International Galaxy s4 stock radio img? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed Android 4.4 to my international s4, but I don't get any signal at all when I'm in LTE mode. But when im in cdma / gsm mode I get full signal. So I searched the interwebs and found that most people are having trouble in nexus with this 4.4 update.

I don't want to go back to samsung's crappy implementation. I really feel in love in 4.4 so I don't want to go back. Please upload for me the stock radio img of s4 so i can experience google 4.4
thanks!

Should I install I337 roms?

Hello all,
This is my first post here, so I'm kind of a noob, but please bear with me. I currently am using the Galaxy s4 GT-i9505 international version in which I bought in Hong Kong last month. I came back to home net network of Rogers Wireless in Canada. The major issue my area supports LTE and the phone cannot reach LTE in the status logo. (I am only getting 3G, H+, 4G) The phone is up to date with the newest in phone update of 4.2.2. This should not be happening because even in the Settings => Mobile networks => Network mode i checked under LTE/GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) option. What should I do?
Also, should I be flashing to the I337 version roms? (which is the local branded version for Rogers in Canada) Please help and help me get started, much thanks.

I'm going to delay you a little until you get a good, valid response from someone that actually knows for sure... But, I know if you flash an international ROM on an I337, it will brick the phone because some of the components are different. It seems to me that it would also brick your phone by doing the reverse, by flashing a I337 ROM on the international version.
First, you did post questions in q&a not the general forum. Second, there is a forum for the i9500, i9505 where you would probably get better answers for your device.
The canadian version is i337m...no locked bootloader as with i337
I am running an international based rom on my i337 m right now.
4g can be lte...depending on a few things..run a speedtest to be sure.
If your not getting lte speeds try to change your modem to the latest canadian version from the modem thread.

Data Drops after Flash 12B Modem

Wondering help on this..I had flashed the 12B Modem while on the latest Verizon Unofficial CM11 Rom, But i experience lots of data drop. I flashed 12A but experience the same..So I jump back to 11A Modem, still having data drop constantly where I cant make calls or anything. Any suggestions? Hoping this can straighten out without me having to revert to stock rom, Plus I'm with T-Mobile on this Verizon G2.
Never had this issue til I flash modem to begin with. Only did so too see if my T-Mobile would get better coverage while on a Verizon G2..
Any suggestion or help would be gladly appreciated.
u dont have nandroid of previous CM11 prior to flash new modem?
I have had horrible luck with data on all AOSP roms running any modem. My phone usually has 1 or two bars of 3g but upon a restart or manually forcing LTE only I get great LTE coverage and speeds for a few minutes until it drops back down to 3g. Here's an album with screen shots showing my average 3g signal and when i force LTE only. imgur / a / 6fZK2 (Add .com & Remove spaces, cant post links yet)
Anyone else have this problem? Currently running the latest 12/26 CM11 nightly and the latest 12B modem. I figured the problem was not having updated modems for 4.4 as I had similar problems on my Gnex

Ahh I see.. Well I'm gonna try to go stock and see if its any better, I'll definitely post my findings if its ROM related or just Modem that sucks.

Went to latest Stock, Data is back to normal again for me. So I know do believe it was rom related like you mention

i9505 and i9505G (conversion?)

It seems that there's more ROM's for the i9505 rather than the i9505G.
Is it possible to convert to i9505 from the i9505G?
What do you mean by "convert"? Are you looking to install a 9505 ROM on a 9505G, or are you hoping you can physically change the 9505G to a 9505?

My main reason would be the ROMs.
That doesn't really answer my question. In terms of hardware, you can't drop an I9505 motherboard into an I9505G midframe and vice versa, as the design of the midframe is sufficiently different that the motherboard won't fit properly.[1]
From all appearances, it sounds as if you purchased the wrong phone. I'm fairly sure you don't get LTE over in the UK on the I9505G, as its LTE is supposedly set up for the US market. Your want of custom ROMs tends to ignore the I9505G's big selling point, that being the updates come direct from Google instead of Samsung. Heck, you sound like the mirror opposite of myself, as I have an I9505 here in the US with no LTE due to not having the right LTE bands, and a ROM that other than being rooted and debloated is stock. If your phone is black, maybe we should talk.

I guess I changed to a custom ROM a while back thinking I'd get more out of it. I wanted it rooted though.
If I go back to a original ROM and root that (if possible?) Would I still get Lollipop?
Going back to the original ROM should allow you to get Android 5.0. The GPE phones are root friendly so you should have no trouble rooting. After getting Android 5.0 then you can use a custom recovery.

New to note 3, couple of questions..

I was using a samsung Epic touch and a customer gave me his old verizon Note3 and luckly ting supports GSM now.. soo whoo hoo!!
And while i don't hate the verizon OS.. i would prefer like cm1 1 or whatever is out with lollipop. I did some reading and see that 4.4.4 isn't rootable.. my phone is on 4.4.2 NC4, Am i able to get TWRP or CWM in there and change the rom? And i did searcha round.. but there is so much info and i wanted to be as specific as possible on my own phone to make sure i don't kill it...

You can root and install safestrap, which is based on TWRP. The bootloader is locked so non-stock ROMs like CM11 or anything Lollipop based is out of the question. There are some good stock based ROMs though.
