Hi Guys
im looking for a 4.3 modem?
Since upgrading my ROM i keep loosing data signal when my phone locks, apparently this is due to me still having a 4.2.2 modem. Icannot find a modem for 4.3.
Can anyone help please????????????

Ah, afaik MK/ML modems don't change much if anything :| -- Generally the Note 3 is bad for signal quality

Well, I don't have any signal issues. It's just that when I am not on LTE or wifi, my location is incorrect...
I tried downgrading the whole firmware and only the modem to releases I already had on my pc but no luck.
I see from another post that you downgraded from MK2 to MJ7
I might give it a try... need to download it first !

Location isn't too great either on the Note, all the custom roms have a GPS fix on them. Even on this new KK build I cannot get my location for the weather app. Yeah MK/ML weren't big updates and MJ7 is/was deemed a safe fall back option it seems.
Ahhhh I had some few touchwiz crash on MJ3 but my location was always correct. I upgraded thinking this might correct but now bad location I miss my note 2 ! And with all those bootloaders knox stories I might not get into a note 4 if there is one someday...

Hello,
unsure what to do.
I flashed Omega v21, followed the instructions.
The problem now, no signal from carrier.
Sometimes it connects, then few seconds later it disconnects automatically.
Modem & Bootloader. I9505XXUFNA5
What could the problem be?

Well thank you for answering, I had signal for 30 seconds then the phone go to sleep-mode. I wake it up and lost signal again.
What logs can I provide to research this?

Hi,
I'm a complete noob to the Samsung modding scene and have a couple questions, I've had a look around and just feel overwhelmed by the information and still my question is unanswered (My fault) I hope someone can just give me a few examples of ROMs for the S4 I905 XXUDMH8 that will allow me to use LTE all the time. I currently have the Echoe rom installed but I can't get LTE to work it turns off when the screen goes to sleep. So ideally I would like to install a new ROM that will allow me to use my phone's full functionality with the hassle of turning on LTE every time I'm out and about and need a fast internet connection.
Any help would appreciated.
Thanks.

You need to give more information than that mate. What version of echo rom? 4.3 or 4.4.2? In order to fix this issue you need to flash a 4.3 modem so that when your Phone goes to sleep the signal wont drop or dial *#1234# and write it down here

it 100% fixed the issue. So again, thanks a lot! I had to use odin 3.04 and flash twice to get it to work but it worked so i'f anyone has the same issue try . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025 for info on flashing a modem.
Anyone who can make me a flashable zip of NK1 modem for N900L or guide me in the right direction? I flashed an old version of Modem on my Note 3 (Korean Version) and now cant get any signals. I tried a couple of Korean sites but could not understand the language. google translate is not much helping either and now I am stuck with an expensive video player only . I tried to odine flash modem file for N9005 (having the same hardware features) but always end up with a "fail" message during writing.
Any help please??

I found the latest firmware for your device. You only have to reflash via ODIN. It will help you maybe: HERE. It's always better than only a modem.

Cant I just flash NK1 modem for another variant like N9005? I am asking this because I saw a guy who had NK1 modem installed and was working fine on my network. I did ask him but he told me it was installed when he got the phone of the local market. the phone was running on a custom rom (Omega v13). I checked the Omega thread but It does not have modem file that means the modem file was separately flashed. I tried flashing N9005 Modem (NK1 has been released for that model) via odin but always end up with a write error. Is there any way around or can i flash it via recovery?

Make a factory reset -> Go to Settings > Backup & Restore and have a good read. You'll see your stock backup and restore options from Google but I highly recommend using another backup option on top of these (you can find more options in the link at the bottom of the ''Backup first'' section above). You simply tap the Factory Data Reset option and read the warning text, then hit ''Reset Device'' once you're ready. Your device will reboot and wipe itself clean. If only the dirty dishes were that easy.

I think is a clone coz the build N900DDUEBOB1 don't exist on the official firmware releases. You can:
1. Install this APP.
2. Go to MENU and select REFURBISHMENT CHECK.
3. It will tell you if is a clone or original.

Be relaxed coz you can flash what I was telling you without issues. Your PDA is different coz you or other person tried to flash other firmware different (I supose the firmware with the CSC: INU (India) that use N900XXUEBOD1). But your CSC is INS. The root process don't work coz your device have different PDA, Baseband and CSC and only you can solve it matching them with the process exposed above.
