Yes skyfire works. I use dolphin bday and skyfire
Original dolphin is best, HD is so slow

Hmmm... I'am with stock froyo rom and it's pretty fast (Have you disabled flash?), it's even faster than simple dolphin, best browser for me (cant say about dolphin mini, havent tried it yet )
Personal preference really. I like miren because it's pretty, has flash support as well and is fast and lightweight well for me), dolphin is just too bulky imo.
tried all of them but still prefere the build in.

Browsing the web on the wildfire is a horrible experience. When i have no other means to check if the government has paid me my welfare benefit, i use Dolphin browser HD.
Opera Mini here. Been using it on Nokia before, I really like it a lot.

Been using Opera Mini since my previous Nokia and it does everything i need whilst being mega simple. Don't see the need for anything more tbh.
Dolphin, Opera Mobile 10.1 beta and stock browser. Afrer update to 2.2.1 I use stock browser the most.
Opera Mobile, A bit big but it has everything I need.
Opera mini is ok but lacks Pinch to zoom and desktop rendering.
I tried xScope, Fast but not for me.
Dolphin HD, Slow compared to others and so bulky.
Yet to try Miren though.

The browser that comes with gingerbread is super fast. I used to run Miren, but I'm really happy with the speed of the stock GB browser.

So before you switched over, was the Miren browser in your opinion the better browser out there? Miren > Dolphin?
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I've tried Miren, Xscope, Dolphin and skyfire. Of them all, Miren delivers the smoothest experience, and with the fewest FCs.
If you use Firefox 4 Beta on a PC then Firefox for Android is far and away the best. It syncs your favorites, passwords, history, and open tabs.
+1 on the firefox.
Dolphin Mini

In practice, I've not found this actually works at all, in fact, I found Firefox to be a horrible experience on the EVO.
I really wanted to like it, but it won't open when you click a link from and email for example, and it's rather slow, and I never got it to sync with my other machines. It's just not ready to daily use yet, IMHO
I uninstalled after a week, and installed Dolphin, which I really like so far.
I'm going to install Miren later today and give it a go, thanks
I like Opera Mini, loads everything super fast.
I have used miren, dolphin, xscope, and modified stock browsers my daily is xscope but im looking at miren now after it the recent update.
does anyone know if firefox for android syncs with minefield (firefox testers betas)
me personally, ive tried dolphin and i still prefer the stock android sense browser. it gets the job done, flash videos play fine, and downloading is easy.

Is there a way to get the gingerbread browser on a sense rom? Anyone have it to post with maybe instructions on how to do it?

Opera mini
I'd have to go with Dolphin Mini. I used Dolphin HD for the longest. Tried Mirens for the last week then switched over to Dolphin Mini the last two days. So far it's the best. Fastest webpage scrolling and typing. Zero lag on that browser.
firefox feature wise sounds great but it's really really buggy
Been trying out a variety of internet browsers on my cm7 aria. What Do you guys use and suggest? I've been vying for a new browser. Currently using dolphin mini. Please share your thoughts and what you know.
Thanks.

xScope is by far the fastest browser Ive used. Opera was good as well. But the lite version was a little lacking and the full version was HUGE, almost 30MB if I remember correctly. Maxthon Browser is another one I used for a while until I tried xScope. I never looked back. Amazing performance and its got enough features to keep me happy. Of course Dolphin is the king of addons if thats what you're after. But Ive found its a little slower then most of the other browsers.
I definitely recommend xScope and its free in the market.
+1 to xScope. Ran through a bunch this week; dolphin (lite, reg, hd), miren, boat mini, opera (mini and mobile), and skyfire for a little bit. They were all either too big (screen real estate), too bloated, or not functional enough. The Dolphin's especially absolutely destroyed my battery life.

