Browser
Opera is the best browser.

Dolphin and Chrome
I'm on Ultimarom with a Galaxy S3 and I mostly use Dolphin and Chrome, although I'm not really happy with either one. Haven't been able to find one that I really like.

uc and mozila

Chrome & native browser

Since I used Symbian I yave used Opera Mini, it saves much traffic and charges pages very fast but the lack of flash player and html5 makes that when I need this I use stock on 4.0+ with its good pc mode or Opera Beta, wich is veery good also.

Dolphin browser mini, sooooo fast and bugless

Racingbean + Dolphin Browser, much better than Chrome
Enviado desde mi Xperia Arc S usando Tapatalk 2

Super Jelly Bean 8, Opera Mini browser. I find other ones heavy on ram and I'm not so much into changing themes. Simple, fast, bugless.

ROM AORP 4.4.20. Using Opera mini, it's simple and fast.

Opera mini
Dolphin
Puffin it's good to but I use it only when connected to WiFi

UC FOR DOWNLOAD.
OPERA MINI FOR BROWSING.

I use the AORP 4.4.2 too!
I use dolphin though, to browse AND download. It also has flash support (you got to download the hacked 11.1 flash app here in xda)

Hmmm... I'am with stock froyo rom and it's pretty fast (Have you disabled flash?), it's even faster than simple dolphin, best browser for me (cant say about dolphin mini, havent tried it yet )
Personal preference really. I like miren because it's pretty, has flash support as well and is fast and lightweight well for me), dolphin is just too bulky imo.
tried all of them but still prefere the build in.

Browsing the web on the wildfire is a horrible experience. When i have no other means to check if the government has paid me my welfare benefit, i use Dolphin browser HD.
Opera Mini here. Been using it on Nokia before, I really like it a lot.

Been using Opera Mini since my previous Nokia and it does everything i need whilst being mega simple. Don't see the need for anything more tbh.
Dolphin, Opera Mobile 10.1 beta and stock browser. Afrer update to 2.2.1 I use stock browser the most.
Opera Mobile, A bit big but it has everything I need.
Opera mini is ok but lacks Pinch to zoom and desktop rendering.
I tried xScope, Fast but not for me.
Dolphin HD, Slow compared to others and so bulky.
Yet to try Miren though.

[Q] Any better browser for x8?

I have tried Opera mobile, skyfire, chromelite, none of them can play html5 video,so are there any better browser?

Which browser do you use ?

Hi,
The browser on the arc is amazingly fast but when it comes to zooming or scrolling it's a bit laggy. I tried firefox and the scrolling is so smooth... but i prefer the default browser. I read it was something about opengl ? Why can it Be smooth like firefox ? Which one do you use ?
Sent from my LT15i using XDA Premium App
im using dolphin, got gesture feature, cool....
Xscope... Works perfect for me
Sent from my arc or optimus 2x
I am using XScope.. I was using it on my X10 also
Im using the stock browser and agree that scrolling and zooming is stuttery. I use opera mini from time to time aswell. Its quick and smooth aswell but I see some phones have trouble installing it. Eg would not install on my desire or nexus s.

Another vote here for Dolphin - very good customising options.
Default browser.
Why didn't you make a kind of a poll?
I like Opera Mobile 11 a lot. I have used it as a primary browser few weeks. Few bugs but I like it because it's much smoother than the stock browser.
Opera Mobile here too.
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
Opera mini, its smoother than default browser, but im still looking for alternative browsers
Sent from my LT15i using XDA Premium App
Opera Mini is actually the best web browser for smartphones, because iirc, they "intercept" the web site you want to view, scale down images for less MB usage/faster loading time, then serve that website on your Opera Mini.
At least that's how it worked a year ago.
Dolphin
Very smooth
And allows to change easily the user agent
Nice design
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
Dolphin here too
Small and fast
Actually, Dolphin is the stock browser with a theme and gestures.
Sent from my LT15a using XDA App
Dolphin HD is much much more feature rich than the stock browser.
Just started using dolphin hd and must say its pretty good I dont often stray with browsers away from stock, but liking this a lot

Dolphin user here also, got bunch of add ons to choose from. And of course gesture is nice.

* Stock browser for full browsing
* Opera Mini when data connection is slower or in travel.
Opera Mini has also the amazing Opera Link so my bookmarks are with me for years,
And has great download ability.
So, Dolphin, Opera mini and Xcope are the ones getting most recommendations. I'd like to know which provides the highest speed? I dont care too much about zoom in/out.
I use dolphin too, but I use the dolphin mini ! it's not only fast but more user friendly on general setting~~~only that it does not have auto-full screen, but I dont care~

Which browser is most power efficient?

I'm a big fan of dolphin browser so I use it as my default browser. I'm an even bigger fan of saving battery so my question is which browser is most power efficient : dolphin browser, google chrome, or the stock samsung browser? (Any others aswell).
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
I liked dolphin too. Then used the lit version. Found the full version overkill for my needs.
Then moved to Firefox because I can sync my desktop Firefox browser tabs to my mobile Firefox browser.
I'm using dolphin browser. I don't think there are huge differences in power consumption between different browsers. I like the smart features of the S4 for the stock browser but Dolphin is just so buttery smooth.

Dolphin beta and sometimes Chrome. Stock browser only when I need to see flash websites

But almost all anti-virus apps use only stock browser to scan sites..so that makes me stick to stock browser

mufaddalezzi: you don't need to worry about websites yet, I have yet to hear about a virus entering an Android phone through an infected page/ad.
and for apps you should now have bouncer installed(part of the Google services framework, shows as "verify and install") which works with any browser.
I use opera mobile classic for now, until opera fixes all the crashes, oops cats, and slow animations in opera 15.
Chrome. And Firefox! Chrome because it look pretty much like pc version. And firefox because of flash support for my XTZ
Well I used lookout, mcafee and kaspersky and all detected some pages with malware and viruses and this happend in only on stock browser..I even tried to test same malware/virus page on other browsers and non of them were able to detect anything..so just thought playing safer side
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Only stock browsers because I need flash player. Used to use Opera until they killed flash support.
Dolphin's new beta brower supports flash..it's really smooth than stock

uc browser hd, opera mobile classic and stock samsung browser
My 2 cents on all browsers on the market now.
Next browser : Their swype gestures and in UI in general is a pleasure to use, highly unstable though and seems like an unfinished product, until stability reaches a good level i can't recommend it
Chrome : The laggiest piece of crap in the market, can't recommend it at all
Chrome beta : much smoother but falls short in comparison with other browsers
Stock browser : The smoothest of the bunch, yet has the worst way to go from a tab to another, just feels dated
Opera : Didn't have a long experience with it, but it wasn't as fast or as smooth as opera so its just okay to me
Dolphin : Really smooth and really fast and has the best way to change tabs which is just natural and normal, my favorite choice, has support for flash, the problem with it that it forces you to watch links inside it instead of opening separated apps for the links, yet i can bear with that in return for the smoothness and the convenient tab switching
Dolphin because I can use Lastpass with it and Chrome because it syncs with my laptop and tab
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
Isn't Dolphin browser beta slow nowadays? i have had several problems like freezing pages and pages already loaded but the picture doesn't seem to appear.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Boat Browser opens big sites faster than any of 'em. Do your own testing, I have. You'll see. Turns Dolphin into a tortoise.
The new 'Next' browser...in beta, might beat em all tho.
