Good evening all.
sorry for my english I'm french.
Recently I got a message announcing the closure of an application attempting to access a result see screenshot.
In addition I have tried a factory restore unsuccessful.
Then via 'recovery of a full wipe also unsuccessful.
attempted reinitialisation applications for on another forum without success.
My phone is N9005 in MJ3, the message appears in a connection to a data network (wireless or 4G or otherwise), it seems to come from Knox.
when restoring via 'recovry' I got a message on the update of security service but it did not change anything. now I checked 30 days to be hoped an update or solution by pro that are on this forum.
Today I got this message too. Weird thing is I get it everytime I connect to a wireless network. I didn't change anything in apps or settings. I checked the 30 days box and i don't get it anymore..
Hi,
I believe this is a Knox bug which Sammy is fixing or already has with one of the recent patches/updates. Safe to say you don't need to worry about it.
Next time it appears, open the notification panel and long press on the alert. An option should show to take you to the offending app. Pretty sure it will be Knox. For now just silence for 30 days until fixed.
Jonty.

This happened to me. Then I got an update OTA and now when I try to check for updates it says it's been modified. I'm not rooted or done anything to it. Should I be worried? I may try keis to see what that says.

Ok starting yesterday my play (r800x Verizon us) started acting odd what it did was everyone that has Verizon knows we get an update message a couple times a day well I was getting it every ten mminutes so I desired to know why so I hit update, then my screen blacked out and then I was on my home screen. I went to the update option in the settings menu and it said previous session started down load in progress. It was like that for two days. I then used seus and reloaded my os and now its fine I still get a prompt to update every so often but I was just woundering what in blazes happened?

Just turn off auto search for updates. Settings > about phone > software update > auto search (untick it).
Did you try updating over wifi? or 3g? Maybe it dropped signal and never restarted? God knows lol as long as you got the update is all good i suppose I just leave the auto search off and when someone says updates are out on xda i will then use ota or seus or flashtools to update depending on the circumstances.
That's the thing the update isn't out yet, and update can only be done on 3g not wifi, I just hope it will come out soon

Hello all!
I'm from Argentina. (Excuse my poor english)
I have a full stock S4 i9500, bought to Samsung (without any carrier logo, unlocked).
During christmans night i received a notification about a new update available, i just downloaded it and installed it. Phone is now on 4.3 (Knox and other stuff are now available).
Since that update, the mobile signal is working very bad.
Every 2 or 3 hours signals completly goes off.
If i restart the phone, or turn on/off airplane mode, signals come back.
If i just leave it, takes more than 1 hour to recover signal.
This is becoming very annoying, since i uses sms a lot with my girlfriend (she don't like smartphones) and also, im loosing a lot of calls during signals fails (when signal come back, i ussually receive a lost call message).
I searched forums for this same problem, but i just found people who had stock problems, and in my case, problem become with the new update.
I want to avoid full factory reset if it possible.
I can post any screenshot if needed!
Im sorry but one solution can be make a factory reset. Only make a SD Internal backup to ur pc before do it and is all

I have a sprint galaxy s5. Ive had this problem for about a month and the only thing i havent tried is coming here. The push notifications are not coming through on any app unless the phone is on wifi or i leave an app running on the screen while im away. Ive check all the settings, had sprint look on their side, factory reset, took it to a sprint store, and than had it replaced with another S5. After the first day with the new phone it worked fine until i went to sleep and it updated to 4.4.4 over night. The following day the same problem, no push notifications on data. I went to a samsung video chat and they said it was a bug and wait for the 5.0 update. Well......its here and im still waiting for my friends test email and facebook message to come through.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
Bump
If you're rooted maybe this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andqlimax.pushfixer
could fix your issues. There is an app for non rooted devices too, but I doubt that it works as good.
I'm not rooted and tried the other app you recommended with no luck. I decided since the 5.0 update came through to factory reset the phone. I sent a test to my gmail and installed whatsapp to see if notifications would come through and I've had no luck. Looks like another trip to the sprint store for another phone.

Maybe you have Restrict Background Data checked. It wont give any notifications on Sim network till the app is open. Did you check this out? Push notifications are coming easy on the WiFi and not on mobile data.
I have tried the restrict background data, toggling it on and off and I also checked data usage for apps and none are restricted. Everything is fine on wifi but not on data, app has to be running on the screen to update if i'm not connected to a wifi. I've looked through different forums and many reported the issue fixed because the APN needed changed, but Sprint will not let me configure it. I've been through their tech team and everything seem right on their end.
Hello thank you for your time, girlfriends phone the SM-N910W8 has been having some issues. I was hoping someone might be able to help me resolve.
The problems seemed to start with her battery. It dies when she opens the camera, sends mms messages, takes pictures with battery lower then 40% when she plugs it in the phone reads as still having 30% or so battery. Sometimes it will bootloop when she trys to power back on.
A few months ago more issues starting popping up. She had pin unlock set up on her phone one day the phone would not accept the pin there was no changes made to the pin. I tried to root her device and use a toolkit to disable pin. I was not successful with attaining root and installing anything as I couldn't get TWRP installed. I belive that was due to not being able to change some of the settings.
We ended up reseting the pin via find my mobile which also failed. Ended up factory resetting.
I reverted the phone to stock but of course the Knox counter is at 0x1 now and she can't update her phone.
Anyone have any experience with this or can offer some suggestions as to if the phone is savable or does she need to upgrade. She really likes the phone and hopes to not have to part with it.

Have you bought a new battery for it? That would be the first thing to try.
She has been looking at battery but can't seem to find one with decent reviews. I have tried to calibrate it doesn't seem to help.

Here in the UK Samsung has them in stock. Otherwise either buy DIRECT from Amazon or carrier (not third-party seller) or get an Anker, PowerBear or PolarCell. Sounds like her battery is end-of-life.
My Note 4, the “Phone” app keeps freezing everytime I receive a call. When I receive a call, I get a continuous pop-up saying “Phone has stopped”. I get the option to close the pop-up but it keeps recurring, and my only option left is to quickly click close on the pop-up and hit restart as soon as possible or remove and reinstall the battery . Rarely, there will be one call that I will be able to pick up successfully.
this i faced this problem after the last Samsung galaxy note 4 6.0.1 update.
I don't know if the problem because the update or not.
I already tried to clear data of PHONE app from the apps manager.
You could always to do a factory re-set. It completely wipes your phone so you need to make sure you have everything backed up first. Just go into settings / backup restore. Hopefully if it is just something to do with calls only that may correct it. I hope you are not having an issue with the motherboard like many of us.
I am having this exact same problem. Have an unanswered thread a couple of threads up from here.
When you go to recovery do you get a complaint about efs not mounting invalid argument?

Hi sir
I was using a call recorder app called Call Recorder - ACR ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr&hl=en
when I deleted the app I haven't faced any problem yet
so if you are using any call recorder apps try to uninstall them and see if it worked
