no. stop asking. you've been told several different times in this thread now that, if you're on MF3, you cant do much right now without bricking your device or making things hard on yourself in general.
wait for an exploit and read up until then.
Whoa watch ur tone I understand wat I was told in my thread it was jus a little hard to believe that there was such an issur with exact same firmware for identical devices
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
It's hard for you to believe because you don't search up on and/or read anything. Don't tell me to watch my tone. I don't care what you think or how your little heart feels. I simply am trying to keep you from bricking your device. Maybe it's about time you gave as much of a $h*t about your device as i do. I'm here to help. Don't get offended. Cheers
Lnao buddy listn here let me started over I asked the question s because on the 3 u can because the hardware is identical I reoeated myself because u felt I may have been unclear and missunderstood and I am no noob I searched and whst I found I wasnt clear on because it didnt specifically answer the question I felt I was askin ergo the reason for the thread and blno my feeling werent hurt the fact is u dnt dnt talk to ppl jus anykind of way because they go on your nerves u could have ignored me and left me hanging btw I do appreciate the help

I rooted MF3 and all I have is root, is there anyway I can return back to stick with complete restore? If not, I can just back everything up. I will do it no matter what. My phone is working just fine, just wanted to go back to stock?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
If you mean unroot, then you unfortunately cannot do that at the moment. There is no MF3 factory image to flash back to, as of now at least.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-i337) via Tapatalk 4
What do you mean, back to stock? The way it came out of the box? The way it is now unrooted? Not sure what you want to do. And how are you backing it up?
Apps don't matter to me. I can send all my pictures and text messages etc. To the computer. I mean unroot, sorry. But since there isn't any, I will just have to wait it out. Thanks for the information.

It's probable that you can unroot. Do you have super su? You can do an unroot in settings within it.

I've never tried it with mf3 so I can't answer that. It works on other firmware. Why do you want to unroot?
Because, I've always had bad luck with root and everything never works for me when I try it. Once a stable rom comes out, I will try my luck, but not at this moment.

Good choice. Sorry I can't be of more help
I don't think just rooting is going to cause issues. Keep it and enjoy those benefits for now.
My BackUp Pro is good for backing up most things on phone. Of course you got Titanium BackUp too.
I didn't even want to flash roms on this phone. After years of doing it I was getting tired. But, did it anyway. I like TW, so don't care about aosp etc. All I really gained from flashing was some theming and nandroids. Phone, I thought, was exceptional even unrooted.
There is now stock available which was taken from Samsung Kies. Just download the file and you'll be able to flash it in odin!

I think you just have to install the MDC modem not the entire firmware. Go to the all sprint firmware post and install the mdc modem. Follow the unlocking steps and then you can go back to the MK2 modem after unlock.

As of now you can't downgrade the modem on mk2 or mja if you took an OTA update to get there. If you flashed your way there and kept mf9 you can downgrade easily.

If anything goes wrong with a bootloader flash the chance of a recoverable device are in the toilet...
Roms are generally fairly easy to reflash and so to can be recoveries if something goes wrong.
Bootloaders are the 1 thing you don't play with if you don't need to....
Who cares what the bootloader is anyway, as long as the device works which is why you needed to flash them to use Kitkat....
If you decide to go through with updating the bootloader then make DAMN sure the flash file isn't corrupt or you have any problems with the flash. Should be quick but truly those few seconds are a heart stopper, especially if it comes up fail in ODIN....
I have a lovely Samsung galaxy tab 7" paperweight to attest to this....
I have acquired an S4 i337 from At&t, it's on the MF3 4.2.2, i have used towel root to root it and installed safestrap as well...
i wanted to upgrade to 4.4, should i just odin the firmware onto it by putting it into download mode? which 4.4 is best for it in terms of stability and stuff...? i think only stock touchwiz is recommended since i don't know whether it's bootloader is locked or not...
second
can i root the 4.4 through towel root easily or is there a problem with it... which in your opinion is the best for the i337? I won't be able to downgrade again yeah?
I would flash the nb1 tar file in Odin and then go from there. You can root everything including oc3. Read through this and you'll find ask your answers, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53758227

Yes you can with Odin, but do your know the bootloader version of 4.2.2 you're on? If you're on mdb or mdl you probably don't want to update. On 4.2.2 you can use twrp or cwm custom recoveries and flash any roms your want. Once you're on 4.4.4 you'll be limited.
