Hi,
I want to update to the official 4.4.2 KitKat release for my N9005 that is rooted. Will I have any problems loading the new firmware on a rooted N9005 (or lose root), or would I have to un-root it first?
My current odin mode statuses:
Product Name : SM-N9005
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
Reactivation Lock: OFF
KNOX Kernel Lock: 0x0
KNOX Warranty Void: 0x0

Ok thanks. I guess I will wait until there is a way to root without tripping KNOX for 4.4. There has been no problems with 4.3 for me yet.

If you want to keep knox 0x0 and root I think you need to read starting here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49452031#post49452031
Either way IMHO you must also check if your current CSC is also present in the multi-CSC from the XEO N9005XXUENA6 - there are some very strange reports somewhere from 2 out of 3 users with CSC in the Nordic EU, and I think 100% failure with CSC coming from Hong-Kong.
Hi,
I have Note 3 16gb and I bought here in Saudi last 2 weeks ago but after i flash my Note 3 using official 4.4.2 using Philippine Firmware i got FAILED in ODIN and there's EXT4 error then every time i turn on my Note 3 it showing UDC Start, please see below little detail.
I read all the forum about this issue but still not working, I believe my Note 3 maybe came from Hongkong because of the box showing.
I wanted to know if i use Official Firmware using Hongkong which is "TGY" is there any solution or i need to do something to make my Note 3 back to life?
Thank you very and I hope you can give me exact procedure or which file I can use.

You have no SM-G900F, you have an SM-G900P.
So just download and flash an appropriate firmware.
Hello,
Here's my device information:
Storage: 32 GB
Bootloader Version:
N900AUCUCNC2
PDA Version:
N9005ZHUENF1
CSC Version:
N9005OJVENE1
Baseband Version:
N900AUCUCNC2
Latest Firmware:
N/A
Android Version:
4.4.2 / SDK 19
I tried flashing a Colombian Lollipop stock ROM ( PDA N9005VJSGBRH1 ) but Odin (v 3.13.1) fails at aboot.mbn.
The device is not bricked or anything, but I am unable to flash the Android 5.0 ROM.
Could you please let me know which stock ROM should I download and flash, or any other steps I should follow to get stock Lollipop on this device?
Thanks!
What is your device ??

Thank you for your reply, I am still learning all of this since I am a newbie.
I have a SM-N9005. And yes, the bootloader and firmware are weird because I think it I got it soft bricked before so I fixed it in any way I could at that time.
What would you recommend me to download and flash now? I would like to flash stock 5.0 for Latin America if possible.
Thanks! :good:

Knox Warranty Void: 0x0
Qualcomm SecureBoot: Enable (CSB)
