Prevention information

My note 3 is giving an annoying message tutled prevention information which warns the following: "an application has been firced to stop for and unauthorized attempt ti access system in your device, then it suggests that i uninstall all the app obtained from an unauthorized route. But all the app i have were downloaded from play store... help this message is annoying. And i cant find the app

Yes but i thought knox worked for stopping issues

not always ,i not got knox see if you can stop it and then try

Im pretty sure it will stop the notifications but i dont wanna ignore the issue i wanna know whats creating it or what is trying to access my info

have a look at all the apps you downloaded after it started and delete them one by one untill you find it

Mine has started doing this too. After a reboot and at random times. Lookout doesn't report any malware and all my apps are from play store. It's annoying more than anything else. It's a useless prompt as it does that say which process was closed.

Has anyone deleted Knox to see what happens other than a warranty void? I'm having the same issues when unload any titanium backup apps. It could be just one app I load up and I get this message. But if I get the app from the note 3 itself it doesn't prompt.

On mine it seems to be connected to the wifi in some way. For I In Bataan be I leave the wifi on when I leave home and when I pull into the driveway the message pops up.

Maybe, I was thinking of something along those lines, but maybe triggered by something the phone does. It happens when I am away from my home router sometimes, possibly driving through the range of another WiFi router, even if I haven't tried to connect.
I'll try to watch for that to happen when I go out today.

Cool. Great to see someone on Three needing the same flashing requirements as me.
Any good so far ?

I toyed switching to H3G firmware, but decided against it (for now at least) - I was on BTU - Just switched ROMs to Crash rom with MK2 battery is pretty stable tbh better than when I originally got the phone. Everything is far smoother also, not sure I can go back to stock lol

I have MK2 since last night and it consumed only 2% battery till morning. So it is good till now.

How is your wakelock status? - Phone went into deep sleep without any issues then?

I don't know what app to use to see that. But what apps I have do not show something keeping the phone awake. And 2% over night is good I say.

I have MJ7 and got 0% over night. Really hapy with battery. 2 days when i have this device.

Although I am also on the three network, I bought my note 3 from expansys and it was unlocked, so I went for the update via kies 3 which now gives me JSS15J.N9005XXUDMK2
The only change I can see is my network mode now shows LTE/WCDMA/GSM selected by default, no LTE there before update, battery seems slightly better maybe?

Oh interesting, LTE added now. I wondered when Three were gonna issue the LTE update with software.

It won't actually work on the LTE frequencies though, until they turn on the LTE towers, I read on their website rollout will start round about now in certain areas of the country, with more and more being added to the "LTE Enable Area" list next year

Yeah supposed to be live here (York) in January, Was wondering how they were gonna apply the update to enable LTE via (Unbranded) Phones not purchased through Three directly.

I'd have assumed that if it was available on your tariff, it would have just worked, whether the option to choose that band was in mobile options or not, as my mate picked his up unbranded N3 and he got LTE straight out the box as it's enable on his 4G account, admittedly I didn't check what version came on his phone before he ran the OTA, but it wasn't this latest one.
Us lot with unbranded phones and on Three, should see it just work and kick in, once we're in an enabled area, as they are activating 4G for everyone, no nasty price increases.or download limits imposed.... happy days

Downloaded this tonight, haven't had the change to comment on battery life but one thing it does seem to have fixed is the issue I was having wit the camera in low light, the interference with wifi on seems to have disappeared now...no horizontal lines on screen

Anyone here flashing mk2 with mobile odin pro?
I'm on a vodafone uk debranded & sim unlocked note 3. Currently trying out three. My modem is mj4 (ap is mj7 btu).
Are you noticing any improvements with mj7 modem that comes with this mk2 release?

[Q] Galaxy S4 I9500 weak signal

Firstly i live in Kosovo (small country in Eastern Europe) and i use IPKO Mobitel sim card.
I am having a very weak signal on my Octa variant , i did root it in the past and changed the firmwares 2-3 times and flashed CM11 but after coming to stock non-rooted 4.3 i am having poor signal always 1 bar and sometimes even 0 when im at my home. I tried flashing different modems but still same no loss or gain..

Go to Settings>More Networks>Mobile networks>Network mode and change it to gsm only. if it doesn't help then change it to wcdma only and if even that doesn't work then change to auto connect and get a new connection from a better company
Note: It takes some time to switch network mode so be patient and give it a minute or two to properly shift.

If you're talking about personal apps you should reboot the phone. They will reappear. For WiFi I've had no real issues. Just spent the weekend at my cousins house and I wasnt disconnected at all.

I forget the actual name of the setting but look for something like "smart mode" under WiFi settings as well as avoid poor connections and turn both of those off. See if that helps you at all. Did for me

Help!!! I have a VZW note 3, latest ota, rooted with towelroot, and no matter what I try no vibration whatsoever will work. Navigation keys, notifications, nothing will work. I have battery saver off and have already hard reset the phone. Any ideas on what's wrong? Thanks in advance!!!!

Not even a phone call? What about when you set it to vibrate does it buzz in?

Absolutely nothing will vibrate no matter what volume mode... any ideas??? P.S. it was working when I first got my hands on the phone then we updated to the kitkat ota and it completely stopped. Even after a hard reset.

It could have been a bad flash. You should try using kies to reflash the official software.

I just did. Nothing still. I'm guessing now I have to go rip open my phone and replace the vibration motor?

If your Knox counter isn't tripped I would just warranty a new one...
