Recovery is gone? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Had my phone for a month or month and a half, first day I rooted it and installed cwm using flashify, I then made a backup of the stock rooted rom.
I immediately went to aosp roms, once twrp was ready I used flashify again to flash twrp without issue.
I've used flashify a few times to change recoveries to restore my stock rooted back up, then after I can't stand that I use flashify again to get twrp for aosp as it's much much faster than cwm, well my issue is that last night I went back to stock rooted backup. This morning I tried using flashify again to get twrp flashed.
Well I no longer seem to have a recovery, when it reboots to recovery I get a black screen with two little lines of words in the top left corner... Something about fastboot.
I have to hold the power button for it to get out of there, upon rebooting flashify still tells me the recovery is cwm..... but I can't get to it for whatever reason.
I would try again but the 3 flash per day rule is in affect, can't buy pro till tomorrow.
Anybody have a idea how to get to my recovery? Or am I going to have to set the phone back to stock and start over?

[Q] Can't access recovery anymore (unlocked bootloader)

I unlocked my bootloader awhile back when the exploit first came to light and have been enjoying it mostly problem free since.
I've been using CWM with CM10.1 for the most part but the issues I was having with CM were finally getting to me so I thought I'd just try a debloated stock ROM, and thought it was a good time to try out TWRP while I was clearing everything out.
So I loaded up Matt's tool and flashed the stock ROM back (because for some reason my computer doesn't like to recognize CM over USB), no problems there. At the suggestion of the tool I also flashed the stock recovery (since I intended to flash TWRP I figured it was a good idea). Here's where my problem lies now: The phone boots fine back into stock ROM and I can get back into fastboot no problem but if I try to get into recovery (after flashing stock, CM or TWRP) I only get the opened up Android with the red triangle/exclamation.
Is there some step I need to take that I'm not?
I boot into fastboot and flash recovery (stock). Boot normally wait a couple min (skip setting up accounts, etc) then flash the custom recovery but I seem to end up back at the broken android every time.
EDIT: I might just be an idiot. I completely forgot to root the stock ROM before trying to put the custom recovery back.
Broken android is stock recovery...

I've got a soft brick going on

OK, I've had my S4 a couple months. It's already been rooted, with TWRP installed and also MDOB custom ROM. But tonight I decided to replace TWRP recovery with CWM then I was going to flash CM 10.2. after flashing CWM I now have the yellow triangle and a message saying "system software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone" and the phone won't boot nor recovery is working. With no recovery I can't reflash the current ROM i had installed, I have the MDOB file on my memory card ready to reflash, but the phone won't do nothing. What to do now?
Can you get into download mode by pressing home, power, and volume down at the same time while booting up? If so, you could use this guide I've had success with. http://galaxys4root.com/galaxy-s4-tutorials/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-and-remove-root-completely/

I had a similar issue were I flashed philz recovery and it wasn't the loki'd zip.I to had the triangle of death with unauthorized ATT msg, I tried three times to boot into recovery and the last time I tried it went to (pic posted)and from there I pushed down for restart phone.it booted up like a regular reboot and was OK.
Also after it booted I lost custom recovery, so like I did the first time I achieved recovery I flashed with ROM manager clicking the T-Mobile S4 when prompted. Note : only use ROM manager to flash recovery.now use recovery to flash a auto Loki recovery. Hit thanks if I helped

MF3 CWM not overwriting TWRP

I have a rooted MF3 to which I flashed CWM, but in seeing that it wouldn't let me do anything besides wipe data/factory reset I flashed TWRP. When I booted into recovery on TWRP I would get stuck with it saying "DOWNLOADING" and would bootloop back into TWRP recovery unless I restarted by hitting vol down + power + home button, then hitting cancel. Once I was able to get it to boot normal I figured I would reflash CWM, but once I flashed CWM and attempted to boot into recovery it would always boot into the stuck TWRP recovery. I am under the impression that since there is no stock rom I can flash, if I even had a means to flash, to get back to the stock recovery.
So my question is does anybody have an idea of how I might get CWM to properly flash over TWRP, since flashing with rom manager doesn't seem to work.
You shouldn't be trying to flash any recoveries what so ever considering you have a stock mf3 firmware. You definitely don't want to cause more damage.

A best buy Samsung experience booth would be your best bet if you need to go to stock, they can reflash mf3 firmware

As said, the samsung booth at best buy is your only choice right now. mf3 phones are bootlocked.. flashing recovies = killed phone (unless the before mentioned booth can help you out).

n900t TWRP installed, now no recovery and bootloop

so i bought this N3 about a month ago, so it was on 4.4.2 from the factory. first thing i did was root it to get rid of the bloat. fast forward to now. nova launcher is getting boring and i want to try a new rom. first thing i did was try to install twrp. im using the latest file from twrp and odin 3.09, and everything went fine. tried to boot into recovery and it boot looped with the "seandroid enforcing" loading screen. even pulling the battery did nothing. i had to put it in download mode and cancel out for it to boot back up normally. now my problem is i have NO recovery and thats not sitting well with me. i also do not want philz recovery, so im not gonna even bother to try flashing that until i have no choice.

i'm facing same issue here
i can't enter download or recovery mode
dirtyjerzz: Flash a stock ROM via Odin after that -> flash CWM -> Philz -> TWRP

[Q] ODIN fails while installing TWRP, stuck at boot

I was trying to upgrade from CM11 to CM12, which went smooth except for GAPPS closing constantly. I read online that this was caused by an old version of the recovery, so I tried to update TWRP to 2.8.4.0. I first tried using the TWRP app from the Play Store (after recovering my Nandroid backup), which locked the phone where it would only try booting into recovery, but couldn't get there. Holding the power button to turn it off would result in a reboot right back into recovery, which of course never went anywhere. Now I am trying to re-install TWRP using ODIN but It fails every time [Complete(Write) operation failed.] I have an early S4 from AT&T and it has never had an official update. I can't remember which firmware it is using, but it is the original so I shouldn't have any problems there. Can anybody help me get this thing up and running with either TWRP or CWM and CM12 please?!
Update: I have been able to get the phone to boot by first booting into Download mode, then hitting the Volume Down button to cancel. This has twice booted it back into the OS. Still no recovery though.
Solved
I was able to install TWRP 2.8.4.0 from the app after getting the device to boot. It worked correctly this time and all appears to be well. Odd that ODIN didn't work though.
