Unfortunately Phone Has Stopped - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I did a full wipe and fresh install now whenever the phone boots up I'm getting the toast message "Unfortunately Phone Has stopped" Any clues I've tried to wipe and flash a couple of times and I'm getting the same. BTW I didn't do a Nandroid backup this time.

[Q] "Unfortunately, Phone has stopped" after TB restore

So I upgraded ROM (factory reset, etc), and started restoring using Titanium Backup.
Edit: It was an old Carbon ROM 4.3 to the new CarbonROM 4.4 nightly. I also used the newest PA Gapps
Here's what happened:
Chose "Restore all app with data"
Chose "Let me choose myself!"
Clicked on "Deselect all"
Then, I chose only the green and yellow colored app data, as well as all my missing apps
I started the Restore process...
At 92% completion, it remained stuck at "phone/messaging storage"
I waited 30 minutes and it was still there.
For some reason, I rebooted my phone.
Then I keep getting this message: "Unfortunately, Phone has stopped"
When I press okay, 2 seconds later it pops up again. Every time I press Okay, it pops up immediately after. Very frustrating....
I have also noticed now I no longer have phone signal either....What can I do?
Factory reset will fix. Phone data is not gonna be compatible between kitkat and other roms as the dialler is different.

Unfortunately mtp application has stopped s5 on boot no UI.

After i tried
http://download.chainfire.eu/397/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip
on lollipop on vodafone uk, i got this error message on boot, i press ok and after reboot i got no root
Then i install superuser through twrp that i previously had and keep getting this error message on boot.
The thing is i cant get past it, its covering the whole screen no operating system ui just that in a white box and a press ok, which doesnt work until after 2 minutes.
EDIT: its just constantly saying programs has stopped responding in a loop and cant get into android system. How do i fix this, i tried fixing permission in recovery but that didnt work.
So what i can do without losing all my work on my phone.
I hope you made a backup before flashing root files
Boot into recovery, clear CACHES, reboot - see how you get on with that
If you flashed CF Auto Root, there was no need to flash SuperSU, as it comes part of CF Auto root, someone else just did that and ended up in a boot loop, had to wipe the phone and flash a stock ROM
Thats the thing i didnt, i watched a video saying it wouldnt delete your files rooting and decided not to backup.
I was stuck on samsung logo half the time and other times stick with "unfortunately MTP application has stopped." in a big white box blocking me getting into android.
I tried fix permission, clear cache and delvin cache and nothing worked.
I just system wiped and got in but lost all my work.
Fortunately Google backed up most of my photos and videos and contacts but no sms messages.
Now i gotta get all my apps back on my device and get it back to how it was and hopefully i did not mess any important texts.
Note to self: Always backup.
EDIT: i just had gaaps not working and giving server error, after trying out ways to fix that i tried all the normal stop app and clear cache, and then did fix permission in twrp, and after doing "also fix SELinux contexts" it messed me over and got me back to that white box.
so another note to self not to use "Fix SELinux contexts" as that messed up my system after getting 30 apps back installed.

[Q] Attempting to restore using a backup now working

So last night I decided to try our CyanogenMod 12 on my Spring Galaxy S5, so like always I made a backup of my rom/settings using clockworkmodrecovery and when I went to flash/restore to my old rom and settings because I wanted to go back, when I do it restores my phone but as soon as I get in I get MULTIPLE popups saying "Unfortunately, Beep' n Go has stopped working", "Unfortunately, Swiftkey has stopped working" , "Unfortunately, Hangouts stopped working" ect ect so much so that I cannot do anything on my phone. Anyone know a fix for this?
Almost the same thing here on International variant, G900F. On my case even the phone doesn't boot up, stock rom BOC7, after restoring it.
It stucks on the kernel splash forever.
I'm going to flash the rom in Odin over the restordd one, just in case.
Mine seems to restore just fine but I just keep getting none stop popups saying this and that app has crashed. And I have no idea how to fix it.
Same as me while restoring my NANDROID and flashing my BOA2 stock rom. FCs all the time.
Solved with a simple factory reset. Now it runs as it should

Please Help! BOOST 306SH In the boot screen to Stopped

I have a 306sh and got it fully rooted with TWRP installed. Today i was messing around in rom toolbox and disabled tthe following: Phone, Phone Storage, And Messaging because i currently don't have the phone activated. After a reboot I am faced with a never ending stream of pop ups "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" and "Unfortunately, Phone has stopped".And then I do wipe data/factory resetwipe cache partition. But unfortunately, stay in the boot screen, enter the system failure. Thank you all in advance.

SM-N910C treltexx "app stopped" even after factory reset and new ROM

Hello there,
i have a problem with the Note 4 (treltexx/N910C) of my girlfriend. Yesterday the phone started closing apps with "Unfortunately <app> has stopped" error messages. My first solution was to clear the phone cache, clear cache/data of both play store and play services and reset app preferences, which didn't help. Next, i wiped the cache partition using the (stock) recovery - didn't help.
So i backed up her data and did a factory reset (using stock recovery). Result: "Unfortunately <app> has stopped" errors already during the initial setup of the (factory reset) default ROM.
At this point i decided i had enough, so i flashed TWRP with ODIN, did a complete Advanced Wipe (everything but the sd card) and installed a 6.0.1 Custom ROM (NEMESIS REFINED V3.8.5). Result: ROM runs fine, same "Unfortunately <app> has stopped" errors... grrrr..
Next try: maybe going from 6.0.1 marshmallow (stock/Nemesis) to a 7.1.2 Nougat ROM (LineageOS 14.1 Unofficial for treltexx/910C by dl12345) will help. Result: ROM runs fine, same "Unfortunately <app> has stopped" errors...
That's where i am now. As far as i can tell, i have replaced all software-related elements on the phone that could cause this problem. Does this mean the errors are the result of a hardware fault, like a damaged memory segment or similar?
Thanks!
