I have rooted my legend to cm 7 works great, but i have a problem that is starting to freak me out
When i dial a number i cant her the dial tone, and i cant her the other person, it is ringing but no tone. If i put some earplugs in it works.
I simply cant figure this out...
I have that too from time to time, but i seem to have had that whenever I've used any combo of GPS/3G/WIRELESS connectivity at the same time (I think). I'm also using a rooted version with the latest nightly cyanogenmod. You need to restart it and the bug will go away.

Hi everybody, I seem to be having a major problem when making outgoing calls, (ie. to Voicemail and other contacts).
Sometimes, whenever I try to call my voicemail or other people, I don't hear any ringing, and when the person picks up.. I hear no sound. This is usually fixed by clicking speakerphone then unclicking it, and I can hear people fine.
But sometimes my sound works perfectly fine... but lately it's been on and off.
I've tried a soft reset, and even went to T-Mobile to get a SIM card replacement, but it still happens on & off? For example, one hour I may make a phone call and I can hear the ringing as well as the other person on the line. The next hour, I may not hear any of the ringing or the person's voice... UNTIL I press speakerphone and unclick it.
I even re-flashed my G1 back to the official Android 1.5 update, it was never rooted in the first place.
I hear incoming calls perfectly fine, and receive text messages perfectly fine as well.
Do you guys think this could be a software or 3rd party issue?
Is your fone rooted?
If it is, then try reflashing your current ROM (or another build maybe)
What ROM are u running?
Have u tried flashing the radio with a newer version?
Be careful if you are running the newest SPL because downgrading the radio will brick your fone.
It sounds like a software issue because you say turning on speakerphone and then turning it off seems to make it work IMO. This would reset the software's interface with the hardware.
No, my phone has never been rooted.
I only flashed my G1 to the official UK cupcake update, then flashed it back to the official US cupcake update when it came out. I re-flashed the U.S update, and I'm STILL having this problem on and off.
Hi all,
After a lot of work and a phone exchange I got cyanogenmod to work on my phone, but now when I want to call someone the phone gets stuck!
This is what happens:
When I turn the phone on and try to call someone I get the normal metallic voice, after that I hang up (as instructed in some thread in this forum), but when I try to dial again the phone freezes on the dialer. The odd thing is when I press the home key or red key it responds nicely, and all the other apps work fine! Also, when I receive a call after this; the phone will ring, but when I answer -- total silence, I can't here the person on the other line nor can they hear me!
What can this be????
Thanks!
Hi,
I use MDJs_CyanogenMod7_v.2.6_NAND_A2SD+. in my HTC HD2.
the above problem rarely occure, if occure reboot the device may correct this problem.
Yup, I had to reboot it twice, but now it works great!
I got my hd2 last week from my sister ( ) Well i heard that it had android running on it, so i checked it out. I got it to work & i'm currently using NexusHD2-Froyo. I like it a lot, but i have this problem that i've been having with almost every rom i've flashed. I have the robot voice.. like quite a few other people have & once i try to make a call, which fails , the sound no longer works for anything. I don't want to sound like i'm a big complainer, but i just need to know if there's anyway that this can be fixed. Help would be appreciated greatly
1. turn off haptic feedback & audible touch tones
2. reboot phone, dial "0", push speakerphone, hang up when call connects or you hear sound
I got this issue since 10.1 (and on 10.2) where i recieve phone calls.
1. The call comes in, and i pick it up but i can't hear the caller.
2. Sometimes the caller can hear me but i can't hear them.
3. Sometimes i can hear the caller but the call got noise
I had to return to stock ROM after this. It doesnt matter if i use a RC or nightly build. This also happens on my both S3 and S4? I have not modified the modem or any other files
Any suggestions on whats wrong?
As the title says, when somebody calls me on one of my sip numbers and I'm on wifi I need to put the phone on speaker a number of times before I can start hearing anything from the call. After that it works but it might lose audio again at some later point and cycling the speaker setting brings it back.
I haven't noticed this before 4.4.2 and I can't reproduce it while on 3G. Any ideas?
Actually phone also directly drops the call or even reboots from time to time while doing this. Cool software, bro.
As a late update - I followed Samsung support's advice and reset the phone to factory defaults (from recovery) - then only installed a minimal set of programs and modified a minimal set of options. Receiving sip calls is still buggy or causing the phone to reboot.
