Hi
I am having a WM6 on HTC 3400i. When I configure Activesync I get this error message 0x80072F17.
Also, doing the connection configuration, I am not able to provide the domain name (I have provided the server name). I understand the domain is provided automatically by the ISP.
Please help and provide a solution.

How to access SSL based website/webservices from WIN mobile 5.0 device

Hi Friends,
I am using C#.net as Programming language and device is WIN Mobile 5.0.I have to call a website/webservice using https://<IP NAME>.com. I have secured my IIS 5.0 using SSL and installed root certificate at server. I sued verisign's trails SSL and they issues me client certificate for my browser.BUt as per my reqiurement when I try to acces the server from device,I am not using explorer(as am bypassing it) and am directly creating a https request from my code.
But in response I am getting "trust failure" error,although the device has certificate insattled on it.
Can you please let me know how resolve it, Do I need to make any code chnage while creatingh HTTP request?
In .NET CF2.0 We are not given HttpWebRequest.ClientCertificates.Add(<>) method. Is there any workaroud for it?

how to enter username when accessing a network share

Hi all,
can somebody tell me pleasa how I can enter a username when I'm using the fileExplorer and tapping "Menu->Go To->Open Path->\\fritz.box\Media"?
My WinMobile only asks for a "network password" but I'm not able to enter a username.

i would make an user on your pc by the same name as you pda
or use total commander belive it got better networking options then explore

[Q] Exchange Sync Err

Hello Everyone,
Am unable to sync exchange with HD2 (energy rom) i recieve an err with the following code 0x85010001. However, nothing wrong with my corporate exchange server if used on other devices.
Please urgent help is required

You should check the following as being the most common reason not able to sync with exchange:
- date/time on your phone
- is the correct cert loaded on your phone
- can you connect to OWA using web browser

You need to have a valid SSL certificate from your mail server. But this is only the case when your company doesn't have a purchased SSL certificate but a self generated one. So if this is the case your company admin can provide you with the certificate.
