[Q] LG Optimus L3 bricked.

Problem:
*Phone stuck in Lg and non stop white screen then restart(is it a bootloop?).
*Cant access recovery mode but can access emergency mode only.
*Phone doesn't recognize in computer when in emergency mode but you can hear a sound that your phone is connecting.
Solutions Tried:
*tried only kdz updater to flash to stock firmware but only gets a wpram 100 and Ipram 6 upgrade error.
*tried to restart or uninstall and install again but still get an error.
Phone
*LG Optimus L3 rooted.
*Cyanogenmod 9
*Sd merge
Hope to help me and gave any possible solutions

Download LG update tool. Choose emergency option. Tot will need to enter north imei and serial before the update starts

have you experienced this king of problem??
i will try this..i'll let you know as soon as possible.

windows enabler is included open it and then make sure its ON (in notification area click on it and it will say "on" on the icon) then you can click on anything there

i dont see lg virtual modem, I only see the "Lg androidnet usb modem"..

This "Lg androidnet usb modem" may cause many problems when flashing roms (with all LG phones that I repaired anyway ).
EDIT: Some problems like this "but when im in 99% my phone restart and goes to lg log then turn white screen and restart at lg logo again.. until my upadate say error because my phone has disconnected".

Try using windows xp. I had the same problem when I was using windows 7.

i've already remove it.
when i tried factory rest volume down + home +power button.. im stuck in LG LoGO..
im using windows 7.. is there a problem when using windows 7?

Try to disable it then retry to flash your phone. If doesn't works, you can enable it by the same way.

i've tried it in kdz updater.. and its not working too.. but im not yet using this in lg rdtt.. maybe i will try it and will give you response

LG L3-E400 boot/brick problem

Hello i'm new to forum and need help for LG L3-E400 bricked phone.I had installed some 4.42 version ROM , after that i installed 4.04 stable (i forgot name) and it worked well while i had installed sa andreas and some games , and tried to expand his memory to 16 gb ( From video on youtube) and messed up with kernel (processor MHz-s).
I have tried many times with KDZ way , downloaded Europe firmware because i'm from Bosnia and from main site there is no firmware for Bosnia , tried flashing (3GQVCT-DIAG) , goes to 99% and got error Wparam 100 Lparam 6 , phone reboots and same thing happens LG LOGO / WHITESCREEN LG LOGO / WHITESCREEN. (EMERGENCY MODE WORKS)
I have installed LG mobile united drivers , some LGE AndroidNET modem drivers but my main drivers (Mass storage / LG USB E400) wont install because my phone always reboots. My device manager is always refreshed , tried also LG PC Suite but it dont recognize it ,LG Support Tool , also gets Error while upgrading.
Tried something like Offline KDZ but it wont do it or i have done something wrong (same error repeats Wparam 100 Lparam 6) , i had heard something about ADB but dont know how to use it.Tried also HARD RESET but its stuck in LG LOGO
So if someone knows how to repair pls tell me i'm desperate (

Do you have you device's details (the ones who are under settings --> about phone) like model number, baseband version, kernel version, build date and build number?
(I know that you can't access that menu, but maybe you wrote it somewhere?)

I think it'll be a good idea to remove everything you installed, and install only the latest official drivers from here. (You might want to change the region in the bottom of this page)
Please also verify that your KDZ-Flasher is version 1.0.4.4 or later (if there is a newer version).
If not, download it from here.

I always have this error. I think until Wparam 200 if I remember right (yeah - 100 error lines!).
I just wait until it's finished, and then let the magic happen - the phone reboots to my stock version, and the KDZ application is crashing (but it's okay...).

Just be as clear as possible, and provide as much information as you can so we'll be able o help you in the best way.
BTW, because I don't have this device anymore, I give you what I can from my memory and from what I have in my computer.
Nevertheless, I'll do my best to help you out.

I have tried again but fail , recorded a video of updating so it will be on youtube that u can watch what happens,today will upload.

Are you now only with the newest drivers from the link I gave you?
Do you have any exclamation mark in the device manager?
Did you try using another USB port (preferably one that is connected to your motherboard and not to your chassis)?

Will try this firmware now , drivers installed froom your links , tried 2 USB ports as i have them , in device manager just refreshes , rare using direct connection with case , because i have a USB cable extension , so its easily to connect
Tried first time and when he going to reboot , i went to device manager and its one exclamation mark.WHen he refreshes mark is in Storage volumes/Generic volume
There are 2 generic volumes and when phone reboots , third one is blinking with mark as phone restarts fast.
is there any way to install recovery or custom kernel maybe it is the problem ??

I didn't understand if you're connecting your phone directly to your motherboard without any cable extension.
If you don't - please do.
Then please enter emergency mode, and only then look on the device manager.
What do you see? Is everything okay, or you're having an exclamation / question mark?
If everything is okay, only then continue to flash the stock firmware.

How do u mean motherboard , in USB port , i have them 2 in behind of case ?

considering device manager is ok now you can skip removing anything related to lg, if not do so and download lg mobile support tool
1 plug phone in normal (lg) mode
2 run lg mobile support tool
3 select recovery upgrade from options in top right
4 type your imei to according box (*#06# to get it)
and start upgrade
it will download the newest available kdz for your model and flash it
and even if you get error near the end it should give you your phone back like from factory
you might need to repeat process couple of times but it WILL work

The drivers are okay, the software is okay, the stock firmware is okay - so it's only your phone / your cable / your computer.
The next thing is to try to connect your phone with another cable, or the same cable to another computer.

