Sorry if this issue has been mentioned before but I searched everywhere with no luck...slide aside disappeared from the settings menu on my phone. I'm not a novice at this so I went into my system apps and the apk is still there...help please I can't figure this one out. Btw I have a Sprint G2 stock ROM rooted with twrp recovery. Thanks
Hi there,
i switched with my D802 to the PACman rom, and tried to restore Data/Apps from my Backup. The App is able to see every backup but always says "There was an error while restoring" (translated out of german, do not know the exact text). I got a superuser message and clicked on "unknown sources" in the security tab of Android.
Any idea?
Thanks!
"Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" error message on boot
Hey guys,
After flashing the 4.4.2 firmware to my Note 3, I get the following error message once the device turns on: "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped". I can just click ok and the message goes away but it shouldn't be appearing in the first place so does anyone know how to make it go away?
Thanks!

Only known solution I have on these issues is a factory reset. I don't think there's another way of fixing it. It is always recommended to do a factory reset before flashing a new ROM.
Hope this helps

I will give it a try see if it works.
I've tried resetting the phone but the message still appears. I've also tried tr-flashing the rom and that hasn't worked either. What else could it be?
I had this error message the first and the second time I booted my phone when I got it. I haven't seen it since then!
I have Hangouts, messages and S Voice disabled. Not sure if it has something to do with those apps...
Same issue...I have tried all full wipe, full reset, stock 4.4.2, leak, but still have that problem
I had the same issue. I did go to recovery and format everything in internal memory. Then, installed Kitkat from PC Odin...

Had the exactly same issue, I did a factory reset and it worked.
On similar problems with upgrades on both the S4 and S3 this have helped:
Go to phone settings-->More, then select Date and Time. Change the date format to something else then change it back to the format you wanted. Save and go back.
I have no idea if this will help on this problem but it might be a thing to try instead of a factoryreset
same problem here
I believe messing around with cheat droid messed up my phone, and I can't find a solution.

I've a Samsung galaxy exhibit t599n also got scanned by odin pro but can't post the results...
This error is usually linked to Facebook contact sync...
Does it also occur after a full wipe without installing/restoring any apps, accounts or contacts?
Also, test a different SIM, it might be malfunctioning.

hi there.
Just got my brand new LG G2....and I'm still amazed with it.
Right now I'm facing a problem concerning restoring my SMS.
I always used SMS BACKUP.
I do know, from a previous phone I had, that this has to do with Kitkat security.
On that previous phone I had to give some authorization for SMS BACKUP write on my SMS log, so that backed up messages could be stored.
With my LG G2, since the entire operating system is different from a clean stock rom, I can't seem to find the option to give proper authorization.
Can anyone help me with this?
As the title says, LG Backup is reporting to me that it can't find any messages when attempting to Backup. Anybody know what to do? Google searching yielded no real results.
I've tried backing up to internal and external with the same results. LG Backup doesn't have any permission options so idk.
Same thing happens via LG Bridge. I clearly have messages.
