[Q]Continuous Hard Resets

happy new year guys.
(i hope there are still people around this forum.)
guys i have a lot of problems with my trinity.
the first is random hard resets. i cant undetstand why and when they happens. the othe one is that yesterday my. screen went off after doing some weitd stuff.
so i am wondering if all that have to do with a danaged battery?
if that's so i can buy a new one and keep going. on the other hand if the damaged is somewhere else then it would be a waste of money to buy a new battery.
i would like to hear everything that comes to ur mind.
thanks guys,
have a nice 2013

it could be caused by operation of the existing system on the device you've messed up or damaged, you should try to re-flash rom first
ok i ll try to reflash the rom although i dont think it is the caused.
anyway i ll be back.

I reflashed but it doesn't seem to be the problem. i think that this is happening after it get hot . and not extremelly hot but when you keep it on for 15min or so.
anyway . i recall that all these happens after a day that i have forgot it in the car facing the sun with a new battery and the charger plugged . when i got back in the car i could hardly keep it in my hand for 5 sec. the baterry couldn't be touched at all. frrom that time ( almost two years ago ) the same sympton when i try to use this phone.
i think this is a hardware (desoldering) problem but i dont now what chip and where is it ....!
any tips would be much appreciated.

[Q] Thinking about getting a G2... thoughts?

Hi, I hope it is ok to post this question here....
So I drowned my HTC One X today and, looking at prices, I came across the G2 which isn't all that much more expensive than the discontinued HTC. I guess that's because there's the new G3 but that one is way too big for me.
What are you general thoughts on this phone, are there problems I should know about, hardware of LG support wise? I never owned an LG mobile before nor do I think I know anyone that does. Also, and I swear I tried to google all this stuff out before posting, but is the international version of the phone the AT&T one?
Cheers!

I've owned a couple LGs now. Before my G2 I had an Optimus G Pro. The g2 is definitely a beast of a device. Screen issues do exist though, and they're not very uncommon. My buddy's screen actually got the flickering issue earlier tonight right before my eyes. I've never had an issue and I highly recommend this phone, but I'm sure other owners would try their best to steer you away from the g2 simply because of issues that LG released the phone with. Its really up to you though. Hope my input has aided in your final decision

Yes it did, at least now I'll try to find out how prevalent those problems are or hw far along the line that sort of thing might happen. The HTC had what I'm assuming is the same issue, plus problems with the wifi antenna but seemed to be something restricted to the ones made on their factory in China.
Well, I have the weekend to figure it out and, meanwhile, I'll use a Nokia 6300 I found o the back of a drawer Gods, do I feel naked without a smartphone
------
Edit: So I managed to get a used one for a good price out of ebay and it was pretty much out of desperation. It's an 802 so I'm hoping I don't have to deal with the restrictions of a carrier specific model which I tried to read on, only to decide I don't want to go through again like I had on the HTC.
Thanks guys!

Weird Problem on my LG G2

(Seriously man, I can't post a link!)
www[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=ux-YzGq-vSA
(phew... that was a huge hassle)
That should give you an idea on my somewhat weird and strange problem on my LG G2.
So, I have had my G2 since 2014, has worked surprisingly very well with very very little problems. But just recently I upgraded to Lolipop, was fine for a day or so and this problem suddenly appears. Initially, I was checking my phone and browse the internet, as usual, then I was surprised that my screen moved and jumped like crazy (exactly shown in the video). I was first baffled with this and wondering "what the hell is wrong?". Alright, so I soft reset my phone straight away after that and... Still the same problem. From that time I had been thinking that this could be a serious problem.
The problem started yesterday and is still there even now (with smaller frequency), now I want this to be fixed and I don't know where should I begin. I don't think it's the update that caused this because it was fine for a day or so and no one else got this problem (after updating). I am seeking for your help, anyone?

Sorry, but I don't think so. I have never got this problem before, the phone's touchscreen isn't behaving erratically at all. It also have been updated to KitKat from Jelly bean before and there is no similar problem whatsoever. Works 100% fine. And I can tell you that my phone was new, not refurbished... Well, it may be but if I got the phone from a retailer as 'new' then the chances of my phone being refurbished is very very low. There is still a possibility though, how can I check this without doing difficult works? Thanks

In case it is, only seeing model number on motherboard only, pay no attention to other parts...
i just watched video. it seems like your screen maybe damaged or if it has ribbon cable. maybe remove it and clean it or maybe loose.. just as suggestion.. not sure what could be.

I had this problem since 1 year ago too. until now the screen is still jumping but at a low rate unless i watch video or play game than it will jump slightly more often. Any update after you bring it to the service centre?
Sorry for the stupidly long update, I have only just given the phone to LG on Wednesday. I'll update this thread when I get the phone back.
Got it fixed early last month. Sorry for the late update.
