Hello, As far as I cant unlock my Phone [PIN Network] because i need to allow it in the *#0011# but when I put 1 It just does
"MENU NOT EXIST
PRESS BACK KEY
Current Command is 111"
I read in the forums that i need to flash the MDL modem back, the codes dont work with the MF3 modem AFAIK.
But when I try to flash the modem It just fails..
Any clue what to do?

i've tried this on a couple of l720's running on mdc, mf9, and mja (had to downgrade modem to mdc for mf9 and mdc: check autoprime's thread about international unlocking for the file and thank the guy who did it)
granted why would you want to this if you could use getmymsl or terminal emulator.
i'm pretty sure we've all had that one phone that doesn't want to comply for some reason so
with this method you can change your msl to 000083, go to qpst 4.0.2 and change the msl to 000000 by modifying nv item 85
(the msl for some reason only changes to 000083 haven't figured out why yet)
when using the phone on mja or mf9, downgrade the modem to mdc, if your on mdc your set
dial *#0011#
press menu
press back
menu again
key input: 0 enter
.....give it a bit and a new menu should appear titled "MAIN MENU"
select [2]CDMA
then [4]CONTROL
followed by [6]MSL EDIT
now it should say something like CURRENT MSL = -5333029 (or something similar) with USE 'Key input' of MENU for set
menu
key input: 000000 enter
menu should display now Current MSL = 0 reset the phone normally!! and after you reboot your phone you should have an msl that is now 000083
now your able to zero out your msl with qpst or keep it at 000083
hope this helps anybody
okay..got an s4 on o2. Used the unlock method, to get into the utms menu, i updated the baseband with a certain version, now it just wont change it via the odin flash? Any ideas. The handset is unlocked but for some reason, whenever i lock the phone and turn back on,the network drops. If i keep the screen on,the network remains. Ive tried a few roms and tried changing the baseband on all of them
but for some reason it wont stick...any ideas?

Try this one mate
Turn off your device
Boot into downloadmode
Open Odin / Select Phone/CP
Untick Autoreboot
Flash modem
Reboot once again into Download Mode using (Power+Vol down)
Flash Modem once more
Once done, unplug then reboot device manually.
If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with auto-reboot option turned off.
That worked spot on. Phones still unlocked. Not network drops at all.
Thank you mate

Hi,
I have a questions on iphone unlocking... I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this.
I have an iphone4g japan release. I have checked the imei number 012425004224049 online.. Showed that it's not blacklisted on softbank but is blacklisted on verizon.
1. How was it possible to be blacklisted with verizon and it was a japan release iphone?
2. Is there a way to reflash iphone baseband running on ios7.1.1 from BB 4.12.09 to 1.59.00 to be able use gevey sim?
3. Is it possible to replace ios7.1.1 baseband file ice_4.12.09 in the ipsw and replace it with the unlockable BB file ice_1.59.00
Then restore the iphone with the customized ipsw?
4. Can we reverse engineer ipsw file? How?

For two weeks, my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F has no signals. It keeps showing No Service, I can't receive calls/messages at all.
I have used Smart Tutor to contact Samsung, their engineer reset the system (maybe), but couldn't make it work. Then I sent the phone back to UK service centre, they sent it back to me quickly with doing anything --just because my phone is not in European warranty. :crying:
The details of the phone:
IMEI is right, fireware is Country: Hong Kong, PDA: G900FZHU1BOA1,
From I have read, it seems like the Radio was turned off. But I don't know how to turn it on.
I tried to enter Service mode by dialing code *#*#4636#*#* but it didn't work for me.
I can get into ServiceMode by code *#0011# but I don't know what to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi lingowistico,
I did what you said, but it still can't work.
Is the modem not for the UK? (btw, the phone was from Hongkong, but I use it in the UK)
help......
Aside from the radio/modem that you should try flashing i suggest trying a custom rom as i had a similar issue on the official one

You can do that by reading the stickies like everyone else does instead of expecting that someone else will do it for you.
same here in 3 different devices...
The same happened to mine and my wife's devices. Since last Saturday I rooted them both, load 4.4.4, then ulgrade them to 5.0... downgrade them again. Tried flas modem a d flash radio. Seems nothing is working. Both are g900h. And today just realized that my cousin's g900f just have the same issue since friday. How can I know the date of the automatic installed updates... maybe some update cause this?
Also tried shortcut master to enter the secref codes with super user... no code is working...
The signal just comes and go every 5 mi utes. Sometime I can make a phone call but it crashed like 1 minute after I made it. Lazy data signal.
What else do you guys reccomend?
Hi
I had a working & rooted (Magisk) Device and tried to fix a problem with an App, requiring unrooted device.
I disabled OEM unlock accidently, so I was captured in FRP lock after I had to reboot the A5.
I replaced my USB Flex Module, as device could not communicate with PC via USB anymore (this issue is definitively fixed).
I tried to do a emergency flashing with Samsung's Smart Switch, but I didn't work, as my device was not recognized/supported by Smart Switch.
I tried to flash an old Firmware (known to be working before) with ODIN, resulting in a Rev. error.
I tried some other Firmwares and accidently checked "NAND Erase", so I ended up with a soft bricked device. Flashing recent Stock Firmware didn't change anything.
I managed to download a weird 4-files Firmware (BL, AP, CP, CSC) version and a appropriate PIT file and flashed this via ODIN, so I finally got a bootable device back.
That enabled me to remove OEM lock and activate USB Debug.
Next I was flashing TWRP and restoring a recent backup from SD card. Everything looked fine but I couldn't make a call due to phone didn't register in network (IMEI and S/N are shown in Status menue and look good).
I flashed 2 Stock ROMs (A510FXXS8CTI7 & A510FOXA8CSF3) to get a working GSM network. -> no change
I installed "Network Cell Info Lite" app to validate radio is working correctly -> positive.
Anything else I can try?
Is there any kind of logfile, where I can read what happens during GSM network registering?
