Galaxy TAB stands in Download Mode

i want to flash my tab with Odin.
At the Flashing stands "FAIL"
I dont know how i can reboot the tab from download mode
Any Idea ?

I already answer to you in the other tread.....just flash one more time the PIT file with re-partition, and it should boot in the previous version ......give a try ....

I do not know if this question was asked before but anyways here is My situation, I have a galaxy y non-rooted non bootloader unlocked. It was one day that it suddenly does not load after the boot screen. I think it is like bootloop. I do not know what just happened.please can anybody help me what is Is to do. I have a background in rooting and bl unlocking if this info may be needed. Can I flash a new Rom/root to a bootloped device?

if stuck on bootloop go to recovery and wipe data..

you can use cwm to wipe system and data and root/flash a custom rom
or you can use odin to flash stock rom (see dokys thread at top of dev section for firmware)

my device isnt rooted so i believe i cannot do the cwm method?

no, u can go into recovery without rooting
Steps:
1. Power off ur mobile
2. press volume up + home + power buttons
when u r in recovery the touch screen is disabled so u should use
volume up/down button to scroll up/down
power button to go back
home button to select

sir i have problem, i think my computer does not have the correct drivers for my device. the ODIN cannot detect my sgy how do i fix this?

for odin to detect ur device u need to be in download mode and not in recovery

- wait 30 sec
- Press Vol Down, Home, and Power at the same time
- When (about 5 sec) Warning screen appears, release Volume Down and Power, then (a bit later) Home
- press Vol Up (You'll get Odin mode screen)
still odin cannot detect my device :S

uh btw, the issue about the ODIN detection was fine. and i was able to install a stock rom, but now stuck on samsung........oooooooo

make sure you do not have keis installed on your computer or disable it
start odin in admin mode (right click run as admin)

try removing the battery and then reinserting it after 30 seconds...

mobile restarting in recovrey and Download mode

hey experts my sgy is getting on n off abd stucks on the galaxy y logo some time it gets in the samsung blue logo bt dosent reboot and as i said it revoot again n again n always get open in recovry mode i tried odin n all bt it reboots in download mode also i have not installed any rom u have original room but i had rooted it i didint installed the cmw.... so guys hepl me out

bt it gets switch off performing that to it just shows the recovrey screwn for few seconds and goes off
and i have perform this couple of time bt same error i have posted my recovry mode image plz check that and rply tbat is it ok or not or something is wrong in that

vol up+power +hom is recovery
and it shows after few seconds it goes off right
did you press anything after getting into recovery

try flashing your stock rom through odin

tried that too but its same like recovry mode it turns off in downloading mode after few seconds

hmm have to do that cz somehow i was able to flash custome rom but still same problem.of auto reboot

Wipe ur whole system/data/cache in CWM recovery, then flash stock rom via Odin.

damn started the fone the problem is the power button it got damaged so its rebooting have to press the power button 10000000 times to make the fone work so i will go to shop and ask him to give a new powet button any ways thanks guys and ia there any way to change the button configuration i mean can i change the volume button to power button? temporary?

[Q] i9505 s4 button problems

hi, I have just registered and looking for some help if at all possible,
I have a galaxy i9505 S4 and recently the Home button seems to come and go, and the power button the same, and also the screen keeps lighting up every minute for about 10 secs, if i remove the battery I can restart the phone, and also the home button works to start the phone in factory reset mode, so i feel it might be a software problem rather than hardware.
is there any way to get the phone to reinstall the firmware, as factory reset didnt help
the phone is on orange (EE) UK
thanks for any advice or help given.

hi, thanks for the reply,
the home button just dont work, single click, and holding it in for the task manager dont do nothing either, but if i turn off the phone and hold the home, vol up, and power button, it boots into reset menu fine.
on and off the power button dont work, and i have to remove the battery to restart it.
the screen just lights up every minute for about 10 secs as if it has a notification, but there is nothing there, it drains the battery to empty in about 5 hours.

do u have a custom recovery like Philz recovery?
if u do, reboot to recovery, do factory reset and wipe cache.
then (still in recovery), go to advance, wipe dalvik cache.
Reboot yr phone.
See how it goes..

I dont have that, the phone is under warantee still so would putting that on void this? I dont want to send it back as they take 28 days, and i need the phone.
so is there any other way?

If u want to reflash firmware,
First u have to install Samsung kies app on yr PC here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038555
Then install Odin3 on yr PC here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1728605
Download yr stock 4.2.2 firmware from XDA/Sammobile. (make sure it is in .tar.MD5 format)
After finish downloading yr firmware version, open odin.
In Odin, Make sure that ONLY AutoReboot & F.Reset Time is ticked in Odin options.
Load extracted file (.tar.MD5) as PDA in Odin.
Turn off your phone, press & hold POWER+VOLUME+DOWN buttons until phone boot into Download Mode.
Connect phone to the computer and wait for the drivers to be installed. You will see blue or yellow indicator in left top corner of Odin, with phone connected to port: COM:x
Click START and wait until you see GREEN indicator [PASS], flashing is finished.
Then, it will reboot itself. U can unplug yr USB cable.
That's it.

hi, I have just done upgrade and initialisation from Kies, and it redownloaded and reinstalled the latest software, took ages, and the button is still not working, so i guess it will have to go to the shop.
cheers for all your help, the button only works before the OS has started, as i can get into recovery menu.

That seems pretty much a mechanical problem (button broken) or hardware issue (shortcut somewhere? could explain the screen problem...)

the buttoon does work, but only to get the phone into recovery mode at startup, so physically the button works, just not when the phone is powered into the android os.
Im a bit out of ideas.

It's a faulty button mate.
You don't need to use the home button to boot to recovery or download mode on the S4.
You can simply press volume up+power (recovery) or volume down+power (downloadmode) no need for home button at all.
This is why you think it works.

Not true, i have this same issue after opening Wanam.
The screen turns on if i press the home button but wont do anything else (exit from an app back to home screen etc)
About to re-flash rom and / or kernel

- the lockscreen wont work
- when connected to PC, the filesystem wont show up (used 3 diff usb cables, 2 diff PC's)

It's very true mate.
YOU DO NOT NEED HOME BUTTON TO BOOT TO RECOVERY, SIMPLE.
Your issue sounds different to the OPs.
If you refer back to his first post, he said his power button doesn't do ANYTHING.

[Q] Want my device working in anyway soon

My device constantly reboots without getting on for more than 2 sec. I tried recovery update as mentioned in many of the threads available here.
But as written there i am not able to select any option from the boot options available i can scroll down using back button but selecting a option never does occur I tried all the possible combination. Apart from that to get device working, I installed ODIN and did whatever was written but ODIN is not displaying my device. Anyone please help me it's urgent for me because that would save my life and I need to get a solution soon maybe as soon as possible. Do help me friends....:highfive:

as you said if none of these button is working what should I do if I wanted to wipe my cache or maybe install a custom rom through recovery? oh sorry i didn't see you asked me. Yes they are not working only back button do change the option hovered

Download mode is in korean
The screen which i get in download mode is Korean. Not knowing what to do. I'm feeling like stuck in a maze with no way out. The only things I can see on recovery update screen is
select boot mode:
volume up to select
volume down to ok
recovery mode
fastboot mode
normal boot

I read many a times this was something related to Korean clone of Samsung s4 but when i bought it from someone he never told me but now I need my phone working because I'm out of town and need my phone maybe for 2 days will do
