As for unlocked, you mean sim unlocked? - region unlocked? -

I mean unlocked for any sim from factory and not a carrier locked phone that has been unlocked.
I don't know if that would make any difference to the updating process.

Yeah makes a difference if it's unlocked vs carrier due to carrier additions etc.
Plug your phone in to KIES on your phone and check for any updates, OTA doesn't always work too reliably .
Current is XXUDMJ7 and baseband is MJ7 also
Just noticed your CSC is different which is probably causing it.. I'm on my phone and not at home so limited in looking around. I'm sure someone will chime in soon!

EDIT: You can change your CSC to BTU though for different updates. You have to flash via PC ODIN, It may trigger your KNOX as stock flashes have been known to do so
So, can I change the csc to btu without rooting and still get ota updates?

If you flash the BTU firmware it will change the CSC to match (from what I can gather at least) - And you can get OTA updates.

It all depends on how you're flashing bro. If you're flashing via cwm, and then that's not increasing your flash counter. The only time the counter is increased is if you're flashing none official files via Odin.
The 1 in your flash count is probably from the initial flash of cwm via Odin when you first rooted your phone.

Google is your friend
It's a program that is used to reset your flash counter back to zero so Samsung won't be able to tell you flashed non official firmware on your phone at some point. Basically it comes in handy if you want to keep your warranty on your phone.

works here too, Even with the first 4.2.2 German Update: Just had to hit menu button to start it up. :cyclops:
for anyone else , in the menu just select and set it to while charging from default dock mode , as most did not notice it because likely no one was using a dock.
Updated mine the other day. I noticed lower benchmark score (from 18K+ down to 17.5K+). Anyone with same experience?. Also, I have to uninstall some updated apps from playstore and install it again before they function right. (Case in point, Google Chrome, Drive, G+, and WeChat).

Chain fire's auto root (triggers knox flag) or root de la vega (which shouldn't trigger it). Check the original android development subforum. I have personally used auto root because I don't care about warranty and the second root method wasn't released at the time.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I've used Samfirmware in the past and they normally have it. But for the Note 3, I can't see anything for the Vodafone network or any other carrier for that matter?

I've checked Samfirmware prior to this thread and they only have firmware for unbranded devices for Note 3. Or maybe I'm not searching correctly?

You can search here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/
Are you in Vodafone UK? If so, then they still haven't updated your firmware, it's still on MI7. Only Note 3 UK firmware that is updated is the unbranded BTU one, which is up to MJ3.

Thanks mate. This was the same page I was looking on. Can only find unbranded UK unfortunately, as you stated.
Yes, I'm on Vodafone UK. I guess I'll have to wait until they release an update (they're rather slow!)
Why not flash the btu?
Why would you want the bloatware From voda?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can't flash a different firmware, as in the BTU firmware is different from the VOD firmware, and therefore it wouldn't be possible to flash that firmware (unless I completely wipe data on the phone, which I'd rather not if possible). Right?
Any advice would be appreciated.
