So last night I decided to try our CyanogenMod 12 on my Spring Galaxy S5, so like always I made a backup of my rom/settings using clockworkmodrecovery and when I went to flash/restore to my old rom and settings because I wanted to go back, when I do it restores my phone but as soon as I get in I get MULTIPLE popups saying "Unfortunately, Beep' n Go has stopped working", "Unfortunately, Swiftkey has stopped working" , "Unfortunately, Hangouts stopped working" ect ect so much so that I cannot do anything on my phone. Anyone know a fix for this?
Almost the same thing here on International variant, G900F. On my case even the phone doesn't boot up, stock rom BOC7, after restoring it.
It stucks on the kernel splash forever.
I'm going to flash the rom in Odin over the restordd one, just in case.
Mine seems to restore just fine but I just keep getting none stop popups saying this and that app has crashed. And I have no idea how to fix it.
Same as me while restoring my NANDROID and flashing my BOA2 stock rom. FCs all the time.
Solved with a simple factory reset. Now it runs as it should

"Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" error message on boot
Hey guys,
After flashing the 4.4.2 firmware to my Note 3, I get the following error message once the device turns on: "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped". I can just click ok and the message goes away but it shouldn't be appearing in the first place so does anyone know how to make it go away?
Thanks!

Only known solution I have on these issues is a factory reset. I don't think there's another way of fixing it. It is always recommended to do a factory reset before flashing a new ROM.
Hope this helps

I will give it a try see if it works.
I've tried resetting the phone but the message still appears. I've also tried tr-flashing the rom and that hasn't worked either. What else could it be?
I had this error message the first and the second time I booted my phone when I got it. I haven't seen it since then!
I have Hangouts, messages and S Voice disabled. Not sure if it has something to do with those apps...
Same issue...I have tried all full wipe, full reset, stock 4.4.2, leak, but still have that problem
I had the same issue. I did go to recovery and format everything in internal memory. Then, installed Kitkat from PC Odin...

Had the exactly same issue, I did a factory reset and it worked.
On similar problems with upgrades on both the S4 and S3 this have helped:
Go to phone settings-->More, then select Date and Time. Change the date format to something else then change it back to the format you wanted. Save and go back.
I have no idea if this will help on this problem but it might be a thing to try instead of a factoryreset
same problem here
I believe messing around with cheat droid messed up my phone, and I can't find a solution.

I've a Samsung galaxy exhibit t599n also got scanned by odin pro but can't post the results...
This error is usually linked to Facebook contact sync...
Does it also occur after a full wipe without installing/restoring any apps, accounts or contacts?
Also, test a different SIM, it might be malfunctioning.

i tried updating to an rooted kitkat version as we as get the Native hotspot going for my Sprint GS4.. however i did something wrong and now. i keep getting pop ups stating "unfortunately, SAE has stopped as well as many other programs.. how can i get this fixed.. i have tried factory reset, and to return to an stock firmware, but i cant get odin to pass. it keeps failing.. I have downloaded all the necessary stock firmware files, drivers etc.. . I can get a recovery to flash,, but the pop-ups for "stopped apps" still appear.. and i cant get pass them.. .
Same issue here
I have tried odin with stock tar and it fails I have no idea where to go next. I am sure it has something to do with the services.jar and services.odex files but how do you get around that.

