I have a rooted Mytouch 3G Slide running the Slidemeroot rom.
For the past week all of my pictures taken display upside-down.
When did I notice this?
It started happening after I installed some app from the market.
I tried setting the camera settings to default but this isn't a setting I can see (it's not there).
Any ideas?
: )

Anyone running this combo able to help me or with a small experiment?
When you reboot, as soon as you get back to the swipe to unlock screen swipe and sit at your home screen. Do you flash to an all black screen for a few seconds? I think I have isolated this to L Pro, doesn't do it on stock launcher, but want to see if its just me.
It looks an awful lot like what visionary would do when you had it set to root at boot.
Anyway, thanks for your input.

I've had the same problem using LauncherPro. I'd get a black screen that I had to sit and wait until it fixed itself on boot if I unlocked the screen too fast. There was also instances where the quick reply from chompSMS would cause the launcher to have a black screen. Navigation was difficult because I couldn't see anything. I eventually stopped using LauncherPro and went back to stock.
Don't get me wrong, LauncherPro is an amazing launcher alternative and this wasn't the reason why I stopped using it.

Thanks a ton. Glad to know its not just me. Was contemplating flashing back to stock and re-rooting to try to correct it. I can live with it I suppose, just really love the calendar widget. Hopefully it will be corrected in a patch.

I happens to me as well. I can live with it, though.

Yea I think the problem is with LP .. I have plus and I have the same problem. . There's also a lag when you go from portrait to landscape, or is it jut me?

I've noticed this as well. But when in a program the accelerometer is fine but on the homescreen there is a slight lag.

Hey mates,
So here's my problem:
Whenever I open a game, the screen rotates into portrait mode, so that the buttons are at the top and the ports on the right side.
From time to time it would be better for me to have it in the "other" portrait mode because of my case.
Any chance to realize this?

Seems that not every app forces me to take that side.
Any chance to enable the sensor for every app?

Been trying to do this also, never found a good answer. I believe it is up to each developer how the app deals with screen orientation.
You can force any app to rotate any way you want with Ultimate Rotation Control from the Play store. I used it until I flashed Paranoid Android ROM. It worked perfectly.

Call me an idiot..... but how do i access the Gallery app through the Camera app. I have to back out and launch the Gallery app?
I'm rooted running 4.2.1.
Thanks!
You swipe to the right

Doesn't work that way for me...only works swiping from right to left.
Either way, its rather un-intuitive. Most casual users wouldnt know this gesture and even then, it sometimes brings up the settings circle if you swipe at a bad angle.
Dang i really am an idiot..... Thanks guys!
Swiping right or left seems to work on my N4. Was relieved when I found this one out, as coming out of the camera app then going into the gallery app seemed very long winded.
When I bought my Nexus 7 it came with the instruction manual as an ebook, but the N4 didn't come with one (unless I havent found it yet).
I am having issues with multiple picture frame widgets on my homescreens with the stock 4.3 or 4.4 launcher. This problem started when I was on 4.3 and carried over to 4.4. I put picture frames with different pics of my family on my homescreens. Recently I had to set my homescreens up again and when I go to place the widget on my homescreen it disappears. The picture frame is there with no picture. I've tried multiple picture frames from the play store and nothing is working. The stock picture frame does not work either. If I use apex or nova as a launcher the picture frames will work. It is only happening with the stock launcher and it's getting to be annoying. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have ideas or suggestions?

Bump. At this point im going to change my question since I haven't had any body reply. Has anyone had trouble with widgets in general disappearing from homescreems when trying to place them there? That could at least point in the right direction on trying to fix my problem.

Using the widget for picture album on my home screen without any issue. This is the stock launcher from android 4.4
build, KRT16S. The widget remained on the home screen after multiple reboots and shutdowns.
