Hey guys, my n9005 is currently stuck in DL mode with ODIN Attempting to flash CF auto root.

Hasn't given any errors, its just stuck there, im scared to kill either of them incase it bricks it.
Warrenty (knox) is already void. Had Foxhound diamond running on it before, rooted with CWM, wiped and went to try a few other roms, they all passed install
then after selecting australia, they either give system app has stopped working or gapps has stopped working error, wifi being a pain and not displaying hotspots, keyboard not displaying for password entry, randomly freezes and restarts. Tried reflashing cwm, did that fine, tried to do the auto root and it froze.. Tried to reflash foxhound and then it started displaying said issues.
Needing help pretty bad..
Thanks!

Yeah it's says in his instructions to deselect auto reboot in odin.
You will have to manual reboot after it installs.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If its stuck writing cache then use ODIN 1.85... Works first time.

I flashed the recovery for SM 9005 (new kernel) with Odin 3,09 (Chose AP, this = PDA, right?). While flashing it started bootlooping, and for just a few seconds it showed the lockscreen then bootlooped again.
I have root and recovery, but everytime i start the phone it bootloops a couple of times before it fully starts the phone. Basically the phone works just fine, it just struggles to boot.
EDIT: Crap, I tried to install Xposed Framework, but KNOX seemed to block it, rebooted, now its just bootlooping, somtimes it briefly shows the logon screen, but never fully boots.
EDIT 2: Flashed a remove Xposed.zip, it stil bootloops (A LOT) ,but eventually it starts up properly?
EDIT 3: Tried to wipe cache and dalvik, no luck. Tried to reflash recovery, both including the regular kernel, and the old kernel, no luck.

Hi,
Hope someone can help me. I'm having problems rooting my Note 4 N910F. Initially I tried CF's autoroot but my phone went into a loop with the message "CF Auto Root, Set Warranty bit : recovery" message appearing in the top left. I could not get it out of this, so then tried to install TWRP recovery. This seemed to be successful as the phone rebooted and i was able to use my phone again. See Odin log :

However when I tried to get into TWRP it simply boots into the stock android recovery. When i try to do a OTA update now I get the message " The operating system on your device has been modified...."
Thanks
Paul
Ok Think I've worked this out for myself. Think with CF autoroot I needed a special file that was posted by a Tony on here for my version of the N910F. Tried the TWRP again with Odin and did not do an automatic reboot this time. Pulled the battery and booted into recovery and have TWRP. Seems my phone was automatically replacing TWRP with stock recovery.
Hope this helps somebody else out!
Hello i have a problem with flashing anything with odin on my Samsung Galaxy S4 9505.
Whenever i try flashing ROM or recovery or whatever, it says this:
<ID:0/003> Added!!
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..

<ID:0/003> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Also when i try to boot my phone normally or go to the recovery it says this:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I've downloaded Kies and tried to recover it but it says:
'GT-I9505' does not support initializing.
What i've tried so far:
flashing pit file with and without the rom.Tried multiple odin versions.Tried multiple rom versions.Tried flashing recovery CWM and TWRP.
Also the error i got "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." was after i tried flashing official rom 4.4.2 downloaded form Sammobile(first i installed TWRP recovery wiped system data dalvic cache and booted in download mode ). I was previously using latest Android 5.0.1 official.
Is there any hope of unbricking my device?
Have you tried reinstalling your ADB driver?
Honestly, kies sucks. You don't need kies to have ADB driver installed. There is a package that install samsung drivers seperately.
Once you upgraded to a lollipop bootloader you can't just simply go back to a kitkat one. Samsung doesn't allow that.
Try using the back USB ports on your PC. Trust me, it can do wonders.
You could also try Heimdall.
well i think i've advanced abit now i get this:

Yes, but you tried to, even after I explicitly said you can't.
Your WiFi issues might be related to modem/kernel.
You could try flashing a different firmware.
I tied a differed one the wifi works now.Only when i turn on the mobile data and try to go to a random site it says Forbidden.I think i need to wait my carrier to send me the setting for the net...
Anyway THANK YOU very much!! <3
I have an i337m (North American version of s4) and you can downgrade from stock 5.01 to stock 4.4.2. I did this on 3 phones in order to use regionlockaway to sim unlock all three phones. Everything worked, including data and wifi.
I'd like to try a downgrade with a i9505 for curiosity sake but that particular model is not sold by carriers in Canada.
Tried to flash latest gtaxlwifi for my 8.1 Oreo Galaxy Tab A 10.1 SM-T580,
after Odin finished, i encountered a problem. The device didn't respond to the power button, so i can go to the recovery for the first time.
After many tries, i managed to get it back to download mode. After that, i tried to go the recovery and my screen showed some red bars, like the lcd is all messed up.
Putting it back to download mode, the screen works fine.
What should i do, please help me.
The LCD isn't bad if download screen is good. May have some how flashed wrong firmware

Well restore your stock firmware properly per your model and location and it should be good you probably flashed the wrong one or something for your current firmware

thats the bootloader telling you your flashing older firmware than whats on the device hence trying to downgrade which isnt possible obviously with that error download a newer firmware with a bit 4 because your device is bit 4 nd your flashing bit 3
Managed to flash an older twrp. Tablet saved.
But when i tried to install a wifi version (that's the correct for me), it said error 7 u have the LTE version (not true) and you try to install a wifi version.
A tweak with Notepad++ did the job.
oXydead - I have the same issue - which old verison of TWRP worked for you?
Not to worry - found your comments in "[Recovery][T580] Official TWRP for Galaxy Tab A 10.1 WiFi 2016 (gtaxlwifi) by jcadduono"
Thanks
you can fix it:

for Oreo (8.1) use the last Odin 3.13.1
