Hiding Developer Options on Android:
Once activated, the Developer Options on devices with Android 4.3 or above remain visible. You will not find a single option that lets you revert back to the state when it was hidden. However, there is still a way to hide Developer Options on Android device. To do this, you will have to boot your device into Recovery Mode and perform a “data/factory reset”.

Have you switched on USB debugging mode in developer settings? (To un-grey developer settings you have to press the "build number" line in "about phone" 7 times)

"Waiting for adb Mode"

Hello Everyone,
I apologize if I am asking a newbie question, but I have spent a couple of hours trying to figure this out.
I cannot unlock the bootloader. When I type "no" under option 3 it says "Waiting for adb Mode"
If I try to use PdaNet it fails to install the driver on the Nexus 7
I have tried installing the drivers using option 1. I have turned on USB debugging.
I recently reformatted my computer (maybe that is a problem)
I have no idea. Please help if possible.
Best Regards,
-dlb
Here is the Fix:
Obviously you need USB DeBugging Mode On:
ToDo: Settings>About>Click on Build 7 Times>Turn it On
Now: I needed to mark it as a camera vs. media device
ToDo: On top Left of Tablet bring down the Menu > Click "Connected as a Media Device" > Click "Connect as a Camera"
Then it should recognize it.
Or you could just boot the device into fast boot mode and use fast boot commands which have nothing to do with Adb, since unlocking the bootloader has nothing to do with Adb.

[Q] USB Debugging in Paranoid Android

Hey guys, running PA 3.65. How do you get to the USB Debugging setting?
Do you have developer options enabled? I'm pretty sure you have to enable them first. Go to "About tablet" and tap "Build number" seven times.

USB Debugging

just got home with the G2. downloaded, and installed drivers. cant get the device to show the USB debugging notification.
Is your device rooted? Did you enable developer option? USB debugging has to be enabled in "Developer Options" under setting. You have to enable it first. To do so, you should go to Settings, About Phone, Software Information, and then repeatedly tap "Build Number" until it says "Developer Option Now Enabled".

Mobile doesn't connect as MTP or Camera in USB mode

Hello All
I have a problem that mobile doesn't see USB connection.
When I connect the USB the mobile start Charging, but the sign for USB connection doesn't appear in the mobile
Also I tried To access download mode, Odin Doesn't see the mobile connected.
I have recovery TWRP, and tried Stock based ROM, and CyanogenMOD.
Can anyone help me, or experienced such symptom before?
1. Go to settings and select "More" tab. There you can see the 3 dots..
2. Please select "About Device" which is the last option under "More".
3. Please tap "BUILD NUMBER" for 7 times. Remember "BUILD NUMBER" will be disabled when you start clicking.
4. 7 times clicking build number will start the "Developer Mode".
5. Go to "Developer Mode" and untick debugging mode.
6. Conect ur phone to USB conector again and tell me how it works
