What did you do that you think you need a pit file?
No matter what i try to flash to my phone it seems to mess up on /system so Im making the assumption my pit is pooched. AKA a bad flash or something gone horribly wrong
PIT IS looking like my last hope in this long sad battle that makes me want to hurl my s4 off the moon
when i luck into getting into recovery it fails to mount system

There's a pit in the development forum, but I don't think it's going to work.

r u sure about that we cant use SM910F 32GB PIT file on SM910G 32GB
I think both are same storage capacity.
& all pit file has to do is to divide the memory
Well , I have not flashed PIT File till now so I m not sure about that
I m just asking?
---------- Post added at 01:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:08 AM ----------
Nope.I think PIT files are different for each device even if they have same memory

I'm not stating the following in a negative way to contradict what @bbsc provided. This is only another option for obtaining the pit file.
The following link from sammobile has all the pit files for the G900 devices and also reflects a handful of G900I variants too.
https://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30119
Good Luck!

Hi,
Are you sure "all the pit files"?
I don't see the one for SM-G900F XEO.
Just kidding, I don't need any
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Labs
The best way is to download service firmware and extract the pit-file.

Do you know where to get the service firmware from?
I am going to extract pit file from my phone and I am curious if it would be the same as the one extracted from the service firmware ...

Yes, of course. From Samsung's servers via Samfirm tool.
The pit-file should be the same, I believe.

Thanks but it looks (as OP states) like deprecated and will rather not work for S5 MM. Somebody tried already for s5 and it didn't work but I will give it a try.

It stopped working for some variants (say, G900V) but mostly it works.

Checked and it worked but I got for my phone a zip file where only one tar.md5 file was included - the same like I would get from Sammobile and no PIT file inside.

I must have missed that. Thanks! It did the trick.
So having now two PIT files for my phone (SM-G900F/XEO): one extracted from original Sammy service firmware and the second one which I extracted from my phone via adb command line, I was able to do a small experiment - compared both files using PIT Magic.
The result was as expected -> both PIT files are identical
