Does anyone know how to bypass the disablement of the NFC tap and pay for google wallet by verizon? Since you have to get a special sim for the alernative, id like to look for a bypass before ordering one

So it looks like there's an update to the Google Wallet app that addresses the security hole found when you clear data. If you clear the app's data and set it up from scratch, it now makes you log in to your Google account before it will activate and allow you to provision cards. This seems to be a good solution to me.
The problem is, they still haven't enabled provisioning of new prepaid cards on the back end yet. Hopefully in the next day or two they will...so...if you flashed a different ROM and now can't access the money on your prepaid card, here's hoping we won't have to wait much longer!
I hope soon, I miss shocking the cashiers.
I have a Visa with Wells Fargo so no chance of adding a MasterCard

Before switching to the Note 4, I had read reviews indicating that with both this handset and the GS5, you could set the fingerprint scanner to act as the pin for Google Wallet. However, I can't seem to figure out how to enable this option. There doesn't seem to be anything in the Google Wallet settings.
The only way I've been able to accomplish this is with a workaround using the third-party FingerSecurity app. That works fine, but when I pay at terminals, a pin is still required for each transaction.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Since Google wallet really only requires your phone to be unlocked in order to make an NFC transaction, I imagine the most "apple pay" like method using your fingerprint to authenticate would involve turning off the pin on Google wallet and setting your phone to unlock using your fingerprint. Before setting your phone on a terminal, unlock using your fingerprint and the transaction will automatically approve similar to apple pay, except the fingerprint comes first instead of after. I haven't seen a way to unlock Google wallet yet using your fingerprint, but if you are already using it to unlock the phone, I'm not sure it would be necessary to use it a second time to then authorize a purchase.
Hello - I'm working with google on this but they haven't been able to figure it out. Maybe someone here can. Unrooted 6P, but I don't think the phone is the issue.
I tried adding a card (MasterCard)to android pay, but my bank wouldn't allow it because of a security hold. Now, when I try to add a new credit or debit card, the MasterCard shows in the add card menu under the heading "You added this one to your Google Account already, so you'll just need to confirm some details." This card does NOT show on the google payments page. The google tech doesn't see it on his end. He does see pre-auths from me trying to add it. He wants me to master reset the phone, but when I load AndroidPay on another device - it shows the same thing for the MasterCard. I've cleared all data for the app on the 6P, but since it's showing in AndroidPay on my other device, I'm thinking it must be floating in google's servers.
Hello, was hoping to get some help on a problem with Google Pay on my Samsung S8+.
I have set everything up inside the Google Pay app but when I venture into the Samsung settings to make it the default payment app it says no payment apps are installed (I uninstalled Samsung Pay just in case). But there are two instances of Google Pay in the Others sections. I think one of these instances might be the Google Pay Send app I have installed along with Google Pay. I attempted to make a purchase with this setup and it failed.
I have also uninstalled and then reinstalled Google Pay but that didn't fix the problem. Is there any way I can get my phone to recognize Google Pay?
Thanks in advance.
