I have just received the above charger.
But when ever i put the Nexus 4 (Android 4.4.2) on the pad, the charging bolt goes on and off every 5 seconds. eventually the phone is not charging. Anyone else facing or faced this kind of problem? Anyone can help me out?
Hi,
I also ordered this charger some time ago (looks nearly identical to the original one).
With Nexus 4 I had no success charging.
First the phone always slips down after some minutes. When fixing it a bit, green light of charger was ok, phone also recognizes the charger with a sound. It also displays "charging" but does not really do so. So if placed for some hour, there was still the same percentage or less in the phone display.
On the other side, I gave the charger to a friend who owns a Nexus 7 , and he says that the tablet was fully charged.
I also got this chgr few days ago and greatly disappointed. I downloaded an ap sometime ago that was supposed to help with wireless chgring. It does. I found it on here. But for life of me can't find it again. Search for wireless charging app? On xda

So I woke up this morning and grabbed my phone after it had been on charge all night, I was surprised to see that it was only showing 22% full. A couple of seconds after I disconnected it from the charger the phone instantly powered off, no shutdown, just straight to black screen. I switched it back on, it booted up correctly, then as soon as it got to the home screen, it completely died again. If I plug it back in it powers on and works fine, but as soon as I disconnect it dies.
I'm assuming this is a hardware fault and I'll need to send it in for service, has anyone else had a similar issue? When I shake it next to me ear I can hear something rattling inside it. The phone hasn't been dropped and is in immaculate condition.
The rattle is normal. The shutdowns aren't. RMA time.
Have you tried a different battery? Based on those symptoms it sounds like a failing battery. I'd try to rule that out if you haven't already, before you go the rma route

Lol.
Having the same problem here, I left it on the charger overnight and woke up with 64%.
Rebooted and it was still the same, deleted batterystats.bin and now charging it again and going to see what the problem is after ruling out the software part, hopefully not a hardware problem because this phone is perfect.
Called support, they are setting up an RMA. Pain in the butt!
Ok, so at one point, my Nexus 7 started taking about 9 hours to fully charge using the stock charger and usb cable. I thought my charger was dead so I bought a 2.1 amp amazon basics charger with a 6 foot amazon basics usb cable. It still takes hours to charge. I read online that there was a bug with Android 4.2 and charging. The reason this CANT be a hardware issue, is because it happoned out of the blue. Didn't drop it, didn't jerk the cable or bend it in the inside or anything. So what's going on? Please help!
Thanks in advance!

If its broke order another from Asus and get another nexus 7 USB also try Franco kernel or a different rom. Franco kernel charges very fast.

2 things research your issue to see if anyone else has had that problem or simply warranty it. If it fell you may have damaged it
Will it come in my warranty.....or any way i can open and fix it..

Did it stop working after you dropped it, or after flashing 4.3/4.4

The latest (21-23) CM nightlies don't have call audio, and if you messed with you boot loader/radio, that may explain your WiFi issue...

Try restoring the 4.4 factory image from google. That'll fix up any bad radios and roms. If it still doesn't work, something's wrong and you have to return it.

Need more info. How much time off the charger? On WiFi? How is your cell signal? What apps are you using? What are your setcpu settings?

It was off 5 the charger for 27 mins and screen on time 22 mins. Cell reception is great and I use WiFi most of the time. I use a lot off game apps like field runners and candy crusg. I did a factory reset last night and the battery is at 66 percent and I unplugged two hours ago. I've been playing like 20 mins of field runners and I froze all the bloat. I don't get why the battery is not as good? Did I buy a bad one from ebay?

Could just be the battery is no longer holding a charge the way it should. You can pick up replacement batteries on amazon for around $11

Only get name brand batteries the exact one the phone comes with unless you want to chance a 5 or 10 dollar battery destroying your phone. If you care about battery life try a different rom and get a power add Apollo or a zerolemon

The phone is great the battery is also it depends on your rom and what the guys mentioned up top but I've used one rom and had 7 plus hours of on screen time. Then tried another and had 3 hours on screen time. Could be the rom isn't a great one for battery life.

Well I'm one stock 4.4.2. Is stock battery friendly? If it isn't then I would like to switch roms. I have root but no custom rcovery. Can you point me in the right direction?
I just bought the Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Pad but notice that it only charges 12% after 30 minuets meaning a full charge will take up 4-5 hours! Is this acceptable? I use the original charger that comes with the S8.
No it's not. Return it and get a new one. Also, you are using the Samsung cable too right ?

I use the Samsung cable that comes with the wireless charger and the phone shows fast charge during charging. I'll try one more time and if there's no improvement, I'll return it..
of course return it. I get it to 100% in under 3h with Choetech charger on a regular charge (no fast charge activated)
