Is anyone else getting complaints about how you sound on the other end of a call? I don't have the greatest phone voice for sure, but I'm getting a lot of comments that I sound "muffled" on the other end. I talk to mostly the same half dozen people all the time and nothing like this happened on my htc evo 4g. I still have seven days to return it and still want a G2 so if it is just this device I want a replacement.

that happened to mee!!!!!! if you have warranty tthen i'd send the phone in cause speaker phone gets annoying especially when people are listening to your conversations.
If you know how to open phones and work phones, somehow get a blackjack earphone speaker its the same for the wing. thats what im doing since i dont have warranty =(
I'm on my like 3rd Wing right now. The last time, the touchscreen stopped responding... and I can't remember why I had to get it exchanged the first time.
With some very heavy persuasive skills, I went to the TMO store today, and got them to instore exchange my phone... and the receipt I had from the last exchange was 8/30/07... which is past their whole 14 days exchange/return policy. w00t! haha
well done, hope the new one works good for you
Have you found said blackjack speaker? I need one of these as well. What the frick is up with the speakers on these phones?
wow, I am beginning to hate HTC more and more, too many effing problems...
My speaker stopped working on my Vogue. It just happened over night one day and it didn't bother me at first but now its getting annoying. No ring or speaker phone or sound on videos. Now that I'm using Android full time I'd like to be able to hear the videos that were so choppy in WM but are perfect with Android.
Any suggestions? don't know where to start. Was gonna get a new phone but that was before Android was flashable. I can spend $50 on a deductible thru insurance but if there's a way to fix this for less I'd like to try it.
Thanks

it very well could be that the speaker could have come unplugged from the board. i would take the phone apart before paying the 50 bucks but thats me...not sure if breaking the void speaker will ruin insurance, well i guess you could say you lost it and pay the 50 bucks
Thanks. Yeah I guess I should try that first. Was wondering if others had that happen to them. Do I need any special tools to take the phone apart? Never tried before.
Took phone apart to check speaker but it seems to be well connnected. It wasn't a plug though. Just two contacts that are pressed against the board. The contacts are good and clean. Anyone know how I can get a speaker? Just found out if I place another insurance claim I get dropped for 12mo. I plan, on getting a new phone (HTC Passion if it actually comes to VZW ) in the spring but would really like my speaker to work til then. Not to mention I want insurance on my new phone
So I'm on my 3rd MT4G, had no real problems with the 1st phone just had some odd cosmetic issues so I called T-Mobile and they went ahead and sent me a "like new" MT4G replacement phone. I ran that phone for a little over a week; rooted, iced glacier 1.1.6. Then the speaker blew out for no real reason. I tried restoring it back to factory, and the problem was hardware related (not software). Called T-Mobile again they apologized and sent out another "like new" replacement phone. This time I ran it stock for awhile, then rooted it on CM7 nightlies. After two weeks same thing, blown speaker. T-Mobile has again agreed to send me out yet another "like new" replacement phone but, I'm getting a bit annoyed with this situation. If it happens again T-Mobile has agreed to exchange the phone for a different phone of my choice.
I really don't understand why this is happening, I almost always use head phones. And I very rarely use the speaker phone on calls, if I do the volume is turned down below 75%. Sometimes I use the speaker phone with Google nav in the car with the volume at 75% or less.
My question is has anyone else here encountered a similar problem with their MT4G (I did a search and couldn't find anything), what are my options regarding the speaker issue?
what was the other phone of choice option ?

I'm not altogether sure about how the T-Mobile exchange deal works I'd assume that it would be good towards a similar value/spec phone offered by T-Mobile. Honestly I'm not really all that interested in any other phone that they offer. Maybe the Samsung Galaxy S but, I don't really like the lack of sd card storage expansion.
Pretty disappointed with this whole deal, if the next replacement phone does the same thing I'm going to insist that I get an ACTUAL new MT4G and not a "like new" refurbished phone shell which is what I think I've been getting...
I sent my DESIRE HD in last week on Wednesday and i just got it back today
the fault with it was IN CALL VOICE CRACKLING required new SPEAKER.
I got the phone back today and tested it and all they seem to have done is REFLASHED the firmware. they have done nothing what so ever to the phone at all no new speaker and in call voice still crackles.
waste of bloody time and space thats what they are.
they can make outstanding phones but there tech support is utterly ****!
Im not impressed.
I've not had a problem with them to be honest. Call them up again and tell them of the situation and that this time they should fix it properly and quickly.
Hi,
I have been a really happy user of Nexus 6P so far. It is a wonderful phone. I have loved every aspect of it. However, I have been receiving complaints from the other side of call a lot about my voice not being audible. I have to disconnect the call and call again and speak loudly almost every time. This has been the case since beginning, I just ignore it because I don't use the voice calling feature a lot.
Yesterday I lost it and decided to give up on this phone OR try out solutions if there are any.
Is there any real solution for this phone? The phone is out of warranty and I do not expect Huawei to repair it for free. Spending money on repair would cost me a bomb. I would rather go and purchase OnePlus 3T
You should attempt clean install and formating it fixed my mic issues
