Hi,
I have little problem on my battery state, when i charge my phone(Stock Rom) full 100% and play with it until it gets 90% then reboot my phone, the state rest it self to 90 % like i never charged it to 100 % the performance of the battery is good.
I changed the Rom,wipe cache, and wipe Delvik but the problem still persist.
thank you

I don't know what you are asking, but if you reboot your phone anywhere around 100 to 90%. The battery statistics will be reset. But from 89% below, u will still have the reading from 100%. Cheers!
This what am asking so this normal.i did not notice this before thanks

Hi guys,
I'd gladly post this on the CM7 RC's thread over at the dev forum but I have yet to accumulate 10 posts.
Lately I've been experiencing weird battery % issues in CM7RC2 and now CM7RC4, that the charging would be stuck at a certain percentage even if I charged it overnight. It never goes to full, until I pulled the battery and rebooted.
Is something wrong with my battery?
Thanks in advanced!
Are you using an official battery or a third-party battery?
I'm using the official one
I'd try charging the battery to full then wiping battery stats from within Clockwork Recovery.

I would definitely try this.. I had the same problem and it worked for me.. after you reset the stats, drain the battery again till the phone dies, fully charge again, and wipe again

First, doing the battery drain is effective in calibrating the battery meter but is still probably a bad idea because by doing it you are decreasing how much charge the battery can hold (i.e., a full charge will not last as long). It might not be super noticeable, and doing it once in a blue moon is likely not a big deal, but don't do it often or you'll just end up having to replace your battery. Deleting battery stats should be enough to correct the OP's problem, and allowing your phone to recalibrate under normal use is fine but takes longer.
That said, I do the battery drain anyway, but I would definitely suggest not doing it more than once every 6+ months. Wiping battery stats often is not necessary at all, unless of course you are actually having a problem like the OP is.
Second, you definitely should not clear battery stats AFTER performing a battery drain and recharge. The whole point of doing the battery drain is to let the phone gather new information about the battery since you just wiped the battery stats. If you wipe them again after doing that, the battery drain was useless.
... and from what I'm reading, trigger gives great battery life. So how do I see what has been eating my battery life up? For instance, I unplugged 40 minutes ago and I am down to 91% already.
The regular option on the phone doesn't do a great job of troubleshooting this issue and just says "Display" and "Cell standby" as the relative battery use culprits. I figure, though, that this must be something I downloaded that is killing the battery. I love the ROM overall, but if this battery issue can't be resolved, I need to find something else quick. I'm a slave to a charge port.
Thanks.

Have you tried conditioned your battery by wiping your battery stats.bin? Why didn't you flash the newest Trigger?
Yeah, you need multiple cycles for battery to be even close to accurate, and you should recalibrate.
Are you using other kernels or themes?

Let your phone die wipe battery stats in recovery mode. charge to 100% then use the battery calibration app from the market and re-calibrate the battery. I always repeat the process. Sometimes when flashing new ROMs your batterystats.bin can get a little funky so I always do this after flashing a ROM and my battery works great.
Definitely check the Kernel and Modem your running if there not the ones that came with Trigger than that could be causing your problem as well.
From what i have got from prior experiences. Using odin to go to stock as if your phone just came out of the box and then flashing removes all the old files. When i did this i went from getting almost 10 hours... now my phone gets 17 normal and if i dont use it as much as a normal day it iwll hit 24 hours no problem.

This post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=806022) is saying to wipe battery stats at full charge... So what is it?
And why didn't I flash the newest version? It was when I flashed it.
What was the use in the 40 minutes after charge? I could see that if you had screen brightness high, and lots of wifi surfing or video use. I downloaded an app called 'screen filter' and it lets me lower the brightness lower than stock and I have noticed significant battery length increase since use. The stock dim options are not enough. Its still too bright and a waste of battery.

same here, and i suggest you do the charging during night when your sleeping, so then there'll be no interruptions, like having to reboot for some odd reason etc. That can disturb the process of recalibration/conditioning.

Pretty much nothing... Maybe looked at Facebook once and replied to a text?
So I drained it, wiped the battery stats, then looked at what it was doing - probably 1 minute after it was totally dead and wiped. The screen said it was at 14% already.
In less than a minute - 14%...

Let it die again and wipe again. Your stats are off from the flash its normal. Just let completely die wipe charge wipe repeat. It will take a couple times normally to get back 100% right

Make a full charge (keep for 30min even after green led). Then enter recovery and wipe battery status. Then use the phone till complete discharge. Then after few complete charge-discharge cycles, it should give better if there is no battery problem.

