Did the 4.2.2 update change the color temperature? My display produced a more neutral tone before the update but now the whites appears warmer and has a yellow tint to it.
It didn't change mine. Mine is cool, and has always been cool.
Now that I think about it and using the xda app it's wormer white.

I've been running JT1134/TeamHacksungs' ICS build 3. While running spectacularly, I've noticed the screen has a greenish hue. Was wondering if anyone has found optimal settings to use for RGB color tuning that closely matches the 230,230,270 RGB optimum nexus default tweaked through Voodoo Control. I just want blacks to look deep black, whites to look bright, and there be no prominent color hue. Anyone able to assist?

That's called backlight bleed. It's all over this forum.
Didn't know it was a widespread fault with the phone.
Thanks!

I don't know if my nexus is the only one that has this but my led is more noticeable on the bottom? You can see the circle and the dot in the middle which is the led

I can see mine too but only when the screen is completely clean and in bright light, don't worry its not a problem

I was trying to find mine with direct light and I couldn't really see it. The only time I've actually noticed it was today in direct sunlight and the right angle.

I'll try later with sun light and correct angle
never noticed!

Hi
When I use pixel tester app change to black screen it is not pure black on the very lowest brightness it is a little pink and I mean a little not sure if it is my eyes tbh. This is the i905 is it expected for a almoed screen never had on before..
The S3 is a very light black in comparison which is sort of white

You either have the reddish black (only visible in near darkness) or the smear problem. I got mine swapped, and now I'm stuck with the smearing problem.......
My firmware is xuamdf

You can fix the smearing problem temporally

Anyone else have a pinkish/gray tint on some areas of the screen when the brightness is low? It is easier to see on a gray image. The best way to see it is to use the app called "lcd test (amoled ready)"
