a minute of use. Unfortunately I can't send that one back as it has a custom Rom & there is no way to reset the counter. I gave up on it and through it in the draw.
I decided to get a new one but went with the i9505 this time. How can I have so much bad luck. Is the S4 that unreliable?

Instead of clicking the wifi toggle, why not try to go into settings and mobile networks
and turn it on there.
Good luck!

I,m using KERNEL][INT'L][AOSP/TW][6/10/2013B] KT-SGS4 - MDM - KTweaker
You can try booting into recovery and clearing the Cache and Dalvik Cache to fix the wifi. It's worked for me and other people on this forum.
i also have the same problem on my S4, basically the wifi wont turn on, i already did flashing firmware, wipe cache and dalvik cache but still the same thing
yeah same here. I've been researchin and flashin almost a month now and nobody seriously nobody could fix this issue. shame. i hate that it happened suddenly and without a warning.
Happened to me also...This is how I fixed it (accidentally of-course ):-
---First mistakenly dirty flashed stock ROM via odin v 10...That was an honest mistake
---Couldn't start my phone due to it...FC messages were appearing again and again...
---went to download mode...directly flashed CF-Auto Root and TWRP from ODIN again...
1) Wiped everything from TWRP
2) Went to download mode and flashed Stock ROM via Odin.
3) WiFi didn't turn on even in Stock ROM (came as a shock to me)
4) went to download mode...directly flashed CF-Auto Root and TWRP from ODIN again
5) Flashed "Doctors-Amputated-V3" and "CWM-Modem-I9500ZCUJOH2_2" via TWRP.
voila !! WiFi working again in the new ROM
Hi mate,
Could you please explain what "Doctors-Amputated-V3" is? A custom ROM?
Basically, I have flashed the stock Samsung image and a previous backup, and still have issues having used PryFi. I'm trying to get my WiFi back to stock and probably flash a kernel or revert to whatever is most compatible, so as to stop my device rebooting...
Could you please recommend a kernel or modem to flash, and then the best kernel or modem to flash afterwards, in order for maximum compatibility. My S4 has always been stock rom, just with Root.
Appreciate your time Prateekgupta!
Cheers,

---Yes its a custom ROM...
---PryFi breaks phone's Wifi every time you use it...I've given up and uninstalled that app....Flash stock rom again through ODIN...
---The process I described didn't solve my problem...My wifi worked only for 20 minutes...After that it went back to grey...
---No software trick can help if your Wifi and Bluetooth both are not working...Its basically the Wifi antenna/IC that needs to be fixed...Its a hardware issue...

[Q] GT-i9500 has no OS installed.

Hi everyone I just recently purchased a used S4 the GT-i9500. Everything seemed fine until I got home. It detected my T-Mobile Sim fine but I could only access 2G data and could not connect to any WiFi network I came across. The rom was stock 4.2.2 and the phone was rooted pre purchase. So after fiddling around for a few minutes I discovered the previous owner had flashed TWRP v2.4.1.0 as his choice for a Custom Recovery. Now at this point I had decided to flash on a Custom Rom and of course I first made a backup before flashing on WanamLite. Now after attempting to flash it I immediately received a failure. I tried turning off the signature verification and it did not flash. Now in my frustration i attempted to wipe everything and tried flashing Omega Rom v14. Now i was able to go through with the installation and choose what I wished to install and when I pressed Install things went along smoothly until I hit the app SecSafetyAssurance.apk where it freezes. This is a bump that I've run into at least 5 times already. I changed certain options I wanted to install and eventually made it past this and I am prompted to reboot. Now when I do this to my dismay I just receive a black screen. Upon pulling out the battery and attempting to reboot I still receive a black screen. when I boot back into the Recovery and attempt to reboot the system from within TWRP it warns me saying No OS Installed Are you sure you want to reboot. Im at a loss of what to do. I have read about other members suggesting to use ODIN but I am very confused about how to access Download Mode in order to flash a stock rom from SamMobile.com. I could use a few tips or maybe a few options that I'm left with in order to obtain the operation of my phone again. I would like to get my phone back and Im sure some users can relate to how Im feeling so any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advanced!

