CM 10.2 Calls and Lockscreen issue - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hi i searched for this in forums but didn't find anything.
I am running CM 10.2 Snapshot version for the Canadian S4 installed through the CM installer app...
Basically when i am on a voice call, the screen locks after a while. I am not sure if this is normal, but both on GE ROMs and stock TW the lockscreen would never engage during calls, and by taking the phone away from my ear, i would see the call screen. But this doesn't happen here.
ALso, once i do unlock, the call screen is gone. It is now residing in the notification bar and i have to access it from there. Very annoying.
Anyone got a fix for this or a suggestion, it will be very appreciated

[Q] cm7 Problem with speaker on send/receive calls

I have rooted my legend to cm 7 works great, but i have a problem that is starting to freak me out
When i dial a number i cant her the dial tone, and i cant her the other person, it is ringing but no tone. If i put some earplugs in it works.
I simply cant figure this out...
I have that too from time to time, but i seem to have had that whenever I've used any combo of GPS/3G/WIRELESS connectivity at the same time (I think). I'm also using a rooted version with the latest nightly cyanogenmod. You need to restart it and the bug will go away.

[Q] Receiving Calls when headphones in (7392 update)) [Solved]

Good morning,
This is my first post. I have recently downloaded and flashed Yukis (7392) ROM updated on 5/16 and for some reason when someone calls in, and I have the earphones in, the person calling gets a fast busy signal. The Caller ID will splash on the screen and instantly go away as if slide screen was activated and the ignore button was pressed. I want to say this is a ROM issue for the last ROM I used (HD20) would attenuate the sound and the call would come thru. I havent tried any other 7392 ROMS to be sure, Just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue with Yukis ROM. And, if we do find it to be a ROM issue can someone inform yuki as I can not because my post count is too low.
Thanks,
Dirty
UPDATE:
Looks to be a Update issue. I just tried it with HD20 rom with the same results. Am I the only user seeing this? I searched the FAQ and I did not see anything stating that this is a Bug. ???
Resolution
So i played around with this for a While and it seems that if you turn off both options in the "Ease of Access' menu then you will be able to receive calls with the headphones plugged in. This also works with mic'd headphones as well.
Thanks,
Dirty
I hadn't even thought of this! I usually turn those options off & hadn't when I switched roms. I'm going to try this when I get home and let you know if it worked for me as well.

[Q] Sound stops working

Hi Guys -
I just got the N4 yesterday to replace my many broken GNex's. I love this phone to death, but I'm having a problem:
Every now and then my sound will just stop. All sounds; notifications, phone calls (voice in the call), music and anything else that will make sound. Rebooting fixes it, but I don't want to reboot 100 times a day. It happened on 4.2.1 stock and it's happening on 4.2.1 AOKP rooted. I have no OC settings or CPU tweaks right now. No custom kernel either.
Anyone else having this issue? I also have that reboot issue, but I know that's a big bug.
Lol and now when I get a phone call it crashes.

[Q] CM11 bugs and solutions

Hello,
yesterday I installed the last nightly snapshot of CM11 on my LG G2 but I noticed the following problems. I hope you could suggest me a solution for them.
During a call, the proximity sensor detect my face and turn off the screen. But when I finish the call or simply when I move the phone away from the ear, the screen remain OFF and I need to double tap to wake it up. I don't think this is an expected behavior.
When I receive an email or SMS/Hangouts, the notification sound looks to be fragmented. The sound starts, then interrupts for some milliseconds and then start again. This is annoying.
No radio nor IR in the ROM. I know, I'm on AOSP kernel, but I really guess that a custom rom for a specific device have to carry on ALL hardware features itself, without to flash or to modify further.
Apart this, CM11 is a GREAT rom.
Can you help me to solve my problems with CM11?
Thanks :victory:
I also suffer from issue #1 and issue #2 immedietely after a phone call ends. The normal tap sound becomes a buzz sound but goes away in less than 30 seconds.

Proximity sensor troubles

First of, I have to mention that I had no problems with a stock samsung rom or any touchwiz based rom. The problem is with the CM/AOSP based roms.
When I get a call, the screen goes black. I am unable to even see who is calling me. It works fine with a earphone in place
But what I discovered with SlimLP is that I am able to see my screen when I receive the call, thus allowing me to pick up the call but once the call has been picked up, the screen goes black and I am unable to use in-call options or even end the call.
It would be really helpful if someone can find a fix to this as I have tried several ways to fix the proximity sensor issue. I am not sure where the problem lies in as I have tried installing every custom rom there is and the result has always been the same except for SlimLP.
Thank you!
