Hi,
Yesterday I start to work with a new wildfire, but I found that Wi Fi access to work and show the follow message : "unable to start wifi"
firmware version 2.1-update1
software number 1.27.709.3
build number 1.27.709.3 CL231998 release keys
I check a lot information in many forums and all suggest to change the router channel to 6, but in my case not work.
Other forums suggest to reset the phone to the factory setting, but still not work.
I also try to run a RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio with out any luck, the program raise the follow error message "Error[131]:CUSTOMER ID ERROR" and not continue.
In other forums suggest to rooted the phone, but I prefer to use the original HTC updates, but I can't update because I can't use the wifi and I don't have a data plan.
Any one can suggest a bypass or solution to update the phone with the OTA HTC updates manually or fix the wifi problem to update directly ?
Regards,
Peter
I bought an S4 Gt-i9505 yesterday and today I already updated the phone to lollipop via odin. When I try connecting to the internet, I have to keep re-typing my wifi password. Is there any solution to this problem?

There is no such option as "save password". the only option available is show password and show advanced settings. I have checked advanced settings also but there is nothing which saves password. After every restart it ask for password for the same network which it was connected earlier.
can anyone please help on this? I have tried flashing the stock rom firmware but still that has this issue, Even if I update to latest patches I still face this same wifi password issue.
I have also tried editing the build.prop file (on rooted version) but that even worse the situation as it prevented phone from booting beyond the samsung animation and then i had no option but to download stock firmware and flash it.
Thanks
Ash
Hello guys,im expiriencing strange issue with wifi in last couple of weeks.Im sorry if someone already posted thread with this issue,i couldnt find it anywhere on XDA.
Here is the problem:
i have sm n9005 and i was using stock 5.0 first, and then decided to try some custom roms.It was all good, and i changed couple of those.
At one point,i did firmware/bootloader update for some of the roms,i cant remember which one exactly, and phone started to act strange.
It could only see and connect known wifi networks (my home and work ones) and as much scanning i used,it simply can not see/scan other
networks in the area. Its really annoying. When i do factory reset/data on any rom,its all good for some time, sometimes like few hours, sometimes
few days, but it all gets f_____ up again, and i can only use networks i already used in the beggining.I tried few times to flash stock rom via Odin,
it was all good, but after some time (as i said, sometimes less sometimes more time) its acting strange again.Maybe im flashing wrong stock rom
in Odin,i cant really tell whats going on.Current baseband version is n9005xxugpof3,if anyone knows how to solve this, please help,i will provide
any data needed in order to solve this annoying problem.Thank you in advance and God bless you!
p.s.
here is the version of stock rom i flashed, its N9005XXUGBOA5_N9005XEOGBOA4_N9005XXUGBOA1_HOME.tar and i think its Poland version
or something like that.
update:
tried to flash original italian ITV stock rom,all worked fine for a day or so,and it all went back wrong again :/
Phone is not showing any WIFI network, but when i add it manualy, which i tried with my home network,
it works well. Also, its sending me notification when available networks are on,but when i enter wifi
section, list is empty again : / Mac adress in my wifi options is ok,and IP adress is unknown.
Any ideas, guys,i would really appreciate any sort of help? Thanks!
So. I was unrooting my phone to get the B574 but it failed. Its still on Android 5.0.1 but the wifi connection doesnt work. Is there any way to fix it? Ive been searching for hours but i just cant find something. Please help me.
EDIT: After doing a factory reset, which hasnt helped in any way, i found a solution by myself. There is no real thread about it i think so ill explain it here and hope i can help someone.
If its stuck on 'connecting...' and switches to 'Avoided poor connection' after 1-2 minutes all you need to do is:
Forget Network -> Click on it -> Show advanced options -> IP Settings: Static IP and retype everything what is given.
This will let you connect again.

Hi, try with this:
1. Download https://bit.ly/2s5WJEi Modem file
2. with odin open file in CP option
3. Phone download mode and flash
You can also download the complete firmware from Sammobile, ensuring you download the latest firmware version corresponding to the region of your mobile.