Flashing through odin is one option.... some users have reported that there were some hiccups when installing omega 14 because of the aroma script.....try a different rom...there are many others to choose from....or you could flash stock via odin as said on the earlier comment good luck

Today I attempted to use ODIN to flash now I am still currently attempting this. When I press the volume down key, power, and home button it takes me to the custom recovery TWRP instead of download mode. The phone did this when I first purchased it. When I still had what appeared to be the stock rom it would always take me to the recovery. When I would use the volume up instead of down it would take me to the factory test mode now mind you this happened when the OS was still installed. When i try that combination now i just receive a blank black screen. Are there any other ways to boot into download mode?

Stock Everything

What I want to do is install a stock non rooted rom, kernel, and recovery. I am not sure how to change recovery to stock either is it like flashing a rom? Please give me some links for these I can't seem to find them, besides the stock kernel I found that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The reason I want the above is bellow, if it matters.-----------------------------------------------------
My phone is about 95% broken.
Before, every rom/kernel combination would randomly restart, it was my phone it self I believe.
I went to a stock rooted rom, but then it restarted, and my lock screen worked, yet my home screen was black all i could do was slide my status bar down.
After that i restarted my self and then it got stock forever on the screen where it says Samsung galaxy s4.
The 5% working part is my recovery, for the most part.
I keep having to do a full wipe, not just system wipe otherwise it says error unable to mount preload or i/o or a few other things, I have to system wipe before every rom attempt.
I tried several popular roms such as sacs and triforce and a few other roms and all the kernels also.
The phone will turn on, work for a little normally, then crash again and go into the infinite loading screen where is simply says galaxy s4.
This phone is only 3 months old, so I want to take it back to sprint being completely stock so they give me a new phone.
I need links to files I need, and if i am forgetting to change anything back to stock please let me know. Thank you.
I replied to you in the newbie thread, but to return to complete stock download the latest firmware from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and install it with odin. Do a factory reset before and after install to make sure you have cleared out what ever is causing your problems. After this process you will be completely stock and unrooted. If you are still having problems after this it is probably hardware related.

Please help! Stuck on boot screen

I left my phone charging overnight as I have done many times with no issue. When I woke up I pressed the home button and the only thing that shows was my wallpaper. Wouldn't show anything else. I then did a battery pull. It now gets stuck at the note 4 powered by android screen. A little history in case it helps. This is an unlocked at&t model that I am using on t-mobile. It's not rooted or anything. A few weeks ago I downloaded the recent 5.0.1 small update. In the past week a notification keeps appearing and disappearing from the menu. It was dm software download or something which would disappear if I clicked it.
So it's stuck on the boot screen today. I booted in to the recovery screen. It starts by saying "installing system update" with the little android. Then it goes to recovery menu. At the bottom it says "dm-verity verification failed". I tried to wipe cache and reboot but it still gets stuck at the boot screen. Another small detail is after turning phone off if I plug it in the charger it stays at the grey lighting screen and does not show any battery percentage.
I don't know what to do. I really need my phone today as I am traveling. I hope someone can please help me. Thank you.
In the case u tried recovery now u should flash ur stock rom.
How do I flash the stock rom? Should I do that before trying a factory wipe/reset? I haven't tried that because I really dont want to erase everything unless I have to.
When u do the flashing everything in your device will be lost. So if u do the flashing then u just need to backup all your data.
---------- Post added at 01:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:02 PM ----------
First u have to download your stock rom
Anyone else have any ideas? I really have no clue how to flash the stock rom. Is there a guide I can follow? Thanks
Just google your device name flashing