@Stella Rossa did you try booting in safe mode i belive its same as e430 UP+DOWN+HOME (full boot) POWER (6 sec.)
otherwise if no access to what he said you google resetting all usb ports in your system it helped me once with bad flashes

[Q] LG D802 download mode

my Lg D802 is running on Android 4.2.2 and rooted and have TWRP
i have received an update 4.4.2 from LG but when it reboot to install the update it goes to TWRP
i cannot go to download mode when i press Volume up and power it goes to TWRP mode
what i can do ? please help me

Have you tried to see if the LG pc suite recognises it?..and have you tried rebooting from TWRP with the suit running?
You are definitely not the first person to have this problem as I have seen it many times on here. As for the solution, a search on here will help you as there is one but I haven't time to search myself at the moment.

You have to install a rom first.

Search for instructions for sideloading a rom to your device (any rom that is suitable for your device) then flash it with TWRP. Once you get it booted, you can install the kitkat that you where offered using the LG pc suite.

STUCK at LG Logo, NO Download mode..Please HELP!!

PHONE Stuck at LG Logo after power up.
NO Download Mode,
here goes..
Believed I was conned... and this could be what happened to my LG G2 'D802':
my mobile is actually a D801 phone (motherboard) NOT D802 but loaded with D802 ROM
Phone was flashed (by me) with D802 ROM to remove error "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" caused by corrupted Build.Prop system file during some editing.
touch screen error after new ROM was flashed (tried many diff roms), likely due to incompatible phone settings.
unable to flash D801 kdz since the phone was configured to 'D802', incorrect model detected while trying to flash.
managed to get a D801 TOT file that can resolved the incompatible model issue
Flash completed, phone rebooted..STUCKED at LG LOGO!
pressed Vol+ and USB cable, cannot enter download mode...stucked..
Factory reset using hardware keys, same problem..
please help ! any suggestion/s would be greatly appreciated!! thank you!!

use flashtool with another *dll

His download mode is not functional.
When in factory reset - connect to pc(does it throw errors or add a new device?)
If yes..then - read this
If no then still read it.

When connect to pc at 'Factory hard reset mode' screen (vol- and pwr pressed, letgo and pressed)..nothing happens on either PC or Mobile..
After Hard reset, phone continue stuck at LG LOGO.. PC detected mobile as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM41)", see attached.
I have tried the method in the link above but the PC seems cannot detect phone during cmd "ls /dev/sd*" and "gdisk -l /dev/sdb" .

Anyway, when you let the phone continue to boot, what happend? lot of force close?
Edit : Antoher solution : have you tried to use the official LG Support tool? I did once when my device was completely f****ed up and it restored it by itself!

Just plug your cable to usb. Turn off phone and inmediately hold the button up and ull be in download mode.
Or If U have 801 rom try to root your phone and do recovery as 801 phone, after flash 802 rom !

the screenshot stays forever (trying to get into download mode) and did not enter the actual download screen.
if continue to boot, the phone will just hang at LG Logo.

LG Support tool was unable to detect my phone..

I did this but phone just stays at the 2nd screenshot...
before it was bricked, I have no problem get it into download mode with vol+ and usb cable.

Wait so what can you do? Hard reset? Download mode? Nothing?
Can you plug your phone and check that your phone is not detected in device manager?
All the drivers are installed?

I am having the same exact issue as TEDET123. !!! installed ubunto in one of my PC, tried the same procedure as explain at
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142&highlight=even+disconnect+lg+phone.
the ubuntu doesn't show any SDB !! need help!!! went to the famous lg software guy in my town. He said MMC chip needs to be replaced ! I knw he doesn;'t have its solution and trying to demotivate me thats it! I knw there must be a solution to this issue!

I would try to force the phone into qhsusb mode then flash only laf.img,aboot.img and boot.img
In qhsub mode you should be able to see the SDB partition

Hello there. I think I've made something stupid, but dunno what.
Now I've a G2 with firmware update screen. But it doesn't say download mode at the beginning. vol+ and power throws me straight to the firmware mode. vol- and power (factory reset thing) does the same. No download mode, straight to the firmware. And also, my pc doesnt recognise the phone. Here's what I've done so far;
FLASH TOOL
I've downloaded and installed lg drivers, lots of them. (uninstalled and restarted my pc every time) My lg usb serial port with com41 is working but LGE Android MTP Device had yellow exclamation mark, always. Nonetheless I've tried. Changed the dlls, downloaded the correct tot file, changed the port to 41, replug the usb. Returns with 1 sec error, crossdl {rectangle} to D802 bla bla. No luck
LG MOBİLE SUPPORT TOOL
Found my phone. It said I've already latest software. (D802TR30C) I tried to upgrade recovery from the tool. Downloaded my software but it couldn' install to my phone because of unknown error. So, No luck again
LG FLASH TOOL 2014
I've downloaded the correct KDZ's. Installed my drivers. Started program with admin rights. Selected kdz and CSE flash. And then Start. Always stopped at %4 because of usb connection lost. No luck again and again
NOW I'M OUT OF IDEAS AN OPTIONS. PLEASE SOMEONE, HELP FOR GOD'S SAKE.

I too similar problems but then this steps resolved it