Opera is reaaaaaaal smooth on the xoom guys...
tried Dolphin hd (crap), skyfire (choppy) and firefox (a joke). so far, only opera feels like a true tablet browser. also, once a page is cached, the load is instant (as it should be!)
now let's hope they allow the addition of more quickdials (9 ain't enough)
btw it's the full opera, not the mini

Really? Every time I try including right now, it is slow as crap. Dolphin HD is just as bad. Stock browser seems to be the best choice for me and that is not as zippy as I want either.
agree with OP. opera is awesome. Its the only browser I use on xoom right now, unless I need flash.

I like dolphin mini much better. I hate dolphin HD.
Yep +1 Dolphin Mini is the best browser right now.Opera is good but the lack of flash made me feel like I was using an Apple product lol.

dolphin HD works well for me....not sure why some people say its slow especially since the last update. My problem with opera is that some pages still showed up as mobile
euuuh guys I'm talking about Opera Mobile not mini.... flash works fine.
Stock browser still works best for me. Opera is fast but also crashes sometimes and I am unable to synchronise with my Opera Link account. Hoping for a fix soon.
thanks for the tip, using it now and seems much smoother, although slight delay noticed between clicking a link and the link opening, as if it's loading in the background, need to play around with the settings
How is the tab operation in opera mobile in honeycomb?
I found the tab is not as easy as the stock browser (all tabs are accessible directly outside) .

With you...read a 100 of these although browser post but none of the hold a candle to the stock browser....but everytime I read them I go download the app...still no good.
Just downloaded. It's real smooth but does not play flash. If it played flash I would make it my default.

Hi,
The browser on the arc is amazingly fast but when it comes to zooming or scrolling it's a bit laggy. I tried firefox and the scrolling is so smooth... but i prefer the default browser. I read it was something about opengl ? Why can it Be smooth like firefox ? Which one do you use ?

im using dolphin, got gesture feature, cool....
Xscope... Works perfect for me

I am using XScope.. I was using it on my X10 also
Im using the stock browser and agree that scrolling and zooming is stuttery. I use opera mini from time to time aswell. Its quick and smooth aswell but I see some phones have trouble installing it. Eg would not install on my desire or nexus s.

Another vote here for Dolphin - very good customising options.
Default browser.
Why didn't you make a kind of a poll?
I like Opera Mobile 11 a lot. I have used it as a primary browser few weeks. Few bugs but I like it because it's much smoother than the stock browser.
Opera Mobile here too.

Opera mini, its smoother than default browser, but im still looking for alternative browsers

Opera Mini is actually the best web browser for smartphones, because iirc, they "intercept" the web site you want to view, scale down images for less MB usage/faster loading time, then serve that website on your Opera Mini.
At least that's how it worked a year ago.
Dolphin
Very smooth
And allows to change easily the user agent
Nice design

Small and fast
Actually, Dolphin is the stock browser with a theme and gestures.

* Stock browser for full browsing
* Opera Mini when data connection is slower or in travel.
Opera Mini has also the amazing Opera Link so my bookmarks are with me for years,
And has great download ability.
So, Dolphin, Opera mini and Xcope are the ones getting most recommendations. I'd like to know which provides the highest speed? I dont care too much about zoom in/out.
I use dolphin too, but I use the dolphin mini ! it's not only fast but more user friendly on general setting~~~only that it does not have auto-full screen, but I dont care~
hi all what is the best android browser for full content desktop like sufing with flash ect.. which is the fastest at page loading and smoothest pinch to zoom/scroll

Ditto. Dolphin is the quickest to start up, and works really well.
Opera mobile works great, but has less functionality than, say, Dolphin. You can browse the web, download, and that's about it.
My HTC Wildfire S runs MagicOS (Unicorn Hair, Rainbow Extract and Pixie Dust).
I would have to say Dolphin Browser.
The stock browser (please don't call it Internet Explorer ! ). Less options but so fast...
i'm using xscope and it works pretty well. i like the clean look and flash is also working good. you also can browse in fullsceen mode and hide all status bars.
dolphin here too.
biggest disappointment was firefox. how can they get a pc browser so right and a mobile android one so wrong? maybe next version then?
Dolphin... I've used opera mini at first, then switched over
