Thats the download-modus. From there you are able to flash a rom. This screen came up with me to, wen i flashed the wrong kernell..
I think you screwed up with flashing?

alright ill tell u what to do
open odin 1.7 and plug in ur usb and connect ur galaxy tab then it should be done
after that flash a compatitable rom to ur galaxy tab

since when does download mode look like that, its a android and a ! sign on mine

@Heppieboeddah yes i did mess up trying to flash a custom rom.

Did what you said and i flashed Roto-JMI-FULL-v2 using odin and its worked perfect i have life in Tab now. Thanks alot

Ok thanks for the help guys, now i have another problem, the recovery menu doesn't work....

u mean power button + volume rocker up ??
ok power off ur galaxy tab totally
after power off :
wait for 1 min make sure u really power it off
after 1 min is over
press and hold the power button + volume rocker up till it show the recovery menu

get back to me in this post, if it does or does not work~ ^-^

this one in the image, ignore the red writing, what happen is if i select wipe cache or any other option it just freezes

i can access the menu with button combination, once in the menu i can go up and down with vol buttons but once i press home button goes to a android in triangle screen and stays like that. i downloaded the euro bootstrap from market and thats the main cause of everything.
Its Euro Tab Recovery Bootstrap i downloaded from market.

You select an option in CWM by pressing power.
If you still have the phone-pc icon, power off, go into download mode (home-vol down+power) connect the Tab to your PC, open Odin and flash a new firmware.
I had the exact same problem after a bad firmware flash

So flashing another rom will sort out the recovery menu?

just tell me is that the screen shot u just get ?
it may not a full rom!! tat u just flash that why u get the red text

got to reboot and press home button few time till it reboot
and if the screen shot is what just take u will need to flash a new full rom

and what u talking about is the after u press the home button it get stuck in the triangle just keep tabbing the home button.. i always get that i always keep tab the home button

i used get that screen shot before, now i get the same screen without red text. So the recovery menu is stock one yes?

The Tab starts up fine and works fine, ok did what you said about pressing the home button few times it works now, i thought you had to press it once to execute.

Stuck on SGY logo after installing custom ROM

hello guys,
i rooted ma frds SGY, and i tried installing custom ROM USSR v5 in SGY by the given procedure on internet.
but i wiped the data and catch form recovery instead of CWM and
after rebooting the phone it stucked on SGY logo..
please help me out guys m noob..

REQUIREMENTS: ODIN 1.85 ( JUST DOWNLOAD 1.85 ) FIRMWARES (LATEST OR DUNNO) FIRMWARES CLICK HERE SAMSUNG DRIVERS and Samsung Kies...
(ONCE U DOWNLOAD UR FIRMWARE..UNPACK IT)
(ONCE U UNPACK U WILL HAVE 3 FILES PDA.BLAHBLAH.tar.md5,CSC.BLAHBLAH.tar.md5 AND MODEM.BLAHBLAH.tar.md5)
1. OPEN ODIN...
2. CLICK THE PDA BOX THEN CHOOSE THE PDA_S5360_XXXX.tar.md5 (THAT XXXX IS THE FIRMWARE VERSION)
3. CLICK THE PHONE BOX THEN CHOOSE THE MODEM_S5360_XXXX.tar.md5 (THAT XXXX IS THE FIRMWARE VERSION)
4. CLICK THE CSC BOX THEN CHOOSE THE CSC_S5360_XXXXX.tar.md5 (THAT XXXXX IS THE DUNNO)
5. NOW PUT YOUR PHONE TO DOWNLOAD MODE

[Q] gt-19505 stuck in splash screen

Hello to everybody , i am new in this forum so excuse me for any mistakes.
i own a samsung galaxy s4 gt-19505 with an omega rom installed . the phone was running perfect untill today . i tryed to ota-update a mod with odin app (direclty from the phone) and since the phone reboot it stuck on splash screen and dont boot . I tryed to rewrite the omega rom from my pc but odin dont let me . Also when i try to use the recovery mode ( volume up-home button-power key) there are no options for wipe data factory reset etc
any help would be apreciated

Just curious why you are asking a question about a i9505 device here?
Anyway, are you saying it can NOT get into recovery at all? or you can get into recovery and there is no options.

Are you sure you're not talking about download mode? (vol down + home + power)
Recovery mode is vol up + home + power. Release just the power button when the phone vibrates

yes download is fine
in recovery are not any options

You have 2 options, get into some type of recovery, or ODIN back to stock. and that will require some reading to get that up and running...try here first.
You will need to post in your i9505 forum about this issue where to find original stock image, I looked there, but didn't see anything right off the bat.

I do not know if this question was asked before but anyways here is My situation, I have a galaxy y non-rooted non bootloader unlocked. It was one day that it suddenly does not load after the boot screen. I think it is like bootloop. I do not know what just happened.please can anybody help me what is Is to do. I have a background in rooting and bl unlocking if this info may be needed. Can I flash a new Rom/root to a bootloped device?

if stuck on bootloop go to recovery and wipe data..

you can use cwm to wipe system and data and root/flash a custom rom
or you can use odin to flash stock rom (see dokys thread at top of dev section for firmware)

my device isnt rooted so i believe i cannot do the cwm method?

no, u can go into recovery without rooting
Steps:
1. Power off ur mobile
2. press volume up + home + power buttons
when u r in recovery the touch screen is disabled so u should use
volume up/down button to scroll up/down
power button to go back
home button to select

sir i have problem, i think my computer does not have the correct drivers for my device. the ODIN cannot detect my sgy how do i fix this?

for odin to detect ur device u need to be in download mode and not in recovery

uh btw, the issue about the ODIN detection was fine. and i was able to install a stock rom, but now stuck on samsung........oooooooo

make sure you do not have keis installed on your computer or disable it
start odin in admin mode (right click run as admin)

try removing the battery and then reinserting it after 30 seconds...

Before flashing check in option Auto-reboot and UNtick that checkbox.Start flashing,when it will say Complete disconnect data cable,press Vol- and power button and Home until the display will go dark.At this moment move your finger from Vol- to Vol+ with pressed Home and Power.After that you will see your custom recovery.This should be done only once.
