to be honest i don't understand either but you can try :silly:
you dont type in the pin - normally when you pair with a device it comes up with a code and sends it to your phone - your phone then pops up with a message saying xyz device wishes to pair with your device with the code -- do you wish to accept
try pairing the other way round - ie search on your phone for the bluetooth device you want to pair with and pair from your phone

Go to your extended ROM >>> see if there is a BT.cab there, and of so run it. Otherwise you may have to reflash the ROM. Maybe others will advise differently.
Nope...that aint there... i searched a few extended rom compilations but couldnt find any BT.cab or similiar cab

Given we are using the same ROM version (Sin's merged), then I think the drivers are there but it sounds as thought the icon (BT_Icon.cab in the ROM) may be missing. What you could do is download BTH Tools v.1010 from XDA-Developers ... I found it yesterday by doing a search. This is installed from a PC and may help you get it going. It is not a BT engine, merely a means of activating/deactivating BT and it shows which battery is in use as well.
I have a weird one as well in that my BT works well in connecting with a laptop computer, but when I use it with a Plantronics M3000 BT earpiece, I have to re-do the connection the hard way (i.e., pair the damn thing) after every time the XDA II is suspended. I don't think it is the Plantronics device (which is a piece of ****e in my experience) alone .... will sort it even if I have to buy a better BT earpiece. Maybe others have some advice??
Hi,
I have a HTC p3600 and want to connect it to my Mercedes Bluetooth-cradle.
Before I bought the phone I thought it is no problem, because it has SAP-Support. Now I had to see that it is a problem. The cradle doesn't find my phone!!!! Does anybody have an idea why it doesn't work???
Some registry-entries?? A wrong phone-name?? A general problem???
THX

I'm sure that you already checked all the settings on you bluetooth like "make discoverable" etc.?
yes.
But is the name important?
Mybe there is something that I have not checked, but I don't know what's important.

Have you used the Mercedes BT successfully with another device? Have you forced the phone to look for other BT devices?
I was at mercedes to check the cradle before i'll buy it. I hadn't to much time to check everything.

no, the mercedes-guy told me that I will not find the cradle. I used the internal bluetooth of the car to test if my mobile is visible (it is).
I have read some other posts (of another device) where the car doesn't find the phone because it is a PDA and no mobile. Is it possible for this device also?
Is there anybody who is using SAP successfull with the trinity?
EDIT:
Now I have tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-274226.html
but I can't edit my registry. It always says "Zugriff verweigert" (in English: "Access denied").
Now I have tried another registry-editor. It allows changing the value, but after a softreset the old values are back again.
Today I was in this computer where clients are able to touch and test the equipments. I went to the PDA section and I tested the bluetooth menus and options available on HTC touch cruise and another one I dont recall (p34 something). I was surprized to see an option on the bluetooth menu which said "Time until BT goes invisible". And then a drop down list from where u could choose from none (always active) until a couple of hours. This said I wonder why cant they put an option like that on hermes? I mean, everytime I go into suspend mode the bluetooth goes invisible and only my headset can find the PDA! Hermes is an HTC best seller I cant see why they dont support it anymore, it's such a powerful device
We only need a short program for this. I think Dr. Yaar Bluetooth is being popular on the forum. Well I never give it a try but surely we can do such type of function to work.

Already installed it. Didn't work. Maybe because it is made for Win Mobile 05...
hi all
i just bought a touch HD, its my first WM device and i have some problems with it
one if it is the bluetooth that dosent work, or i dont know how to configure it
i cant find other devices and also other cant see it
i tried before(SPL 1.14) and after i put miri ROM(SPL 1.57)
is there a solution to this?
Without mening to offend, but have you gone into Connections, Bluetooth and enabled the device to be seen?
offcourse
but the thing is i cant find others as well

You shouldn't need anything extra.
So, not only is bluetooth turned on, but it is also set to allow the devices to be seen?
What type of device(s) are you trying to connect to?
Can you tell us the main steps you are taking when trying to establish a connection?
Is this how you are doing it?
Click to watch video
yes i selected the "make my phone visible.." and turned on my bluetooth just like on the video
im trying to connect to a regular phone( samsung d880 and SE k800)
well, you shouldn't need any other program or driver. What ROM do you have?
If you want, you can try using this program (DrYar-Bluetooth v1.6) and see if it works. Can't promise anything, but you can give it a shot.
Download it at the bottom of this post.
im using miri V16 WM6.5
but it didnt worked before with stock ROM
im gonna tryu and see if it workes with other kind of devices
looks like its started to go
i think drYAR bluetooth did the trick
thx for the help
the touchflo interface for bluetooth dosent work(it dosent find other devices) but the WM one(in the advanced) does strange but i can live with it
Hmm, okay. I guess it's sort of a "half solution". Still annoying that touchflo won't do it, but I'm glad you can at least use bluetooth via other methods.
I tried different roms curently using hyperdroid/ Miri with no success the phone always crashes when i pair/connect my bluetooth and try to make call. I followed directions of a poster to pair/connect and unpair and reboot. It worked once and then same problem again.
I want to use android on a regular basis but cant use it without bluetooth. Can anyone help ? Thank you !! I searched this forum and on the web for a while before posting this. If you have a solution please help.

Try different kernels. I've found that even though I continue to use the same build (ShubCRAFT 1.5), when I swap kernels I get differing results with the BT headset.
Media Audio tends to work whatever, I've had no problems with that, but phone audio is a different matter.
I've been using michyprima's r11 kernel lately (noAXI) and that seems to just about work but I do have to make a call and press the Bluetooth button immediately initially to get it to work.
Even then, it's flaky, as when the phone rings and I press the answer button on my BT headset, it brings up the Voice Dialer dialog over the top of the phone app and doesn't answer the call. I've resorted to only connecting BT to media and not using it for the phone.
I appreciate that doesn't solve your problems - I've simply decided to try each and every kernel until it's fixed! I'm sure the wonderful devs here will get round to fixing it soon but I think they've probably got other things higher up on the priority list right now!
I'm using a Sony Ericsson MW600 BT headset btw.
hello sorry for my English
my jabra bt hyperdroid on 1.2 works, but sometimes there is more sound for the march to re-I does not restart it by pressing the restart button, but I removed the battery!
For me works like that
success
I forgot to tell you that I deactivated the sound of media
