As the title says, all of a sudden the animation occuring when opening an app is going off by itself. And when i enable it again from the Developer Options, it will turn off again in a matter of time..I'm on BTU Mj7 stock and not doing heavy usage, just social media, browsing, camera. Probably a MJ7 bug? Does anybody have this issue?

Hello,
I noticed a battery drain issue on my Note 3 since the last update (N9005XXUDMJ7) 2 or 3 days ago.
When using BBS or CPUSpy, I can see that the phone is always awake (no deep sleep period) without any noticeable wakelock.
I performed many reboots including reboots in air plane mode but the issue is still effective.
Does anybody have the same problem and is there any solution ?
(Sorry for my english, I'm French.)
Thanks
Are you rooted? You should install better battery stats and look to see what's causing your wake locks

I'm already using BetterBatteryStats and this app doesn't detect any anormal wakelock.
I've already experimented this issue on my Nexus 4 until a new update solved it and I read on the forum that this issue was known by Note 2 owners.
I think it's caused by Android 4.3 in some respect.
My phone isn't rooted.

Change kernel on lian http://androtransfer.com/get.php?p=imoseyon/hlte/lk_hltetmo-v1.2.1.zip and try again. Used wakelock detect in extend mode and find wakelock process
Most the time I get the message Internet is unstable .from every wifi I use not just home .I have the unlocked SM-N900. I'm in Thailand the samsung shop wants to reinstall the existing firmware..which means deleting everthing and reinstalling ( a pain in the butt).
Do u think this would solve the problem do u think it's a hardware problem.? Or wait until the next update? According to Kies I have the latest firmware.
How come only some people have this issue?..I have unticked wifi scanning and autnetwork switch. No change.
Thanks for any help

I think its quite common. I had encountered heating issues during gaming time. Remember one thing, Note 3 is very thin for powerful performance. I'm not surprise if it has heating issues
Mate,
I have SM-N900 same as yours and it gets very hot at the rear (just closer to camera).
I can say temp degree because i have not find a suitable application for that!
I moved from SGIII due to heat as one of the reasons and i guess i just landed on the same spot.:crying:
I hope somehow it can be controlled by future updates...4xA15 heating up like all processors!!!
Use energy saving mode to downclock your cpu. If you dont go heavy gaming u dont ned 2.3ghz. Will save battery and keep your device cooler

Haven't had any heat issues whatsoever on my Qualcomm Note 3 (N900T). I've played plenty of games, even emulating Gamecube games with Dolphin, no significant heat. It gets warm but not hot, nowhere near how hot my Note 1 used to get just browsing the Internet while charging.

I've been having the same issues, even multitasking is causing it to heat up, forget the games! Mostly the top part of the screen, front and back, I'm surprised as this wasn't the case when I was using the phone at the Samsung gallery before buying it.

The reason why i switched from 3g version to 4g version (we don't have 4g yet in our country) is the overheating.
I had an s4 i9500 and it was always burning on the back. I think it's something whith exynos processors because with qualcom's cpu, no heating even after 30min+ of heavy tasks.
Regards

Same with me..i use N900 ..when playing VAINGLORY...the heat is very unbelieveable...can anyone know me ROM and kernel that can make my N900 just warm when play VAINGLORY??..sorry about my bad english
3 out of the last 4 nights, FB kept the phone awake for 7h30m until the battery drained completely. 2 days ago I reinstalled the application and the night after everything it's been ok, but last night it happened again.
Do you have any idea what could be wrong ?
Check to see if location is on and look at the update frequency. You could also try a permission manager to disable gps like I did

Hi,
well the title said it all, I have a WiFi-Tablet and my Note3, what are the pros and contras of both methods?
For example battery life, speed, reliability...
Thanks in advance!
Bluetooth:
-slower (as fast as E)
-consumes less battery
-low range
And vice versa
