wanted to update via Kies but it says i that have the updated firmware (eventhough in the system-about device it still shows 4.1.2).
if i were to update manually by flashing the update from sammobile, will i void my warranty? or set off the counter?
thanks.

you can flash back to 4.1.2, if you rooted it you can use triangle away to reset your counter then unroot your device...
I just flash 4.2.2 Philippines

works here too, Even with the first 4.2.2 German Update: Just had to hit menu button to start it up. :cyclops:
for anyone else , in the menu just select and set it to while charging from default dock mode , as most did not notice it because likely no one was using a dock.
Updated mine the other day. I noticed lower benchmark score (from 18K+ down to 17.5K+). Anyone with same experience?. Also, I have to uninstall some updated apps from playstore and install it again before they function right. (Case in point, Google Chrome, Drive, G+, and WeChat).

Use CF-Root, that works fine.

Just updated my DBT Note via Kies (in the US). Thanks.
Updated in US via Kies, no problems. I don't see that anything major changed. Anybody see something?
In Aus, downloading the latest Kies... then the Phone update should show.. as I too have a DBT German model.
Took two tries...failed 1st one, nice lump in throat!
Passed 2nd time. MAYBE someone can get this one to root easily
anyone know what it does?

heh, I'm not really fussed.
I will only need root when I decide ICS is stable enough to use and then I'll downgrade first and apply root if I have to.
BTW I have bough Mobile Odin Pro. I just haven't used it since I lost root on my last update.
I don't really miss root anyway...
new update via KIES
OK got the new update via kies, OTA didnt work for me..
live in finland and had the stock german la4 (dbt) installed.
Now on LB1
no major changes in this version in my opinion..
got somekind of freeapp website preinstalled.. useless
maybe a little faster, the gallery for sure is loading alot faster for me
also contact list scrolling seems faster and doesnt lag
benchmark showed a average of 4000 same as on LA4
browser is also faster and doesnt lag on pages as it has done on la4
Is it available for download and update via computer based odin as i dont wanna root am on xeu unlocked uk version white note and updated to la4 via kies as samsung cant be bothered pushing out to uk. ...

Hi as of today i discovered the Samsung Updates have an OFFICIAL release of Android 4.1.2 for the N7105 Galaxy Note II LTE 4G and the pda filename is N7105XXDLK7 and the csc salescode is South Africa Vodafone but it works on every Note II LTE 4G!
The changelist is 590317 and the changelist of the leaked N7100XXDLJ2 firmvare is 422394 so a 167000 new things they have changed!
AND AGAIN THIS IN NO NO NO NO LEAK!!! Please read... NO LEAK!!!

Chain fire's auto root (triggers knox flag) or root de la vega (which shouldn't trigger it). Check the original android development subforum. I have personally used auto root because I don't care about warranty and the second root method wasn't released at the time.

Are you in Vodafone UK? If so, then they still haven't updated your firmware, it's still on MI7. Only Note 3 UK firmware that is updated is the unbranded BTU one, which is up to MJ3.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can't flash a different firmware, as in the BTU firmware is different from the VOD firmware, and therefore it wouldn't be possible to flash that firmware (unless I completely wipe data on the phone, which I'd rather not if possible). Right?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Bala,
I installed Russian firmware yesterday,.... some times i am getting Roaming symbol now i am plan to install India version.... Do i need to install India modem separately to avoid roaming symbol..?
Updated to 4.3. Phone seems really snappy, and text looks good and sharp. Camera opens fast.
The only problem that I have (and had in 4.2.2) is that when I take photos in HDR mode, phone shuts down when it shows "Processing".
I thought update will solve this problem but damn. Anyone else having same problem? please report.
I've got an SHV-E210L (Korean Galaxy S III) running on an I9300 firmware (don't know how).
I saw on SamMobile that an Android 4.3 firmware is available for the SHV-E210L. I wanted to ask if I'll run into any problems if I flash that firmware?
Will my phone get locked if I flash that firmware?
BTW, just telling you I don't mind the 80-character SMS limit or the fact that I can't use EDGE. Are there any other disadvantages of flashing a Korean firmware?
I've also heard of I9300 users losing their IMEI's after flashing to 4.3 and having excessive battery drain and random reboots. Will I get those?
Thanks

Nevermind guys -__-
I flashed the 4.3 Jellybean firmware (baseband version is in my signature). The phone works flawlessly and has no battery drain issues! The IMEI is still intact and texting and everything works great!

I have the E210L as well. Which rom did you use to flash? Please post a link.
PS: I keep reading conflicting reports about using i9300/i9305 roms on the SHV E210L. Any ideas..

I downloaded the 4.3 stock ROM from Sammobile.com
I'm working on a way to convert the E210L into an I9300/I9305.