Dude here is your answer use odin and install clockworkmod latest addition... then download stock kit kat zip put it on your sd card and install via clockworkmod. This work for me cause I was having the same issue. Peace out.
Also having this issue. It started before I rooted. First I did a factory reset, (and assuming that would fix the issue on a completely stock unrooted phone) decided if I was doing a reset there would be no safer time for me to root. So I CF-Autorooted and enabled native hotspot. I believe this is possibly somehow related to my phone and the play market because updating or installing apps seemed to be the common element triggering them to start failing. Google Search would fail over and over every half second after I dismissed the notification making the phone all but unusable, so I did another factory reset, and now SAE (presumably samsung account setup?) is what fails without even the half second in between, completely unusable. I'm afraid my last hope is to one-click it.
So ive been using OmniROM 4.4 on my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300 for over 6-7 months now (since around 22/11/2013). It has all been working as a treat. Two nights ago something seemed to of happened on my phone and few apps disappeared (they had the green android robot logo). I was also notified that some apps have updated. I am unsure what these apps were (my guess would be the googles apps; google books, google movies etc. because they were all next to each other in alphabetical order). So because of this i decided to turn my phone off. When i turned it back on, it would be stuck on the OmniROM Logo whilst booting up. It would be stuck on this for a few hours. So I left it over night. Then the next morning it had booted up and a error message popped up saying "Stystem UID's Inconsistent" with a button saying "I'm Feeling Lucky". So I clicked the button and unlocked the phone. Then the homescreen was black and blank. There was no background image, apps, widgets etc. However, I can access the notification bar. If i had any notifications, for an example a message on kik. I can click on it and it will take me to kik and it can use it as normal. When i click the home button it takes me back to a black blank screen.
So, My first reaction was to create a nandroid backup (of the black blank screen OmniROM) then wipe everything (data/factory, cache partition and dalvik cache) in CWM Recovery v6.0.4.4. After this I restored my old nandroid backup, this is my backup i created before i moved onto OmniROM so it was the Samsung galaxy s3 stock 4.1.2. So once i did this i was again greeted with the error message saying "Stystem UID's Inconsistent" with a button saying "I'm Feeling Lucky". So i clicked the button and set up my device. During this and after this Ive had about a billion pop up error messages saying "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." and "Google books has stopped working" and it did this for all the other google apps. So its pretty clear that it must be something to do with Gapps (Correct me if i'm wrong please). Also, It did not allow me to get anything from the play store apart from twitter and rom manager. snapchat and the google app updates didn't work (that is all i have tried). I had error messages saying that i couldnt download it. I have tried installing gapps and OmniROM again and it works but i still get the error messages saying that gapps and google apps have stopped. I have also restored by nandroid backup of the omnirom (that I did before i wiped everything) and i still get the blank black homescreen.
So, I want to know whether it is gapps that has caused this? If so what do i need to do? Do i need to unistall it and install it again? How do i do that?
All I want is to go back to OmniROM and it works and this problem wont happen again. Also if i can get all my data (apps, pictures etc.) that i saved in my nandroid back that i did when i was on OmniROM (before i wiped everything) then that would be great!
I appreciate it very much if you have read this and helped me out.
Hello guys, I'm facing a problem.
So I recently made a nandroid backup. I installed just a small mod but didn't liked so I restored
my backup. When I started up I did get a google play services and google process gapps stopped message.
As I clicked OK I immediately tried to open other apps but they all FC. I didn't get error on recovery and
also wiped cache and dalvik. Still facing this problem, what could be the problem? I'm on stock deoxed rom
Well thats normal when you didn't fully wipe. Always fully wipe before restoring backups.
I got a error message: android_secure.img not found
Sounds like this is the proble, but can't seem to find how to fix it..
Oh nice -.- was about to flash stock rom but won't work, write protection is enabled wtf!??
can't do it with odin anybody knows something??
Hi Guys!!!
So I have a Samsung S4 (from T-mobile) and I was flashing custom roms, trying to figure out which one I like the best when suddenly, during one of the roms I was testing, google play stopped working. Everytime I opened it it would crash, so I thought, maybe it's just this rom. Turns out it wasn't.
I tried a couple more roms and the problem got even more... problematic. I tried going through the settings and clearing the cache but now even the settings would stop working and eventually every google app like google play services and google play would stop working the moment I turn on the phone. At this point I decided to flash the stock rom with Odin and for a while it was giving me problems because it was write protected. I eventually got it to flash but not only did it NOT solve these errors, but it also gave me a new one. It says:
"System UIDs Inconsistent. UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe data partition or your device will be unstable."
After going through that, the endless errors pop up and the background of the phone is black.
Any help guys? Thanks in advance!!!
Did you actually wipe before flashing the stock ROM?
Yes I did. I solved the UIDs problem and the only problem that's left is that almost all apps that are associated with google doesn't wor like google play, google services, ect.
Tell me your steps to flashing stock with Odin.