I would suggest you start download stock as already mentioned by previous mentor
Than try to make a factory reset from recovery while stock is downloading. In case factory reset all your apps and settings will be gone but your data stay untouched.
If positive with factory reset no need to flash stock anymore
I just tried doing factory reset/date wipe and it's still getting stuck at the boot screen. I guess I need help now to flash the stock rom. Again I have never done this so I appreciate it if someone has or could find a simple guide for me. I just don't want to download the wrong file and mess phone up even more. It's an at&t model SM-N910A. Thanks again
How long did you wait after wiping? For lollipop its normal after wiping to see nothing but Samsung boot up logo up to 20 minutes
In response to above. It did the date wipe/reset which did it in like 5 seconds. I rebooted and left it on the boot screen for about 3 minutes. I should wait longer then? Another thing I was going through kies to see if anything could help. I ended starting a firmware upgrade. I entered my model # and S/N#. It then asked me to go to recovery and made it to a screen with an android, "downloading do not turn off target". That's loading now and i'll see what happens. I also checked on google and it looks like there is a program called odin that will flash the stock rom. I need to find that program and also find the stock rom file to download?
Yep. Google for Odin, download and extract it on your PC. You'll need to download a stock firmware from Sammobile for your device. It will be as Archiv so extract it. In Odin click on AP and choose extracted file.
Another update. The firmware upgrade through kies went through fine. It booted up like normal afterwards. I didn't know it would happen but I am back to kit kat 4.4.4 as well. I wasn't too thrilled with lollipop so maybe that isn't a bad thing.

G900F - Can't use the screen after installing a custom rom.

Hey guys,
the phone:
Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F
Last official firmware:
G900FXXU1POJ2 (VD2) 5.0 Germany
I flashed TWRP via Odin
Then SuperSU via ODIN
Then installed a custom recovery.
After full install and reboot it hangs on the first screen and I cannot touch it. It won't do anything. Reboots, deleting cache won't help.
Do you know what I did wrong or why I can't use my phone anymore?

I installed a freshly new official stock rom, it'll boot but won't go any further and bootloops.
Then I tried a CM - ROM and it's the same with another rom. The touchscreen doesn't work. But the touch works on TWRP. That's really weird.
It freezes, the LED is always on and the softbuttons too.
ask you if you have this problem before root
lol twrp is costume recovery and just flash twrp and applied the supersu.zip and its done phone rooted
but if you have problem after touch think
1- you don't flash the true cm ( klte is for 900F )
2- your touch panel is damaged
3- for your original stock rom ( lag ) ty to wipe data and cache ( attention you will lose your data with )

- I was on official vodafone germany firmware.
- Phone told me to get the last update
- Phone installed last update
- After installation phone was bootloopin
- I did hard reset
- Phone booted up until it said, that it is installing a few applications (you know what I mean)
- While installing progress of that it restarted and installed and restarted and so on..
So I decided to get a custom rom.
- I flashed TWRP for KFTL (I have SM-G900F) via ODIN.
- Everything works fine.
- I flashed Chainfires SuperSU via ODIN.
- Everything works fine.
- I installed a custom ROM (eg: The Galaxy Project)
- It booted and then freezes.
So after that I was afraid and flashed a stock rom via Odin but it was the same with the official OTA-update from Samsung. Reboots while installing first apps.
Then I tried with CM but it freezes too. I am sure it has nothing to do with the screen.
On official (stock) ROMs it reboots while installing first apps.
On custom ROMs it freezes. It won't go any further. It must be something else. Any ideas?
BTW: I have another SM-G900F and it works flawlessly. I know that I am doing.
what y mean freeze the phone or just touch ( but bottom work like vol )
if only touch think is damaged

Hm. If you boot up your phone for the first time or after hard reset or after an update it boots up and then there comes the very first message that android is preparing the apps for the first start, right? On official firmware it bootloops when that message comes.
On CyanogenMod it boots until this Screen:
And then it freezes.
I can't believe that it has to be the touch panel, because everything works fine in TWRP. The phone won't let me go any further than the first Screen. And the touch can't be damaged. Before I did the official Samsung update everything works fine.
