Apparently, it has something to do with a combination of knock-on and lockscreen widgets.
There are several reports on various forums of the Gmail widget on the lockscreen causing reboots.

Well on the D802 international version it's there.

Try to change screen lock to Swipe if you are using some other method.
That worked !

Hey guys!
Is it possible to change the appearance of the lockscreen shortcut icons?
I'm not talking about swaping an app for another app, that I know I can do.
What I would really like to do is editing the icon and changing it's appearance (same way that is done in the home screen).
That would be really nice!
Thanks!

[Q] Could I flash a T-Mobile rom on my VZW G2?

I have a verizon LG G2 that I'm currently using on T-Mobile. I was wondering if I could flash a stock rooted T-Mobile rom. I'd like to get rid of the roaming indicator and the sim icon in the status bar. I already am using my phone on T-Mobile. Just want to see if I can flash a stock rooted T-Mobile rom.
No

What he said. Never flash anything that is not specific to your device. In the case of the G2 all carries have a different model.

Is there a way to get rid of the sim with a question mark icon and remove the roaming indicator then?
Anyone?

I have a vs980 and have no idea what you are trying to remove. Where are these icons you are referring to?

For some reason I can't upload a screenshot so here's an imgur link: http://imgur.com/jz4GCtn If you're not using your device on a gsm carrier you wouldn't see them.

Also my phone isn't being used on Verizon. I'm using it on T-Mobile

I flashed D802 roms and ATT roms on my phone, just flash your perspective kernel afterward. that being said, I own a Tmobile G2 so GSM to GSM may be ok. I dont know about CDMA.
I'd prefer to stay on the stock Verizon Rom. I just need to remove those icons.

try turning airplane mode off and on a few times for the roaming. Are you going to be stock rooted, or non root?

It says I'm roaming because I'm using my phone on a gsm carrier. Verizon phones come factory unlocked. I'm using it on T-Mobile. And yes I'm rooted.

This sound like something Xposed Framework and the correct module could handle. I'm using it to customize my VZW G2.
3 modules, for Xposed Framework, i think you should look at; App setting, G2 module and Gravitybox.
Anyone else use a different module?

None of these worked. All I really need to do is remove one icon and change another.

Question?

Do I need to root my D800 to be to change my themes like you can on the other carriers version of this phone? I had the sprint variant of this phone and had to go to AT&T due to signal issues. Stupid how AT&T conveniently left this feature out. And still let you manually change individual icons. All except the app drawer.
Anyways. Is there anything I can do to get this feature on my device.?

Bump.

Yes you would need to root to gain the theme chooser ability on the d800

CM11 Google now not fully up?

Hey all I recently just installed the latest CM11 nightly on my LG G2 T-Mobile and as I'm checking out the ROM I've noticed that I can't just say " Ok Google" and it pop up as in the Nexus 5 or can't slide to from left screen to pull it up. Is something that yet hasn't been implemented or did something go wrong during installation? All else seems to be working fine though. Haven't checked camera but assume it works... Any information would be great.

When you install CM11 did you remember how you had 2 choices for your launcher. One have the Google always listing feature wile the other does not. If you switch the launcher than that feature should work.

You omit to include the "aosp" ROM you're on.
CM11 on the d802 works just fine. Perhaps you're using a CM derivative that is somewhat behind, or your phone variant has some significant difference in terms of hardware/API/Driver.
I am running liquidsmooth but it did it on cm11 as well
Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk
Something odd about your phone on AOSP perhaps. Someone using the same might chip in.
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I was told its a AOSP rom issue.
