Since getting the update to Kit Kat I have been having issues attaching documents from Google drive into Gmail messages. Worked fine when I was using 4.2.2 now nothing.
Could you please explain what are those "issues", and what you have already tried to fix the problem?
There's absolutely nothing we can do without more information.
I can't add documents to emails. It shows the documents I need however when I try to select them it does nothing. I've tried to clear cache from both the drive and gmail app.

Hey all I posted this topic a little while back but can't find a fix.
Since updating my nexus s on fido to 2.3.6 (unrooted) my gmail Outbox is a mess. It sends the emails fine - but the number beside the Outbox just keeps getting larger. Never resets back to zero. Even after a successful send. I've tried resetting the app data and even the device a couple times. I'm running the email on synchronize mode and i have multiple Gmail accounts on my device.
Has anyone experienced this issue and is there a way to fix it? I can't seem to delete the Gmail application to try to reinstall it and there doesn't seem to be an update available....
Cheers

Open gmail on a computer and delete the emails that are older and not showing up

Also, 2.3.6 is very buggy. Could be one of the bugs as well.

Must be a bug in 2.3.6......when I open up my Gmail on the computer all's fine...

Hello,
I traveled to Jordan and used their local SIM card (zain).
After one or 2 days started my phone acting strangely. I can't open my gmail and Google play. I didn't tried other apps if they got same issues. However when I restart my phone I got couple of messages telling net that gmail stopped working. Also some processes too, like com.Google.xxxxx. I also tried to reset the gmail and Google play cashes hoping solving the problem but it doesn't.
Can someone help?

You might have used your backup app to restore some core services/system data.
This is only happen to me when I restore all system data with titaniumbackup.
Google has some problems recently, might be linked to that?
I had the same issue yesterday. Some update application did this. I had to erase and reinstall everything again in order to fix the crash.

Try signing out of Google then back in.

Running Uxlyon 4.2.2 rom (Aug 8th) and i'm not entirely sure if its the facebook app or something else, but dont seem to get any push notifications from neither the main app nor the messenger application. Found my self checking the FB app to find out i've missed a messenger txt from someone. Was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.
Did you restore facebook from a backup? If so, try reinstalling it from Play Store

Yes that was the case, re-installed and its working at intended now.
Hi. I'm new here so I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this. I was using crash rom and I seem to have a problem with syncing and restoring from Samsung account. I got the error that says sync error and server is busy. I flashed x note and I never encountered this problem. Each time I flash crash rom with full wipe, I will always have this problem. Anyone can shed some light to my problem?
Retry the account. It usually fails first time. It did for me when I logged into my Samsung account

You mean deleting my Samsung account and readding it back? I did that previously but i'm unable to get it to sync and restore. All 4 sync options like contacts, Internet, calendar and scrapbook have the red exclamation mark beside it.
Yeah.. that should fix it. Unless your phone is having connection issues. - it's also possible Samsung sync is down - I don't use it anymore so can't verify

I've tried removing and adding my account several times now but it doesn't seem to work. I also tried flashing with and without full wipes but it doesn't change. When I flash X note back, it could sync and restore normally. Weird.
Hey guys,
I have a problem on my nexus 4 and I've tried every fix that I've found yet but it's still not really working...
My problem is that the sync is giving me an error everytime I sync my google account. The problem is caused by the contacts. I've checked the contacts on my computer (www.google.com/contacts) and new contacts are being synced, but my phone still tells me there's an error...
I've already tried:
1. Contacts Sync fix (from the playstore)
2. Reconnecting the google account to my phone
3. Backing up all contacts, deleting them on all phones/on my google account and reimporting them
Any other ideas? It would be very cool if I could fix this somehow

Does this happen with a stock ROM too? I've never encountered this problem with any custom ROM I tried, either on my Nexus 4 or Motorola Atrix HD.
I have had this issue in the past. Force syncing and a couple of reboots later it seemed to fix it self.