Huh? Does the charging animation show, and, does the notification LED glow when charging? Also, are you using the genuine charger?
If putting your phone on charge decreases the percentage, how do you keep it on after the battery drains completely?

Well Firstly yes to all ur questions ...
and I always have to Re-Install the Mod when this happens
Its probably the first time I am hearing of a case when charge decreases when the phone is charging,
But anyway, as said above, try re-calibrating your battery.

hi all,
i have some problem with my wildfire battery while charging it stuck on charging percentage like 70 to 80 % everytime than i need to restart my cell after 5 min of charge than its start showing 100 % but it will take almost 4 to 5 hours for a complete charge.
I already tries to clear battery status in 100 % but like other clear cache n all when we clik on yes its shows cache cleared but in clear battery status nothing such type of massage shows by my phone and still facing the same issue with my wildfire.
I already S off my phone and using my backup of froyo..
Kindly suggest me what to do after a full charge my battery last for almost 24 hours...
Have you tried charging when the phone is off?
If it still isn't charging, have you tried using the AC Charger?

but buddy i dont wanna switch off my cell for charging it will take almost 4 hours for a complete charge...
kindly suggest something else that will going wrong with my cell??
Do you find that the battery drains particularly fast?
Or does it just take long to charge?
no my battery gives me good backup almost 24 hours it stuck on certain % while charging and i need to restart to get it full charged.
How old is your wildfire? The long charging times I'd say would probably be down to a messed up battery

its around 10 months old..
same problem with my wildfire.. mine also arround 8 9 months old

OK so I'm having a issue with the 2.3.4 rom I'm on the latest cherry blurr on the stock radio also stock kernel and my phone won't charge past 95% I'm using transfer recovery to install the rom and also I use fastboot to wipe the phone before any rom install, can anyone tell me why im having this issue and I have wiped battery stats before

You have to keep it charging even at 95.it does take some time to charge beyond 95%.
When it hits 95% the charging status shows the phone is unplugged but the phone is plugged in
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
Did you try running CWM and resetting your battery stats? Do that once you've reached 95. Then let it drain completely. Then charge it to F. Then reset the battery stats again. I did that when mine wouldn't go beyond 99.
My ATRIX does the same thing, just leave it in until it reaches 100%. it will take a little while but it'll work.

The phone will charge upto 100% and then stop till it hits around 95% again(not exactly 95% but example). This is a safety feature to protect the battery from charging continuesly.
Alright ill let it charge some more now and report back

let us know how you get on as i have the same exact problem
Wiped and recalibrated and it's still the same. The second i unplug it goes down to 99 and pretty much downhill for the rest of the day
I think there is a general issue with the battery and GB and i don't think there is a concrete fix yet.
Thanks guys phone charged to 100% gave it some extra time

If this happens, there is no need to drain the battery.
Boot into CWM and clear the battery stats.
Download Battery Calibration from the Market.
Start Battery Calibration, (and leave running).
Put your phone on charge with the AC charger. The phone will take a while to get to 100%, especially the last couple %.
You will hear a chime when the battery is fully charged. Leave charging for another 15 minutes, (sometimes if you unplug it right after it hits 100% it drops to 99% straight away).
Calibrate with Battery Calibration.
Enjoy.
Thanks for the tip!
Mine's been stopping at 98. It gets to 95 at a normal pace that I'm used to seeing with this phone, then takes probably 8-10 hours to get up to 98 and then just stops there and won't charge any more, no matter how long I leave it in. The OP said he just gave his extra time and it eventually got back up to 100...but how much extra time should I be giving it? No amount of calibration has helped me yet.
Any thoughts?
what I have done is when the phone is close to charged but not fully is to wipe the battery cache, then connect it to charge. for the first few charges it will stay at 100% for some time before it starts to drop, an it will drop faster then it should and be out of power before it hits 1% but on the 3rd charge it always seems to calibrate itself. I do not drain it fully just till it is pretty low. To put in hard number fully charged it is about 4200mV and so I wipe the battery stats close to 4150 and charge when it gets around 3700
do this a few times and for me at least the battery seem to be pretty well calibrated.

Phon shouldn't be going all the way to 1% I believe. Battery internal safety should shut it off at around 5% to prevent a complete drain which will ruin the battery. If you are seeing 1%, that would lead me to think you are not calibrated properly.

More or less.. for one, though, the battery calibration app should be doing the same thing as wiping the stats in cwm. And even still, my battery will never get to 100 no matter what, so I can't really wait til then to calibrate.. I've tried forcing earlier calibrations but to no avail

Thanks, I'll try doing that. I think I'm gonna let it discharge almost all the way, then turn off and charge while that little battery icon is the only thing on the screen. I'll try wiping again at the end, and let you guys know.
