Hi guys,
I have been using the phone for 15 days. At first everything was wonderful. But two days ago phone got in to quickview mode strangely without anu quick view case. So reboot, safe mode or anything else didn't helped. And I got in to factory reset mode. After factory reset at first everything was fine. But after a few hours later status bar disappears ramdomly and very high battery drains. I reset the phone again and same problem comes again. Now when I open full screen picture or sth like that as you know soft buttons and status bar hides. After fullscreen soft buttons comes back but status bar not. I must close and reopen the screen for status and notification bar. So this strange problem is my trouble and i can't get over. Could you please help?

Hey guys/gals!
I have been rooted since the second week and just started noticing this.
I have removed voodoo and still notice the same problem.
This is what happens.
The screen will go blank and I can still touch the soft keys and they illuminate but don't actually get pressed (as in I don't get the feedback). I wait 30 seconds and try to turn the screen on, and it will act like I just returned back from the Airplane mode.
This started happening ever since I used the clockr widget, oneSeven widget, and desktop visualizer to do the wp7 style icons. I am not sure if any of this caused the problem but I started having this problem since I started using these items.
Thanks for all the help.
Hi,
The navigation and status bars, and notification shade (presumably because they are controlled by the same system process) are freezing very often on my Nexus 4. It seems to happen after unlocking the phone when it's been on standby - either the little dotted circle persists for 2-3 seconds or the navigation buttons begin the 'fade in' animation, and freeze during it for a 2-3 seconds. The status bar is also affected, the time disappears from the top-right corner and the notification shade is unresponsive while frozen, then moving rapidly as it catches up with my finger movements that occurred during the freeze.
The most confusing part of the issue is that it has persisted across a full system wipe. It originally began on PA 3.99, and so I decided to do a factory wipe and go back to stock, blaming the ROM. I made sure to wipe all storage and settings, caches and restore the stock recovery. This worked for a short while but the issue has returned as bad as ever. It seems to go away temporarily when I reboot, but returns fairly soon. The only link between the installations is whatever settings are restored from Google's servers when setting up the phone. Could they be at fault? Has anyone else had the issue, or does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks.
I rooted my LG G2 vs980 (Verizon) many months ago. However I never actually performed any modifications. Don't ask haha.
Anyways, I wanted to unroot my phone, and being that I rooted it with ioroot, I was told to unroot it just by simply going into the settings in SuperSu and hitting Full clean uninstall. I did just that, however it stayed on the uninstalling screen forever, and NEVER WENT AWAY. It never finished the uninstalling process. I even left the phone doing the uninstalling process all night and never touched it. I had no interference with the uninstalling process.
When I realized it wasn't going to uninstall, I backed out, and did a factory reset on my phone, then restarted the uninstall process. Still the same.
This time when I tried using my phone:
1)My home button didn't work. When it was pressed, it would vibrate normally, but would not actually go to the home screen.
2) The little settings icon in the status bar, when dragged down, does not work. I have to hit the menu button and go into settings that way.
3) The lock screen does not work. I have a lock screen setup with a pattern. However the lock screen completely does not work, as if my phone isn't locking all the way. The screen will go black, and come back on with no lock screen.
4) My notifications completely do not work. My phone will sometimes make sound/vibrate like normal when receiving a notification, but my status bar will not show anything.
5) My computer won't even recognize my phone anymore either.
6) Volume buttons don't work.
7) So many other problems with the status bar.
Moral of the story, phone's screwed.
All help is greatly appreciated.
At this point, since there seems to be be so many issues, AND since you're already done a factory reset, I'd recommend just flash stock and start from the beginning again (which you've pretty much done already).
Hi,
So my Nexus 4 did work well, only I found a problem in the begin.
First with the navbar, it's was unresponsive, until I change the screen/rotation, but normale mode i didn't responde, not after any clear and reset, or another custom kernel/rom.
2 weeks after, my screen a little bit above the navbar, was unresposive.
So I can't open Apps in the home menu.
And now above the Apps's icon is the another row above also unresponive!
What is this?
I have reseted my phone 5 times now.
I fixed the screen by smashind hard to the ground, only the navbar doens't respond yet.
Was taking a pic with my 6P, and it sort of locked up on the camera screen(status bar pull down working but wouldn't respond to any touches like back, home or just going into settings from the status bar). So I just held the power button down to reboot, and now my display doesn't even turn on. The phone is running, was playing Pandora automatically when I went to my car, and can feel it unlock with the fingerprint.
Phone had been having issues with touch for about a week prior, as in it would stop responding to touches for 1-5 seconds or so constantly. Did a factory reset and wiped everything, but issue persisted.
Anything I can try here or is the display done? Guess I can't get into ADB mode because the phone is set to 'charge only' when connected to PC and I can't change it? Phone is rooted running Pure Nexus rom.
Don't think I'd bother with replacing the display if that's the fix, was ready to upgrade.
