Will SPB MS default today/dialers drain my battery?

Hello all, my 6700 battery is sh*tty all on its own, it didn't need any help. But somehow I've found a way to help it i guess. Can running Mobile Shell as my only today plugin drain my battery faster than normal? The only other thing that I've recently changed is installing a iphone style dialer, could that also be the problem? Sorry for the ignorance, it just frustrating not being able to be too far from my charger. To those with the answers I thank you in advance.

[Q] Inaccurate Awake / Screen On

Hey, I am not sure if this has been covered before, however I tried searching - didn't find anything.
I've been wondering about this since I got my the N4. WHY THE HELL is the screen on time not aligned with the Awake time?
Why does it say that the phone is barely awake at all?!?!
I loved that I could always see both (android 4.1)
Now its just IMHO broken:

Cpu usage help.

Hey guys, i'm new here to S4 coming from S3.
I have a problem.
I used usage timelines to figure out what was draining my battery

and I found out that com.android.providers.security is eating some cpu.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Is it normal to eat around 5%?
Can i do something about it or not?
I'm on tw omega v9 rom and ktooonsez latest kernel.

Mine too but differs alittle !
i also am used to engage with DOWNLOADMANAGER service running in background taking pretty cpu and battery on -both- my phones
this always happens on boot or right after managing my files(rename cut paste etc...)
whats the relationship between file managing and DOWNLOADMANAGER service while being offline ? dose the process trigger the media scanning ? it keeps running for even hours till phone gets warm!
even i myself tested it so when i press he mediascan widget on desktop the same process DOWNLOADMANAGER comes up (not the mediascan process)!
i wonder if the phone has media scan precess at all or not?
(my phones both rooted:Xperia mini GB and Xperia go JB
my cpu monitoring app is usage-timeline
excuse my bad English )

Hi everyone!
Just bought Note 3, and I'm loving it.
I have a question... (if it is posted in a wrong place, please forgive me.)
For those who are using wake up command (using S-Voice while screen is off)...
How is your battery life?
Does it suck too much juice because the device keeps listening to its environment?

It needs the touchscreen to be active non-stop.
So it does affect the battery.
